"Wait... that's not a skeleton ship."
"No, it's my ship."
such a nice move and perfect sword lunge
Lol
Certainly a contender for the Best Pirate I've Ever Seen award
"No, You can talk while you're dead, it's fine."
shit had me dying
Did not know about harpoon locking... nice.
I discovered it accidentally. Felt like such a big brain when it happened
dudeee sameeee had no idea till now
It turns out there are lot's of things that you can do with the harpoon, that I did not know you could do lmao, time to grind!
Same
I did
Hold Q while you're on the cannon, and a radial menu pops up allowing you to pick normal cannonballs or any of the cursed cannonballs you're carrying on you.
Holy shit thanks
@Ruska Enjoy the frienship i never had.
also, you can zoom in while manning a cannon by right click to help you shoot those far away targets
I did not know that. I've been pressing tab to get different cannonballs, lol. That is so much faster.
For console that's LB
God, those chainshots. I would NOT want to ever fight you in game, you are so good at this lol

Set roles between your crew mates and you’re already better than 50% of the “sweats”
I dont know what you are trying to say for a generalization, but it seems uneducated. Almost every NAL player would be considered "sweaty" and they have assigned roles like bilge, helm, boarder, cannon 1 and 2, and more. It seems like you just want to insult tdmers you have encountered in arena, who choose not to naval (at least while tdming)
@@fourcatz918 what are you talking about... first of all, it seems like you both agree about setting roles being important but when and where did he even HINT at trash talking TDMers?? How did you even bring TDMs into the discussion. You were the only one being insulting. You just sound dumb. Go sit in a corner and think about how to use you’re brain before you speak.

The tragedy of uploading on reddit is you don't get the views on youtube. This should have thousands of views if not more
2:22 last week me and a friend went duo sloop and encountered a galleon; we landed a few shot really low so they were busy while we were punching holes through their mid deck and shortly afterwards sinking them with a ballast ball. It was insane how fast it went down.
how much loot did you gain?!
the key thing i learned from this video was i didnt know you could LOCK the harpoon by pressing x
damn that's useful!
@@Ace-fi8vs what button to lock it on Xbox?
@@syfekyle7666 X on controller R on keyboard
I did not know this either. Very useful to know. Especially if you attempt to go faster to someplace by Harpooning a Megalodon. This would especially be so if you're trying to escape from a Kraken and a Megalodon spawns on you.
Seeing kegs explode from firebombs when I’m in a fight always amazes me because of how beautiful the chaos is
3:18 I'd add that fireballs are perfect to deny control of the anchor and the steering wheel + a lot of monitinors have a crosshair feature which makes aiming cannons and harpoons so much easier
I can feel my immersion dying at the thought of a crosshair.
@@ballistichorse6221 LOL it's gotta be this way

This is a very high quality video with nothing but good information. Even for veteran players, there are some very useful tips here.
Ive been using your tip about sword lunging people off your ladder, ive also been using the turn and burn from your sword guide and its made me a better player. Also that jump onto your boat from the enemy’s exploding crows nest was so badass and felt like a movie moment
That last tip is really valuable to master, it can depend on speed, angle etc, especially for a galleon crew. If one is on the harpoon, and the rest on the cannon ball, I have many times gotten them to sink through cannonfire alone. It is actually glorious if you can catch them in what I call a vortex. It is hard to describe, but as you (a galleon) passes the enemy (Galleon), harpooning their front side and locking will put both ships in a Pirates of the caribean 3 whirlpool of a vortex. The enemy usually does not expect this, and so aiming at the cannons first is always recommended and then hail fire on lower decks. You will be putting enough holes for the water to fill faster than they can handle.
So yeah, mastering the meneuvers of the harpooning of other ships is super good.
Thank God I found these videos. I'm so sick of rando gallys ruining hours of work because I'm not good at pvp. Time to become a pirate pvp sweat lord
This was probably the best combat guide I’ve ever seen for this game. Very well done!
Dammn this guy is a monster, those shots
changing the canon reload button to tap R Not hold R helps a lot! means you can can free up that finger to aim your next canon shot
How do you change that?
@@JJAB91 In the Settings, just read through them.
thanks for these! i just started solo slooping and these have been extremely helpful! Thank you! would love to see more of PVP tips as i struggle a lot with almost any PVP game.
this is the most straightforward tutorial Ive ever seen. Thanks a lot I will definetly come back to this video time to time
"wait that's not a skeleton ship" -famous last words
Yo cheers on your voice over work. Most of the video game youtube channels out there have terrible diction and cadence and it's insanely fatiguing to listen to. You do a great job, keep it up!
