- Split-s landing in the Apache.
Here is a little test to show off the wonderful, exciting AH-64D for DCS World by Eagle Dynamics.
Who else is excited about the early access release of the Apache? I’ve been trying to get a good feel for the AH-64D ever since its release a couple of days ago. Besides studying the systems, I find its maneuverability quite surprising and satisfying.
Eagle Dynamics really outdid themselves! How do you like the DCS Apache? - Hry
I also noticed that Eagle Dynamics added a new PNG sequence export option with separate WAV audio to DCS World.
Beside that this video is proof that the Apache’s track files seem to be working perfectly fine!
This is in no way proof that the track files are fine... I have plenty of borked tracks. You need to fly an actual full length mission. And forget about MP tracks.
@VRimulator The two ways I have had track files work consistently are either using the server track file, or getting the track file from the person in the 2nd seat of a multicrew aircraft (has worked so far for the apache). The only downside to both of those is no pilot point of view.
Can show a video from Cockpit view about this amazing landing style? pls
Awesome work!
Nice flying!
Thanks Matt! You and the team did an amazing job!
It is sooo much fun to just fly this baby. You did such an outstanding job here. Can't be expressed enough!
Can only recommend anybody to try it in VR if you get the chance.
*** Yep, What Matt said ... I Subscribed because I like the "Feel" of your videos... Keep it up !!!!
The beginning looked so real! if I hadnt seen the title I would have thought this was real footage for the first half, great work man!
Absolutely!
Dude you have to show me how to land like this! Great shot, love the camera work
Love it, great flying man!
Super cool skills. Many thanks and kind regards, Nick
Thank you, Nick! The Apache is a beast, I'm just yanking on the cyclic and collective 😁
@@plokkum Wonderful, I love it. Thank you for your passion and support. Kind regards, Nick
@@nickgrey4136 Thank you, that’s really kind. I can’t thank you enough for your passion as well. Our videos are just a natural result of that.
Slick dude
wow...that's crazy! 👍
wow cool
CO want to see you in his office!!! (nice!)
The only thing that gave that away as not being real was the grass popping up, really impressive.
those are some great graphics settings to go along with some excellent flying! what's your computer setup?
Thanks! I have a 8700k, 32GB RAM and a 1080 GTX, although I rendered the video with the AVI recorder in DCS.
@@plokkumdo you use performance mods? The gpu seems like recording would be very hard
haha that was so Boss !
But can you keep a steady hover OGE on System? you exceeded a couple of limitations on your way down btw...
You can exceed it for a few seconds if I’m not mistaken. But in the meantime I did some more practicing and am now more able to keep it under control ☺️
Hovering is fun, I think I do a pretty good job in and out of ground effect.
Nice stuff!! Out of curiosity what camera keys are you using ?.
I used the 'free camera' to position the camera (default F11), then padlock the helicopter with CTRL+F3 to track it. Besides that, just the zoom and TrackIR.
@@plokkum Really appreciate the info thank you :)
@VRimulator Thank you mate, I will try this tonight. Never messed around with the camera before and it’s rather exciting.
What are your reshade settings?
I don’t use reshade or any other shader mod.
Okay, we all can agree that’s awesome, but 1 not so simple question, what kind of drugs were you on?
What? Eh….yes.
I can't imagine those rear wheels last long with this manoeuvre. Still can't beat this landing in the Huey - czcams.com/video/2Lgs2FiHtoE/video.html
