I’m gonna cry tears of joy and sadness knowing that not only are we FINALLY getting Deadpool and Wolverine together played by Ryan and Hugh, but also that I’m gonna have to say goodbye to Hugh as Wolverine again. I barely recovered from Logan.

The hilarious thing about this Cassandra Nova appearance is that she looks, especially in the scene where she is puppeting Wolverine, a LOT like her creator Grant Morrison.
Specifically in Grant’s appearances as a villain in two My Chemical Romance videos.
To me, her character is a bit reminiscent to Tilda Swinton’s “The Ancient One”

Based on what Paradox says ("This Wolverine let down his entire world"), could this be a Wolverine that failed his *Days of Future Past* mission? Those tomb looking things look a lot like what the future Sentinels arrive in during the final future fight. JMO

Counter Theory: This was a Wolverine was not only an X-Man, but an Avenger as well. A major crisis event happened ( Thanos or Apocalypse or something of similar threat) and he was the only survivor because of his healing factor. He has major survivors’ guilt and feels he could have done more and now he’s all alone.
What really gets me is the smile Wolverine gives Deadpool after threatens to shoot him in the head. I feel like Wolverine is going to saying something like “F’ing do it. You’d be doing me and everyone a favor”

I think it IS going to be a cameo-fest. A marvel exec recently said they asked EVERYONE who has ever been in an X-Men film if they wanted to be in this one, because it appears to be set in the Void.

This trailer concept is basically what they did with Daredevil S2 - first trailer was all about Punisher and ending introduced Elektra. Second trailer was all about Hand and Elektra, basically picking off from the first trailer ending. This seemed to follow similiar pattern tbh

I have a theory that this Wolverine was not only a member of the X-Men, but he was an Avenger as well (like the comics). Some major earth threatening event happened (Thanos, Phoenix, Apocalypse, etc) and now he is the only surviving hero from both teams due to his healing factor. He has major survivors guilt and feels he could’ve done more.
I thought the EXACT same thing when I saw that portal, it would completely fit the Deadpool writing style and would be so perfect of an opportunity

I would kill for just 1 moment in Secret Wars where Wade and Jennifer Walters make a sarcastic look at the camera at the same time, notice they both did it and then overlap saying “Did you just look at them?” “Thats MY thing!” “Holy shit!” “You wanna get outta here?!” Cut to Deadpool and She-Hulk getting lit and partying their ass off Madisynn in one of the wilder Battleworlds! Can you imagine how funny that would be? So many great moments they can cultivate!
Deadpool would definitely love Madisynn! I'd love for the whole of MCU to "lighten up" a bit and just do small random shit with Deadpool.
That would be some brilliant writing. With all that “saying the same thing” stuff, I think it would be funny if Jennifer joking says “did we just finish each others….” And waits for DP to respond, and after a long pause, he goes “…you want me to say fucking sandwiches, don’t you? God damn it, Feige!” It’s lame but I still think it would be funny.

My big dream was that I would also finally get to see Hugh's biggest and most epic crossover in the MCU. Now it is possible for always having remained calm, and never having lost affection for hugh and ryan. They really are and they look so beautiful.🔥🔥💛💛❤❤

The bonkers thing is that between this, the previous trailer and the 9 minutes of con footage, we've probably only seen stuff from like the first half hour, 45 minutes of this thing.
I thought of similiar thing. Cassandra Nova seems either to be "fake" villain, or we literally see them escape her in this first moment and then find them all fighting her later in another fight.
So it seems kind off like endgame marketing. Makes me even more hyped - its clear anti-tease of all the cameos we heard off
According to director James Mangold, _Logan_ was set in 2029 specifically because _Days of Future Past_ was set in 2023. It was intended to be the future of the new timeline Wolverine created in DoFP, although I think someone else working on the film also stated it was an alternate timeline, hence the confusion.
It's not just Deadpool who would swear a lot, Logan does too, so a movie about these two together is gonna be filled with F bombs

the flashback of wolverine reminds me of the sentinel battles in the comics. the vibes of this movie is like the best pieces of all the comics and films and just fuse them together once and for all

What about the thought of "This Wolverine let down his entire world" is referring to the incident mentioned in LOGAN where Charles kills many of the XMen during one of his seizure moments.
or when Wolverine kills all the X-Men in Old Man Logan.
Or when hugh jackman retired from the role Wolverine let to the downfall of 20th Fox, destroyed everything's Fox-verse.

The idea with them randomly appearing in Endgame battle by jumping through one of the portals in the background is just as awesome as it is hilarious idea xD Most important moment in mcu and Deadpool with Wolvie are like "wtf is going on" xD I wouldnt be suprised if in such moment they kill Thanos by themselves by accident or something xD After all Wolverine and Deadpool will both be equipped with Adamantium (claws & katanas), which none of the endgame heroes had, so Im interested to see if it could make quick work of Thanos that didnt expect it in that specific timeline xD Deadpool cutting up Thanos head as corny as it sounds somewhere in the background of the fight would be some hilarious "what if" shit

