Looking at that 'water bottle' im not sure if we can fully trust his answers tho. Still healthier then steves water bottle by the looks of it, Size isn't everything.
Drinking Gin out of the bottle, with a straw... Keeping it classy Leo.
Most thorough video review of the NR200 I've encountered, and I've searched a lot. Talks about the necessary yet not much discussed topic of cooling and various configurations in this case in excellent detail. Thumbs up!
Top shelf review Leo. Thank you for taking the time to make it.
That back wall of parts breaks my heart every time *sobs*. Keep up the great work guys! I really like this little case.
great video - extremely thorough with the diff configs. keep up the good work.
Really appreciate this review and demonstration. I'm looking forward to actually being able to see this unit in stock.
Wow absolutely amazing review. Can't believe this is the first video in watching from this channel! Great work very detailed. Keep it up!
This video is amazing! I love how much detail you went into. tyvm.
This is the only review I've seen with a sensible cooling solution, very good review!
Excellent review and demonstrations of all types. Thank you.
You are the first to show us all of the options for installations in this case and there are many
First time seeing a video from this channel. I’d say this is one of the best reviews I’ve seen for the Cooler Master NR200P
amazing review! thank you for testing out even the different configurations!
very good and wide analysis of all options available !!! great content
A very thorough review of this case, excellent... looks like Cooler Master really nailed it!!!
Okay, you've earned yourself a subscriber with this one! Absolutely excellent and thorough review, with the sprinkling of dry humour!
I also subscribed after this review. Totally agree on this.
Really impressed with the layout options in this case!
Thanks for showing the WD 4TB Red mount options, Leo - that's exactly my drive, and really appreciated. Cheers.
This is the quite frankly, the best case review I've seen in a long while. Top job. Keep it up!
gamers nexus does some good ones but this is thorough too.
“Tech Jesus Himself” - LMAO
Absolutely brilliant reviewe paying attention to every detail. It's time to come up with a mini air-conditioning unit and feeding ice cold air into these tiny builds.
Totally love this casing, mine is the white version. Very pleased with the build.
Very professional,enjoyed immensely,thank-you...
Best review of this case. Leo really covers all the basis.
Leo, your a legend mate....loved the Bombay Sapphire quip! great case great review mate
This video is incredibly informative, nice job!
Great review, although it could have more content about air coolers as well since they are a great option for this very versatile case. It' s possible to go for air coolers with 120mm fans. According to the specs, it can fit air coolers up to 155m high, but other youtubers managed to fit slightly taller air coolers like Noctua NH-12A and CM Hyper 212 without any mod or workaround. I have a NR200 and I wanted a Scythe Fuma 2 for it, but it was out of stock everywhere in my country, so I went with a Mugen 5 Rev B. The balance between thermal performance and noise level is very good! My PC is very quiet and temps are really good!
Don't worry too much about Tech Jesus, Leo. When it comes to case reviews, you're one of the best.
Just built me a portable in the Silverstone SG13 but think I may move it into one of these cases at some point actually. Looks awesome. Cheers
Mine comes in tomorrow, I'm stoked. First gaming build coming soon
what a lovely little case
Thanks for the review. Looks very modular, and I see that it's very reasonably priced at my local supplier.
Dark case against dark shirt is a bit hard to see by the way.
Very helpful - thank!
Thank u for reviewing......hope it enters indonesia market, very limited model for ITX case...
Nice review
Great tie in with Steve 😂
Very nice SFF case 👍
Great video!
So for clarity, if I may: Can you mount a 240mm AIO and a 3.5" hard drive on top of the PSU bracket at the same time? One of your angles makes me think the answer is 'yes'.
Thanks!
Been watching your reviews for a week or two now, this one has me subb'd. You should do potentiality for all of your case reviews - like would three 140mm fans fit in the front of the Pure Base 500DX?(I have one arriving literally as I am typing this and my bet is that they do sans 2 potential screws)
Evenly paced, slower, and break downs where you show all the different angles of a case like this are awesome and you do them well. I look forward to seeing future case content.
Can't remember where i read this, but someone said that while 3x140mm fans fit, 420mm radiators do not
@@ivanbrasla Yeah, we will see how this goes. I just want Leo to remember to cover some of this stuff that other channels do not really get to.
gold standard for reviews
I caught the white NR200 on sale at Amazon for $65 USD. Went with a air cooler build, using 2 Noctua fans in the top, 2 slim Scythe fans in the base, and 2 fans in the side bracket. Running a Ryzen 7 2700x with the Wraith Prism cooler with 16gb of Crucial 3600mhz memory. Still using an ancient Zotac GTX1070 GPU until prices come back to MSRP. All of it powered with a Cooler Master 650 gold SFX power supply. What an easy case to build with, all the panels are so easy to remove and replace.
Bombay straight with a straw outta da bottle is a gentlemen's drink of choice
I don't how he able to survive if he drinks the whole bottle while watching GN (Stop Doing It Wrong: How to Kill Your CPU Cooler (AIO Mounting Orientation))
Bombay Sapphire, yuk! It's Gordon's or Beefeater for me.
just bought the case because of your review, thank alot, now have to find parts for it, about AIO, in long run would it hurt putting radiator below the pump? or I should just buy custom loops to be save
Thumbnail perfect
nr200p comes with 2 mesh panels + glass panel or just glass and mesh on left side ?