Appreciate this. I'm not trying to be over the top or anything, just trying to get the info out without messing up lol
as a newer player to the SOT, this was very helpful. Thanks for sharing your tips.
Fantastic video mate, nice to see the small Sea of Thieves channels knocking out stellar content!
Jumping ship perfectly after igniting their crows nest keg was a king move 👌👌👌 great vid
Great video, I’ve been playing this game on and off since launch but I had no idea about that harpoon locking or taking down enemy sails with a chain shot from their own cannons
Dude great guide full of usefull tips. I suscribed yesterday and I just want to say I'm very happy to see that in only 24 hours you got around a hundred subscribers. Im glad that the community acknowledge good content creators like you.
Dude that's like the nicest comment ever thank you so much
Beebs! I didn’t know you had a CZcams channel! Love your streams, man.
Since I began arena on school nights (I save adventure mode for the weekend) my cannon aim has been on point. Super entertaining, thanks!
Dude. That harpoon trick is something I need to try. Thanks again!
Wow this is a great video and this really helps. You included so many different tips. There is no CZcamsr that has a video with so many tips.
Just got the game on gamepass and your vids made me leagues better than friends who are just getting their sea legs too.
Great stuff man
This guys videos are so addicting- automatic sub.
F in the comments for the fresh spawners he sunk during the making of this...
1:36 I already did this, but it's nice that it's in a tips video so I feel like I'm on the right track to fine tuning my pvp game on the seas.
This is the best hint and tips for SoT I've seen so far....cheers
thank you so much. i had 0 idea i could lock the harpoon. this and the other tips will help a gr8 deal. im only on day 4 so thank you so much!

That’s what that sound is when I press x🤯. You just blew my mind yo. Thx
Got recommended this. Very useful info for starting my pvp escapades
I've been playing almost every day since the game was newly released. I learned 3 valuable tricks from this video.
Truly excellent vid, both informative and hilarious!...”No that’s my ship, OK GOTTA GOooo!” 😂🤣
I saw the keybind for harpoon locking in the settings but always thought it was a toggle, thanks for that information haha
really good video your channel has grown so much congrats
This is an awesome guide. Thank you!
I’m so happy I bought this game yesterday I’m so pumped to play it looks amazing. A lot to learn tho I’m guna suck for a while especially since I’m a solo
Mate your videos are awesome - brilliant tutorials.
Just started playing and this video had a lot of great info.
The last one was great, makes harpoons very useful
Love this thank you for the help keep it up and one day you will blow up man
Also, if you hold block with a cutlass while grabbing the ladder of an enemy ship it will mute the splash sound it makes
I recently got to try harpoon locking and you were damn right. Sunk five ships in less than an hour using it.
Thanks a lot for the tips, trying to get better and feel more confident in pvp situations instead of being so passive
mate, your videos are absolute quality
I know lots of combat tactics already but I did not know about harpoon locking, Thanks
Your chainshots are cracked my guy 😂🔥
Kegs are high risk high reward options. They saved us many times because we stacked them up and had multiply tries to sneak on board while being chased across the sea. Storing them on your crowsnest isnt so damaging either, sure your mast falls down but you can repair and there is only some fire on the deck.
BUT if someone knows what they are doing and board you they can use the kegs against you, so kegs are more a tool for a surprise attack or a last effort option when the enemy has outnumbered you but i would never say, dont use them ever.
7:00 that getaway was CLEAN
really good video, thanks for the tips
Very informative and very well done
finally a tip video that shows tips that i haven't known since i started playing
Another thing is that (especially in arena where you only have a few chainshots) is that if you’re trying to knock the mast down (especially on sloops where there’s only 1) aim for the crows nest
Sick video man. You should do a video on badass harpoon turn mechanics or like cannoning to forts to use their cannons on enemies. I'd watch it.
Ive always loved the pure chaos of sea of thieves
Congrats, you now have a new subscriber
Harpoon lock method looks really good, have to use that sometime.