My guess is Deadpool shoots him in the head in the bar. The adamantium stops him from dieing, but the kinetic effect still gives him a concussion and knocks him out. The company Deadpool is working for puts Wolverine in his uniform, gives a biased explanation to Deadpool, and drops them off somewhere. Wolverine wakes up ans we have the first real fight.
A lot of people are missing the Foggy mention at the end which means another potential Daredevil appearance
I think Adam is mostly right…we will probably see another trailer a few weeks before the film but it will be Cassandra focused. The first trailer teased Wolverine, Second trailer teased Cassandra, so I think the third will highlight her position in the story.
When they guys are walking down the street that looks like a warzone, the shop right behind Wolverine bears Deadpool's creator Rob Leifeld's name.
1. If Nova is young, I wonder if the young Xavier will show with James McAvoy playing him.
2. If this version of Wolverine let down his entire world, what if Deadpool takes him back in time to fix his world. Like being able to see old school X-men cakes come up from the past. Maybe even Wolverine vs Hulk?
3. I see Deadpool taking over as Stan Lee used to do cameos. Deadpool can now just randomly show up.
I have to admit, just seeing Hugh Jackman as Wolverine again in this trailer felt far more satisfying than all of Phases 4 & 5 put together.
My guess is this Logan is from a world where Old Man Logan happened but they subbed out Mysterio for Cassandra Nova since they already used Mysterio. She wanted revenge on Charles so made Wolverine kill all the X-men.

I don't think that's how he failed, cuz that would mean Sentinels would be everywhere enslaving everyone. I think he might've killed all of the X-Men in a fit of rage/mind control and it made their world unable to stop that universe's Thanos and the snap was never undone. Because regular humans KNOW who he is.

Finally a reviewer who knows Old Man Logan really well! I think you are absolutely right but I think it’s going to follow old man Logan even closer than you think. We will see wolverine kill the X-men because of mysterio and we might even see red skull wearing the mask of iron man based on the new hood ornament on the red skull car. No matter what it looks great. You guys are awesome!

we never got a proper continuation of the reset timeline when wolverine came back from the events of days of future past, I wonder if something disrupted the peace of that timeline and that is where this wolverine came from

My Theory is that they are adapting some of the old man logan comic....instead of mysterio tricking wolverine into killing the x-men....Cassandra nova will be the one to trick wolverine into killing the x-men which is why the bartender says wolverine isn't welcome ANYWHERE...the world hates wolverine for killing the x-men
You guys were talking about cameos and playing with the lore reminded me a lot of when Disney brought out Lilo and Stitch. They did a bunch of different little clips where Stitch would bop around into various classic cartoons and start trouble. My favorite was when he flies his little red spaceship into the flying carpet scene of "Aladdin" and lures off Jasmine from Aladdin. And all the other mainstream characters would yell at him to get his own movie! There were even three posters, first Stitch in his "dog" form with all the characters looking at him, the second he is in his "true" form and they are all staring at him, and the third where he is still there and all you see of the others are their fleeing behinds. And that was decades ago.

Logan said by the people who made it when they made it is its own thing because it wasn’t supposed to conflict with the prequel universe they had going on which was supposed to eventually lead to the days of future past ending. If you remember the movie ends with charles saying to Logan what do you remember and then explaining to him the events of the movie’s apocalypse, and dark phoenix. The biggest problem with the X-men verse is they didn’t do a good job telling people when movies were supposed to be their own things.
Cassandra and the others are at the Void...where everything gets sent when pruned. Pretty much ALL of the "wasteland" scenes are from there. They're going to give us a lot more of it than we got in Loki (because there are obviously plenty of survivors)...and I'm hoping we see Renslayer in this at some point as a result.
When Wolvie and DP are jumping into the Sorcerer's portal, they're jumping out of one of Gi-Ant Man's eye sockets...and when the view swaps from behind, Alioth is in the background headed toward them.
Odds are...before Loki changed the TVA...Cassandra "won" her battle with Charles in some universe, and the TVA pruned her. While there, she's been gathering power and trying to find a way to get out of the Void. Her power is sufficient to keep Alioth at bay, but so far they're all still stuck there.
It's probable that the TVA needs her dealt with, but her powers aren't something that even their tech can cope with for whatever reason (they can't turn her off, like they could Loki and others). But, they also can't just turn other super-beings loose on her, either. So, they're basically sending an unkillable pair to deal with her. They may not win (in the eyes of the TVA)...but she also can't kill them, so they'll just keep going after her.
Her way out probably has something to do with the fact that Loki changed everything, so now the void serves no purpose and may not be the "one-way-trip" that it used to be. So now she's working on a specific way to get out, and she's about to succeed.
I'm getting major 'E is for Extinction' and 'Old Man Logan' vibes.
I think it’s beyond that it’s “before Logan” I think this is literally not the Logan we knew. A different guy from a different universe. He didn’t even know Wade/Deadpool when he got to him at a bar. And the TVA said “this Wolverine” as in he’s not from the same world as Wade

I was in 2nd Grade when I first saw "Slaughterhouse Five" and from then on "Rated R" to me meant bare breasts on attractive girls, not profanity and violence. I heard profanity at home and I saw violence too, so I didn't think of it as for adults only. 😮

It could be that the first logan we see in the bar is LOGAN back in time, he doesn't cooperate and is shot and because he has slower regen Deadpool deems him worthless and goes to another Logan in another universe, a younger one.
My takeaway also was this is the Wolvie from Old Man Logan. The line at the beginning from the bartender "you're not welcome anywhere" was a setup. Also, I think Cassandra Nova will play the Mysterio role. Plus, I think this is a send-off of the Fox X-men universe (which apparently got pruned), so the cameos will be limited to those characters. I think that also is the stakes for Deadpool and his home universe, like he is the Meta representation of the Fox Disney merger. And to think this could also be ultimately an incursion event? Mind blown.

I wish this movie was a variant of Immortal, because there he has a problem with claws and in the deleted scene he gets the yellow uniform
