  • Hello and welcome,
In today's video, we will show you how to remove the Fiat 500 dash parts, particularly the Radio, center dash air vents, large dash trim, and Heater AC fascia control panel.
First Part of the video we will be removing the Radio and subsequently the Vents (to remove the vents you need to remove the radio out of position)
First, we will need to remove the 4 little covers on the radio, with 4 tools or makeshift tools put them inside the small circle holes to unclip the radio as it's held on by clips. This process can be easy but also difficult and will require proper technique and patience.
If the radio is unclipped properly, the radio will slide out easily, so do not try to force it. I have shown multiple ways of doing this process.
After the radio is out, unplug the radio plugs. The vents are held on by two screws located behind the radio. After these are removed, small clips to the top of the vents can be detached with a plastic tool.
    Minute 5:36,
The second part of the video removes the Heater AC control fascia panel and large dash trim. To remove the dash trim, remove the Heater AC control panel Fascia. To remove the panel I like to turn all the dials to 1 side either left or right. With a plastic tool, partially remove one side and move around to remove the panel. To unplug you will need to remove the 3 torx screws to be able to unplug. To remove the dash trim, there are two Torx screws located below the Heater AC control panel fascia. Then with a plastic tool pull out the dash trim and unplug.
Refitting is following the steps taken in this video in reverse order.
I hope you have found this video helpful,
