- This video shows How To wire (punch down / terminate) a Keystone Jack ( rj45 modular jack / ethernet connector / keystone rj45 / patch panel Keystone / keystone jack installation).
It also explains the difference between the T568A and T568B wiring standards.
We cover everything you need to know about Keystone Jack wiring, including the correct color codes and TIA/EIA-568 wiring standards for ethernet connections. Follow along our easy-to-understand instructions and learn the punch-down technique to terminate the wires in the Keystone Jack. With our detailed guide and the use of proper tools, you'll be able to confidently wire up Keystone Jacks like a pro.
Our tutorial includes key steps such as cable stripping, identification of color-coded wires, and ensuring proper connectivity for seamless Ethernet connections. From home network setups to office networking projects, this tutorial provides valuable insights for your network installation and expansion needs.
To start, you must choose the standard you want to use: T568A and T568B are the two color codes used for wiring eight-position rj45 modular sockets (or keystone jack / keystone rj45).
Both schemes T568A and T568B are correct. T568B is by far the most common. As long as both ends of your cables are wired the same (A/A or B/B), you'll be fine.
Then all you have to do is follow the colors of the rj45 modular sockets (or keystone jack / keystone rj45).

Crossover cables with wiring A/B will often work as well. But that is no longer done today.
The golden rule is to connect both sides equally.
Yes, you are absolutely right 👍

😊😅
The "Tool Free" shielded jacks go much quicker when you have the $15 tool.
Yes indeed, that's right 👌
Hello. Pls where can I get that female jack for rj45
First of all, thanks for watching 😊
To answer your question, I don't know where you live, but you can search for a seller on Google using the keyword "keystone jack".
I hope this will help you
Thanks for your reply.
I am in Nigeria 🇳🇬
Nice to meet you
You can find it on Jumia: www.jumia.com.ng/generic-network-rj45-cat6a-cat8-keystone-jack-module-socket-full-111447613.html
