A big thanks for all the Irish Fans who were there in France. Your team was good, real fighters. It was a pleasure to meet Irish people in France. Don't change, you're really perfect and that won't be the news about the Irish fans during the games who will say the contrary.

To be honest, La Marseillaise is just an awesome anthem. It's hard to not "sing" (I don't speak a word of French) along to it. One of the best anthems around and it sounds amazing in a stadium. Too bad the French fans aren't that loud when it comes to their national team. They sure know how to make noise when it comes to their own clubs. ;)

irish fans are great, when we(australia) played against ireland in limerick a couple years ago the irish fans clapped and congratulated our third goal which was a long range goal from 35 yards, i never seen that happen in international football before it shows how respectful they were that they can appreciate the good things about football.

I was at that match. Fantastic atmosphere especially for the French anthem. Swinging our scarves around. Definitely weren't being disrespectful. The French fans all applauded us for doing it. Great atmosphere. Terrible game however

It's great to see so many positive comments on the Irish fans and the Irish team from all over the world. Italy, France, Finland, Croatia, Mexico, United States etc. However, there are some negative comments and all come from the same country, the homeland of hooligans. When Irish fans travel the police in the host country can take the day off. When English fans travel the host country has to call up the army. I feel sorry for the Irish fans, team and their manager, the great Signore Trapattoni.