Did you do any thermal testing with the Alphacool Eisbaer LT92? Can't seem to find any proper reviews on this cooler, considering pairing it with a 9900k in the nr200p.
For custom water cooling, could you use an EK FLT 120mm reservoir in place of the cylinder reservoir for extra room to work with?
Scan say this case comes with two side dust filters as well as the top and bottom ones but I haven't seen any reviews that show the side dust filters. Also do you have any recommendations on which mobo to pair with maybe the Rysen 5 5600x? I was hoping to find an up to date one which doesn't require a bios update to set up. I'm guessing I may have to get a Rysen 5 3600 or something.
this guy is fucken amazing, he tried his best to really do everything of capable of this case! amazing and keep doing what ure doing and you will get far!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do you get both side panels with the NR200P?
i really want this case
good luck finding one
With an SFX (non L) you have the option to fit two fans up top?
I ordered a CM NR200 over a month ago on Amazon and I'm still waiting for it to ship! It's the last part I need for my system too lmaooo
Gigabyte have just updated the specs of their Master/Xtreme Aorus 3080 cards: L=319 W=140 H=70 mm.
The NR200 specs show a limit of 60mm but there’s still quite a bit of space at the bottom. Do you think a 70mm thick card will fit without the fans being too close to the bottom panel?
literally the only video I've seen that shows me if the panels are switchable from glass to vented
Leo if you can use an graphic equaliser on your microphone (like using ableton live), Do a V cut and completely cut off frequency 5000KhZ, left side of the the V should be above 4300Khz and the right side of the V 6000hz.
your S's are really hissy. Cutting out 5000khz will fix this
Leo here: Technically you are quite correct however my take on this is that my voice simply does not agree with a Lav mic that is essentially pointing up my nose. This has been a frustrating few months however I have a plan ...
@@KitGuruTech watched a fair amount of videos featuring you Leo. Seems like this issue is really recent? I am one of the more sensitive people to issues like this and the S' cut right through me in this vid. Couldn't finish it, hope you manage to sort it!
@@KitGuruTech Cool, i just thought id mention, i meant hz. not khz.
i have this case and i would suggest having the layout with the radiator on the side and the gpu at the bottom its less noisy
I have my 240mm AIO on the bottom of this case and it runs veeeery cool
Scythe FUMA 2 fits without the hard drive/radiator bracket installed on the side.
Mugen 5 as well
Actually, now that I have the NR200P I've noticed the Mugen 5 is just a hair too tall if using the glass panel, maybe 1-2mm. It closes but not completely flush. No problem with the mesh panel though.
@@o0m0j Hey, I hope you see this comment - I'm super confused about the case, does it come with both the glass and aluminum panels in the box?
@@ai_baggs The NR200p has both panels but the NR200 only has the metal panel.
@@o0m0j Thank you dude, it's probably going to be my case for my upcoming 5000 series ryzen build :)
does the NR200P also comes with both vented panels plus the TG on top of that?
Have you done a review of the old HAF XB EVO?
They are a bit long in the tooth and could use a refresh but apparently, they are still making them.
I wonder if you can turn the back panel upside down so the GPU will be on top
Is NR200P includes a vented panel along with the tempered glass?
Hello, I really admire your setup and I'd like to create something similar. However, I've purchased a 7900XT with a length of 313 mm. Could you please tell me the length of your GPU? would the 313 mm GPU fit in the NR200P? Thank you for your assistance.
I'm planning on doing my next build as a mini ITX. This case looks like it could be a contender, but I would've liked to hear if it would accomodate the upcoming RTX3080
Could you mount a hard drive to the mesh side panel?
Has anyone thought of creating holes on the TG panel if it's possible without breaking it. Might provide air + look inside
is it possible to do push pull on the bottom radiator?
can it fit a 240 radiator and a 3.5 hdd in the psu bracket ?
any thermal data with those 92mm AIO?
Compatibility of the side 240mm radiator with a 3.5 hard drive?
Great video but it would have been epic using a DTX board ryzen build. Also loving the 92mm aio.
But where do you buy it in the UK? I can find no one who has it in stock.
will the noctua c14 cooler fit inside this?
Can you benchmark the rear 92mm aio cooler please.
How about using a slim fan at the top to get more clearance at the psu? Nf12x15 comes to mind
Hi Leo, where did you find those cooler master example builds? That the only place I’ve seen written that the AIO radiator can be mounted at the bottom as long as it’s a Master Series AIO. I can’t find these on the CM website.
They are pages from the reviewer's guide. If they haven't been used elsewhere, such as the CM website, that is something of a shame as they put a lot of work into the guide and photos.
For sure, they need to be on their website to stop this bottom radiator misinformation.
I’ve got mine mounted exactly as per the CM example without any issues so far.
cooler masterpiece
were their any problems using the 92 mm radiator?
