This year Celtic had so many adversaries, from VAR ridiculous decisions, biased referees, appalling media coverage trying to undermine the confidence of the team. The intesity of pressure has never been so high and we have come through the victors.

Not just what was done AGAINST Celtic, you also have to consider what the establishment did FOR theRangers.....dodgy penalties when they were struggling, dodgy non-penalties not given against them. Censuring our manager for criticising a referee whilst their manager was allowed to do the same without issue.
Did our best to throw it away, but can't complain. Just shows how a game can completely change on one small touch - it was a completely different game after Hatate gave the ball away at that corner. Absolutely over the moon. We still have a few things to look at especially with the final in mind and, can't go through another window without much needed strengthening. Matt was fantastic as usual but Jamesy is long overdue for more appreciation. The baby faced veteran was invaluable. A lot to talk about going forward but wonderful result. Need to remember they were fighting for the league at the end. Regardless of how shite they are (and they’re shite) any team in their position would throw absolutely everything at it in the end and it’s a testament to us that we got through it. A lot is said every season about how the Rangers are catching up
Celtic this season have been quite average really, they've been disjointed, struggling with injuries, very average signings, Asian Cup, new manager, new tactics, a drop in fluency and intensity, confusion about tactics.
I think Celtic have been at about 70%, and that was still good enough.
God help them if Celtic get to 90%-100%

Scales a bit ponderous on the ball at times, he can be decisive and drive forward when there’s pressure in front of him but given time he labours a bit. Weak not getting up to contest the header for sevcos goal.
Johnston was good for the first 20mins but Silva figured him out after that. Taylor good for about an hour then lost the plot in both defence and offence.
Everyone else had a good game. Matty, Reo and Jamesy Forrest very good for large parts of the game. Kuhn good when he came on. Maeda, what an athlete. CalMac just a genius. Lundstrum could have been MotM for the Bhoys haha

Is it just me who thought scales played well? He cleared so many balls, got back and made interceptions and made a few decent passes give the guy a break .
The muppet wanted rid of Scales not happy with top of the League . Scales is not perfect but he is improving and puts in a shift
Scales has done well this year but going forward he's no better than a back up if your honest. Time for Brendan and the board to improve the starting 11 significantly and spend some money
Scales long term not good enough especially for the champions league. He’s had a good season but teams are targeting that area with Taylor and we have lost goals to Aberdeen and again today. We need to improve those 2 positions

Let’s be completely honest. It’s been a long hard season. Losing ange and his style, Jota and Abada. Rodgers has came in. We’ve struggled at times but, albeit a miracle, will be champions again. To win it like after being poor for the vast majority of the season just shows the class that’s here. If they can’t beat us at our poorest (for a while) what chance have they got. Sore one for them. Party time 🥳
That win just made us £60m with entry into the revamped CL. Add on the likely transfer fees for O'Relly and Frimpong and we will have a large transfer budget for the summer rebuild. In fact we could spend £30m from our transfers and bank the £60m to add to the £70m already in the bank.
I had £50 on Celtic to win that game. I was close to a heart attack in that last ten minutes

You cant say the left side of the defence was bad and not mention Johnston was getting run ragged by Silva, Johnston is a poor defender and his postioning is more often than not very poor. Yes taylor is poor but johnston isnt much better tbh. Hatate was a man down today and seems to sturggle in these fast paced games. Should have won by five today and really need to take our chances in the cup final as for some reason we always let them back into the game.

Lawell will be bitterly disappointed that his anti-Celtic plan has failed. Remember when he said that the club didn't spend on transfers last year because they were 'banking' the money for the time when we missed out on C.L. qualy. We got 3 points and that is above all else. Out of 12 available points from four Glasgow derby games they managed 1 point and we took ten. We started strong but finished not so strong. O'Riley should have had a hat trick. James Forrest was our top player for me. Taylor and scales have had better games but not many. I have been saying for a long time that Lindstrom is one big dirty donkey and he got what he deserves today although it was a neat finish to put us 2 up😅 did big Joe make a save 🤔 perhaps not. However we played better when they had 11 on the pitch. Their goal came about by us not looking after the ball properly and some Micky mouse defending. Hatate started ok but fell away quite badly. We generally bossed them and did indeed have fun at the end. Celtic serial winners against serial losers. Well done all at the world famous Glasgow Celtic.
