I ordered one. Its the most rewarding car I´ve tested. Sound. Its pulls the whole time. Looks. I can tweak a lot of things. Looks. Economy. LSD. And much more.
That’s good to hear. All the memes of “it’s not a gti if it doesn’t have an engine light” were a bit off putting. It’s a perfect car but I didn’t want a cool car that can’t last.
I had a gti pp mk 7 and just swapped it for a gti pp mk 7.5. Things I like better on the mk7 is the carbon fibre affect dashboard and also I think the throttle response on the mk7 is a little quicker, and I prefer the leather wheel on the mk7 as it was softer. Other than the the 7.5 is better all round.
Mister A-Rod yeah I’ve discovered that it “forgets” what mode it’s in when you switch it off and then when you start it again it defaults back to standard, which is really shit and Vw don’t see it as a fault 😡
Suppose you're right, but the new Golf was officially labelled a 7.5 so its kind of an official VW mid-life upgrade. VW themselves said it was the first time but you could be on to something
Like you said, it's a mid-life refresh not a completely new MK8. It'll be remarkably similar (as expected of a midlife refresh) so I don't get this nonsense of "it's too similar" from so-called car reviewers. Plus, anyone with half a brain can instantaneously see the cosmetic differences in the 7 and 7.5 within seconds.
a lot of people aren't familiar with mid generation refreshes. the 7.5 is just for marketing. obviously they will add small changes in new model years when a generation lasts 5 years.
Dimitris Ermidis hi, I do have sell my 7 gti for a supra mk4 month ago now ^^ I didn’t change it but watched tons of tutorials, seemed pretty easy to me

I bought one too. I love the thing with all my soul but the GTIs dark past of unreliability is scaring me. I’m gonna try my damn best to keep it alive
@@13vex I have not had any problems in 2,5 years. 💟

Nice. I hope those wheels are available on the Autobahn trim here in the US.
You should do this for the new Golf R next!
Good idea! maybe I just might do exactly that!
7.5 has electronic differential and the mark 7 has mechanical. Enthusiasts say the mechanical is much better.
Yeah, I think on track the mechanical diff is always going to be better.
Not the first time the golf has been revived midlife Mr. Paige, the mk2 golf was also revived midlife, if I'm correct?

What’s Damiens surname?
hey, i want to retrofit my GTI 7 for 7.5 GTI too...so the Q is, if are exeactly same? Or the shape is litlebit different. thanks a lot for answer.
Does anyone prefer the mk7 headlights over the 7.5?
Uu o uU
Looks something like that, the U-shaped lights are mean, especially on the Golf 7 R where there’s 4 of them lit up instead of 2 on the GTI
good video. you can make it a lot more professional with a mic though!
for sure! believe it or not this was shot on my lame phone! We've upgraded since!
agreed
Are these SE or Autobahn?
That white one is a gti

Can 7.5 gti front bumper could fit on a 7 gti ?
I'm sure it's possible. would be an easy way to modernise your Golf 7!
Performance With Page yes I’m pretty sure it could be super easy
@@carti.2jz11 Bro do you install them? I have golf 7. and i want to install 7.5 bumper front/back. do they fit?

Cool reviewer! Check out the 2017 GTI Clubsport on my channel for a comparision! ;)
7.5 the high performance and it stays on the road.
More or less... same shit. Wheels are ugly on 7.5
