was the nickname of the Hungarian MiG-29's, translated to "big iron", emphasizing it's size and raw power compared to older MiG's that served in the Air Force.
3 of them crashed due to the low amount of flight hours fighter pilots were able to achieve in the 2000's.
Hungarian pilots brought home the first-place prize three times from the RIAT, given for the best solo display.
The Fulcrums were retired in 2010.

I don't know for sure with this video, but my DCS instance looks this good from time to time without any visual mods. Relatively high graphics settings (natch) and then - appropriate weather settings, time of day, camera angle/shot selection and virtual lens length. The camera angle etc is a vital component of getting a good shot. I don't know if this chap is a photographer or cinemaphotographer, but if not he has a wonderful eye naturally. I suspect there might be a touch of post-production, colour grading etc but it's not always necessary with DCS as the basic engine is pretty darn cinematic out of the box. Reshade also lets you change the grading live, but I don't bother anymore as it looks so good stock. I know this is a very late comment, but better late than not at all!
It's great to see the MiG-29 starting to get some love in game and in the sim-media!
Absolutely stunning! I can't explain how grateful i am that you didn't put any combat into this cinematic! It helps to appreciate the aircraft itself, and not just how much damage it can cause. The voiceovers were well made too. As a hungarian, it is a dream came true that i get to see a 1.cinematic about a fulcrum 2. a cinematic about a hunagrian fulcrum and 3. no combat; combined alltogether! Sir, thank you for this masterpiece!

Dcs should start paying content maker like yourself. This is module advertising, I was thinking of getting another fc3 module, but was not too sure about the mig29. Now after watching this video, I might go and purchase this beautiful plane.
