Dude, that was a donkey punching! Nice fish. 5.40 is bigger than any bass I’ve caught out of the delta. Great work. Most people, I think, call that gap between the rocks and the weeds, “the trough”. Looks like it’s working for you nice work. Having that easy access kayak and water is going to be key. Seems you are getting settled!

You're starting to figure it out!! Run the bank lines.. Due to the currents there is always a weed line with that 3' - 4' gap between the rocks. They will be on either side of the weed line and they use it as cover. Some days that are on the inside (rock side) and other days they are on the deeper (channel) side. Some days you need to run a top water or chatterbait above the weedline itself.

You’re right about it tossing right up onto the rocks! I always throw wacky rigs up there because like what you said there is no grass the first few feet and then the grass starts to grow I call it an inside grass line

@@FlipNyak was everyone tired burning it? They have steel mesh on the ramp now. It’s broken and sticking up haha. Someone is going to lose a tire for sure
@CramersPage it was that steel mesh + algae that made it slippery(horrible combination imo). I ate it so bad trying to pull the yak out of there 😆. Its been a couple of years since I used that launch. I was hoping they would have gotten rid of it by now.
I've been hitting the delta every Saturday. Mostly from my boat, even though I do have pa 14.

@@CramersPage it's been a lot of junk fishing. No real pattern. I've caught them on flukes, senkos ,chatterbaits and spinner baits. No numbers. But at least one 4lber a day

@@CramersPage its good to have options. Various locations. Kayak fishing is tough. Live and die by your choice of launch.
@@PaulFerber definitely depends on where you launch. A lot of guys that fish out of a boat can’t wrap their mind around why you’re not fishing good in a kayak. It’s Hit or miss on that stretch of water. My neighbor burns a full tank of gas chasing the tide around to catch a limit some days. The delta is a crazy place
