  • Thank you for watching my latest DCS World cinematic short film ‘Live By The Sword’.
    I recorded all shots in November of 2021 (as you can see in my community tab here on CZcams) but only now managed to edit the film. Even though there are wars all around the world, year in year out, because of the factions involved I feel that I need to state the obvious that I do not condone war.
    Everything was recorded in DCS World using Eagle Dynamics' Mi-24p Hind and the Mi-8 Hip for some shots.
    I was missing some shots, specifically to the Mi-8 rescue operation. But I think you'll be able to connect the dots :)
    Thanks for watching!

      Sadly the current political climate poisoned the well for Russian sided videos. Not fair but true. The video was magic though as always.

    This is really cool! I like that it tells a story, I think a lot of DCS cinematics are just about the visuals.

      well i assume when anti air missiles hit air targets they blow up cuz that's kind of what they are made to do not really a insult the the plane when it gets killed by a specialized piece of equipment that is worth millions and took years to develop with the one task of doing that and they do it well would happen to any aircraft though idk why it didnt deploy flares

      hate to break it to ya, but the russian airforce is being annihilated. Russian aircraft stand no chance against MANPADS atm, and they stand even less of a chance if NATO would get involved. Russia has nukes, and an amazing SAM network. but their aircraft quite frankly got nothing against other airforces.

    • @dprov1877
      @dprov1877 Před 2 lety

      isnt that the ukranian air force emblem on the tail of that il-76 and the mi-24? yellow circle with blue inside is on Ukrainian air force aircraft, either way they both use the exact same equipment or just older versions of the same equipment only factor is training that makes the difference

      @@jussihaila they are currently being used for testing on Kh59mk2's in ukraine, and since they are long range cruise missiles theres no need to come close to SAM threats to fire them, some did combat testing and it went fine
