    A personal favourite of mine from their entire discography, along with I Hear Talk and When We Were Young.
    Such a criminally underrated and overlooked hidden gem.

    The first Bucks Fizz single that failed to make the UK top 40 charts at the end of 1983 but still think it was one of their best productions.

    Another great track. Should have been a hit. Bucks Fizz were not known in North America. They certainly remind me of Abba.

    Loved this tune, used to go in to the local pub and put 50p in the video juke box and watch it every time I went in, miss those days immensely and the music.

    This was a great track, not known as one of their big hit, but a great song. Cheryl on lead, very Hazel O Connor in breaking glass! not like how we are used to seeing her and a big dollop of toyah about her.

    Sad to think that this was the final single before the group became a Bobby solo project with the others relegated to BVs and the occasional album track. That decision really harmed them.

    I remember Cheryl saying in an interview that cos the song and vid are quite serious and frowny, she had to try not to think of funny stuff that would make her laugh. During a recent Facebook live chat, she said she likes the song but thinks her affected vocal on the first verse sounds a bit stupid!

      @@catgirlKL Me too, Oh Suzanne is the same. Their Warren Bacall stuff is very Eurythmics. I liked Cheryl’s kind of androgynous styling in ‘83 too, with her slicked back hair, very Annie Lennox. There’s a tv performance of Rules too, the disco championships or something, where she looks like Phil Oakey from the Human League, with her hair longer on one side. Rules is about as far from Making your mind up and Land of make believe as you’re gonna get!
