In a national security & intelligence committee of parliamentarians (NSICOP) hearing Thursday, the MP for Pickering-Uxbridge HECKLED & TRIED to talk over Conservative MP Frank Caputo as he questioned Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc about which MPs were WORKING WITH HOSTILE governments. That prompted Conservative MP Garnett Genius to ask the committee chair to call O’Connell to order, as she was BREAKING THE RULES.
“OH BOO HOO. Get over it”, she said. REALLY? Is this level of CHILDISH TANTRUMS we’ve reached in the hallowed halls of Parliament? Throw your TOYS OUT OF THE CRIB opposition politicians DEMAND your government be held to account.
We can be SURE if a majority of politicians suspected of feeding information to foreign governments were Conservative, the Liberals WOULD HAVE already read their names into Hansard, the record of Parliament.

There is also a statute specifically in the treason laws that make it an offence, if someone knows about it and doesn't report it.

Anyone who covers up for a traitor is considered complicit. The same charges of treason apply to those that do not report the actions of a traitor. Why are the RCMP not upholding the law for us Canadians. No one is above the law, so no directives from the PM's office can or should
keep the RCMP from investigating, and report their findings to the House of Commons. Unless
they just put on their uniforms every day, show up for work, collect their salaries, and don't rock the boat, till they can get their pension(s). We need to start making examples of some of these people that are not doing the job that they swore an oath to do, with jail time, pensions confiscated as proceeds of crime.

The northwest cavalryman has some really good comments about why the RCMP is not in a good position to investigate the HoC. His suggestion is that an independent agency needs to be formed to investigate all levels of government. This could be under the Auditor General maybe and not the governments of the day. So there could be no undue influence by the government in the investigations.