2b fair: the gpu at the bottom has to suck fresh air though the dustfilter. This could potentally result in higher temps compared to the vertical setup, where no filter is present. That said, ether way I expect dust accumulation over time due to the lack of a dustfilter on the intake side panel. Could this affect kitguru's recommendation regarding the product?
Are you dense? There are dust filters on the side.....
To be clear, the NR200p comes only with the glass panel, and not with both the Mesh and glass panel right?
I just got this case along with corsair sf750, i'm gonna build it in upcoming days. Is there no way to use both top fans with this sfx psu?
Fine with SFX, not with SFX-L
Do you get both the glass and ventilated side with the NR200P or do I have to get the basic NR200 version? Asking since I can only find the NR200P to preorder from my country, I might have to preorder it from Germany or UK and that makes it not so much of a value buy any longer :(
The cheaper NR200 is supplied with the ventilated panel (no glass), 1x120mm fan and 1x92mm fan. The more expensive NR200P has both glass and ventilated panels, 2x120mm fans and no 92mm fan.
@@KitGuruTech Nice! Gonna preorder it from a retailer in my country then. Hoping they get back in stock anytime this year ;) Thanks for the answer!
so a side mounted radiator is ok?
00:20 Nicely edited. ☺👌
Idk why but i fucking love this guy
hi, from where can i buy this case?
How about the Thermalright Silver Soul 135 air cooler? I haven't tried it yet (will soon), but their measurements have it at 135mm high, which should fit this case with the TG cover.
If the air tower is exhausting to the rear, isn't it drawing in all that hot air expelled from the GPU inside the case? Someone else on YT (JSyntax) had his tower draw air in from the rear of the case. It will still get some exhaust from the GPU, but maybe not as much...?
With the tempered glass panel the best airflow config I’ve had success with is
Rear intake, bottom intake, top exhaust
I’m using **scythe fuma 2 rev.B.** Cpu cooler
It **just** fits inside without touching the tg panel
I’ve got the fans on the cooler running as intake as there is no other place to pull in cool air for the cpu
The top fans are running exhaust
And I added two slim 120mm as bottom intakes since the gpu restricts how tall those intakes can be
Playing Elden ring for a couple of hours my cpu temps now hover around 65C which is down roughy 10c when the cooler was set to exhaust
I have a 5600x on a mild over clock to 4.2
And a 3080 gaming trio
On an itx platform with a tempered glass panel and a hot and humid Texas summer I’d say that’s pretty good.
I have all noctua fans in this case, even swapped the fans on the scythe for good measure
I have 3 slims and 3 regular
Their models are NF-A12x15 and NF-Ax25 respectively
There is still some tweaking I can do I think
Now that there are 135mm tall dual tower coolers from Thermalright and ID Cooling, and the 145mm tall Noctua D12L available it may be time to look at other air cooling options in this case. Thank you.
Where can we buy one in the UK?
i think 2 cooler bottom, 2 top and gpu direct on the mainboard will run really good with glas to.
Really good video and the tech Jesus joke was funny
Will asus prime b450 m-k fit in this chassie???
Would love to do a budget build with this case. So sexy!
Is it a PCI-e 4.0 riser cable?
As mentioned elsewhere, no. Also, we remain unclear whether Gen 4.0 risers are really a thing or not.
Best setup if you can:
Noctua C14S with a 120mm fan underneath and 140mm on the side panel right above it
SFX PSU on the correct notch
Another 140mm fan on the side panel
2 slim or regular 120mm fans on the bottom depending on GPU, intake
2 slim or regular 120mm fans on the top exhaust
i7 8700k and RTX 3080 founders is quiet with this setup even at full gaming load with the gpu undervolted (undervolted but still runs at stock or slightly above stock clocks) and gpu fan capped to 50%. GPU temp never goes above 62 degrees, CPU floats around 50 or so.
6:50 since when are hard drive and ssd screws different? Is this a case screw specific thing or have I been doing it wrong?
Feel free to pitch in here but - without checking - SSDs use metric M3 while 3.5-inch HDD use UNC Freedom Units/Imperial
@@KitGuruTech Although there are numerous manufacturers of computer cases, they have generally used three thread sizes. The Unified Thread Standard (UTS) originates from the United States, while the ISO metric screw thread is standardized worldwide. In turn, these thread standards define preferred size combinations that are based on generic units-some on the inch and others on the millimetre.
The #6-32 UNC screws are often found on 3.5" hard disk drives and the case's body to secure the covers. The M3 threaded holes are often found on 5.25" optical disc drives, 3.5" floppy drives, and 2.5" drives.
Is that the tech jesus video about the aio's and I am seeing an aio on the bottom there ?
Radiator can only be mounted in the bottom or to the side using the bracket which means using the mesh side panel not the glass one.
Exactly. Head over to KitGuru.net and you will see there is a very specific note about that configuration. It all depends on the type of cooler you use if the rad is in the floor.
@@KitGuruTech I went to the website and I didn't find it. In fact, there's only a small note about the release this case back in July.