Thanks for the advice!
awesome thx ^^ im just new to the game and i love it ... thx for the useful tips : )
This is actually a very good tipping video
you seem quite competent :) thx for the advise, I'm just about to start in the game
That harpoon thing was really helpful because I didn’t notice a big rock in the way so they crashed into the rock
Man... I'm a pioneer sea of thieves player... Been playing for so long. And u are the first I see making a short video about what so important to do and not to do. You did a great job here. It help player base to understand sea of thieves is a over cooked type game after all. Every action who can make u save even just a second can make a huge difference. My big issue is my aim. I even train every day kovaaks for fix that. I even down my sensitivity to 36cm/360. But still I miss some shoots. I have a trouble anticipating the latency and the velocity of the gun shoot. (To make it harder hitreg are off)
Also as I'm a father since 2 years I have lost a lot of playable time, rebuking me to do friend on discord. (Also because I'm in a so small house I cant talk because I would wake up my kid) I have noticed than even I train in arena regularly. The fact to don't be friend to anyone have gives me a disavantage about knowledge and pvp tips. (The double gun glitch combo, the fast reload by switching or empty hand and detain the gun again like thee digging)... This kind of glitches. And not having a discord make it hard to plan good none toxic tdm. Where every body just assume it's skills to chose double gun and force other player to double gun as well even if they more talented about sword. ( Who also need skill as well) example your dodge out ladder are a stupid usefull tip I should have figure out by myself with my knowledge. But I never thought about it and your video told me it thanks. If you can give some advanced tip video about double gun, tdm, what ever tip I might not know as many not regular players, I would appreciate ! :)
Great job in this video u really deserve subscriptions to your chanel! Gg
I love your ship.
Also thx those Tips are great!
Used that sword dash trick versus a duo sloop was very handy
If you want to calculate the shot when shooting your self to learn the arc of shooting yourself use a chainshot they are roughly the same weight so pretty much identical arc .thats how i practiced in the early days .
You just need a friend to get on board with a keg, get that keg on the crow's nest, and fire bomb. The mast will be downed instantly. You can also put interactables all over their anchor to make it harder for them to flee.
Downloading the game now, so naturally this is the video for me
Best tips I’ve ever heard
Time to use all these tips to properly defend myself from vultures! thanks you for this
Very good Tutorial.
Something I do with firebombs is when I mean to board I will stock up, and once on drop and fire their anchor, and since they have holes already and fire is now everywhere they aren’t thinking rationally to go out out the capstain their just running
great vids. ty for the knowledge.,
This man is sooooo helpful
Found you thru PhuzzyBond. Thx for the great advice!
I like to shoot a fire flask at the cannons and attempting to board, it gives a few seconds unless they are already taking on water. edit:this taking on water thing does not apply to a galleon with water in its bottom deck.
Only kegs you should have on your crows nest are mega kegs and athena kegs, with selling them being top priority. Learned the hard way.
Another good tool for getting players off your ship (especially in the crows nest) is the blunderbomb. My friend went up there and threw one, and nocked the guy right off and we were able to escape!
The harpoon locking, great tip
Absolutely a monster out there
Hi, thanks for the great video! I was just wondering, what's the benefit of using blunderbombs instead of regular cannonballs?
blunderbomb will only knock the ship around and possibly people lifting the mast up, or raising the anchor. It's not about damage, it's about cancelling what people are doing or making their ship lose their angle.
I have a tip
1: yell get out of the building
2: carry a mega keg into a building or ship
3: kaboom
congratulations 4 people under the age of 12 has liked your comment.
@@brekkis it wasnt ment to get attention its not funny
When I first started I was spending a lot of time experimenting with I discovered this after I locked on to a megladon during the tutorial and thought well it doesn't do any damage and it sticks for quite a while so.
Fire bombs could be useful for applying pressure tho, becuase they create sort of no-go zones for the enemy players and could force them to backsplash or pause bailing to extinguish the fire.
So that's what the sound is when I press x on harpoon! Thx fren!
Amazing tips!
I think I might need this because me and my friends were on a galleon and we lost to a 2 person sloop
Good tips:
1. Use a brigantine. It's the best.
2. Raise the front sail in naval combat. This allows the helmsman (driver) to control the ship using the back sail only and without help, allowing your team to stay on cannons.
3. If your steering and the cannons are occupied, snipe the opposing cannon shooter.
4. If aboard the enemy's ship, before it sinks, use their armory to switch to sniper and pistol. This is best in the water for fighting any back spawns.
I agree with 3 of these tips I don't like brigs tho because every time I play on one I end up catching an L
@@goldcase9071 i feel you. I solo sloop'd forever. it was very difficult to adjust.
@@St3akk i usually like to 2 man sloop In my opinion with a good crew a sloop can beat anything
Brigs arguably sink the fastest. They can't match up against experienced 2-man Sloop crews. Plus, the Sloop wins against Brigs in every ship stat except an extra cannon and crew member. In fact, it's well known that those Sloops flying Reaper's are the worst to fight against, the bigger your ship is.
actually helped thx!
REALLY HELPFUL
you can actually use fire bombs to create panic or like he said, blow up any kegs on board. but when i mean create panic, i mean to make the opposing crew focus on putting out the fire instead of shooting, steering, or repairing.
