The star that burns twice as bright burns twice as fast. This will always be one of my favorite bands of the nu metal era. They had everything I ever wanted. We miss you Bleed The Sky, these new 'core' bands ain't got shit on you and never will.

Magic. After the release of their new album and release of Noah...I still stand by my original comment. Change the name...there's no more Bleed the Sky in that band.

My old band opened for these guys back in 2005. They are awesome, and are really cool. After our set I got to hang out with them back stage and we listened to AC/DC and talked about Dio. Good times.

When this song came out I just got my new dektop pc and was playing all day long and listening to songs like this. great times when I was a kid
Nuclear Blast promoted to Bleed the Sky as a Metalcore band, because of the popularity of the genre at that time when their sound was closer to the groove metal, nu metal and industrial metal with metalcore influencies, this album was quite similar to what he did Chimaira in the Pass Out of Existence album, and some of its members are part of the new formation of Chimaira.
Both Bleed the Sky's "Minion" song as well as the song from Chimaira called "Down Again" are on the soundtrack for the movie Alone in the Dark.

I used to work with Austin, one of the band members a few years ago, he was funny as hell.
one of the best bands to ever play metal imo.
If someone had never heard black metal and wanted introduced to the genre, this is the song i'd play. And I'd play it hella loud \m/
Being a Chimaira fan, this was recommended to me. Different style but still just as brutal. I love it

I first heard this song a long time ago (abit after the Alone In The Dark movie) on the soundtrack for the AITD movie. I still like this song to this day.

Vasse VIDZ - Not even close. The only thing that makes any similarities is, that this album was recorded at same place as most Chimairas albums - in Spiders Studios with Ben Sniegel (I hope I spelled his name right :D )

I will agree there first album was very close to what Chimaira sounds like. But their new album is much more of them finding there own sound and is very good.
They guys are good, they have alot of talent, Im actually playing with one of the old guitarists now.
