I'm glad Cameron committed to using the "I'll" line versus the non-conjugated version "I will." It shows the technological advances that Skynet achieved to allow their machines to use conjugations.
It showed that the terminator understood slang. Robots were always shown in movies to speak robotically. When he says it like that, he’s mimicking humans to appear human.
That's NOT slang, just a mere contraction. He was NOT good at slang , therefore John in T2 saying, 'are we learning yet', 'hasta la vista', etc.
