    Feels like Bo Katan intends to ride the Mythosaur and become the ruler of these new Mandalorians and make them remove their helmets, at least in the presence of other Mandalorians.

    This felt like we got 2 episodes at once! The half with Dr. Pen Pershing and Elia Kane was VERY intriguing. I actually did believe at the end that Elia had Pen’s back but then she upped the voltage on that mind flayer and then just stared at him with those scary ass eyes. My theory is that she is trying to break Pen’s faith in the New Republic by making it seem like they are torturing him while she takes advantage of his naïveté. Katy O’Brian definitely stole the show this episode, hope she gets more roles out of this. Also Pershing is sadly the most vulnerable and tragic type of scientist, the kind that loves the science and wants to use it for good but gets manipulated into having their research used for evil purposes.
    As for Din and Bo, now that Bo is essentially homeless and Din has redeemed himself in the eyes of his sect of Mandalorians I’m very interested in seeing where he goes from here. And Bo has now been “redeemed” since she has also bathed in the living waters (which I’m very curious about those waters because that glow was very alarming) and since she is now back with a new clan what’s her next move?

      I was already getting Andor vibes in this episode, but the moment Elia Kane began to torture Pershing, her eyes? Dedra Meero right there

    I think that the Living Waters glow because they are connected to the Force 🤔🤯🤩! Also, this episode confirms that the Armorer has been pouring some of the Living Waters into her forge quench to bless the armor she forges 🤯🤩!

    I don't think bo katan cares about the dark saber anymore. The mythosaur has way more power and meaning then the Dark Saber. Din Djarin doesn't seem to care about seeking power.

    Bo is the only Mandalorian who's allegiance right now is not truly known and because she's now been redeemed she has to wear the helmet at all times. So now we can't see her face and know what's really going on with her so we are in the dark as much as anyone in the show as to what she's really thinkling. Well done showrunners.

    I think Dustin's guess can be right. In Rebels, Thrawn had and idea to make large TIE fighter fleets, each fighter more robust, with jumper space devices in them and havier weaponary. He mentions it would be more effective for the Empire, but the Emperor chose to build the Death Star. And we see these Thrawn's TIE attacking Bo. They are 3-bouble-pointed-wing shape, like an Y. Check out the Rebels Episode, Sabine destroyed some of them. Love your reactions and videos, greetings from Brazil

    I think it was only all "convenient" because she did set it all up.
    I thought maybe that was why when Pershing told her, let's go get it, she was, 'ok, tomorrow night' instead of tonight. Because she first had to tell people something like, 'it's just as I was afraid of, he's still under the spell of the empire and he wants to continue his research', and for them to be able to proceed with his "treatment", they'd need proof so they have to "catch him in the act". So other stuff she had to set up was like cushions for where they will land jumping off the train, and making sure they won't be stopped and questioned on the way there (like when Pershing was being obviously nervous looking at the guard in the station, etc.), and maybe even making sure there are no visible guards guarding the ship. Who knows, maybe there normally are guards stationed there, just not that night to make sure he won't chicken out. 🤪
    What I'm not sure of yet is if this was really the end for Pershing, if he'll be like a vegetable after this or something, or if the procedure will allow her to kind of plant ideas in his head and make him work for her moving forward.
    Or perhaps she just really needed to get the stuff he needed (mobile lab materials) for someone else, and used him to be able to get it without anyone becoming suspicious of her.

      Ooh! Apparently the Mandalorian child in the season premiere, the one whose ceremony was interrupted by that gator turtle monster, he has a name: Ragnar 🤔. I saw a short on CZcams about it, and there's talk of whether or not he is Paz Vizsla's biological son or a Foundling in his care, which would explain why the camera pointed towards him like a proud father and was *_extremely protective_* towards him 🤔.

    This episode reminded me of the importance of Andor. It has taken many elements from Tony Gilroy's great series. It's serious, it's ambiguous, it's got intrigue, bureaucracy, politics, realism. Aesthetically, the city is a cross between Lang's Metropolis and a futuristic fairground. The photography is cool and the pace, in the second story, is calm but never stops. Very good.

    Mythosaur riding? I'm not ready to make that prediction yet. Here is the prediction I will make: we will see Bo Katan square off with the armorer. If I'm right about who the armor is, she is an old enemy of Bo's from the clone wars. She used to be aligned with Darth maul, and fought against Bo Katan and the Jedi.

    I didn't like the first 2. But I still love this show.. And this episode was very good in my opinion... I hope they keep longer like this, and have actually scenes like with the scientist and the former Gideon officer.. That was great between them two, I feel like sometimes star wars gets lost into the heavy action stuff and this more along the lines of ANDOR....good episode. Best one so far... And Dustin, did I hear Sith music in the background , in a few of those scenes with the scientist??

    I liked this episode, but, I think, because, both stories were SO unrelated, they should have been two separate episodes. Both stories had enough going on to justify it, and, I mean, would anyone complain about getting an extra episode?

    • @moondog3056
      @moondog3056 Před rokem +2

    • @Rezinstance
      @Rezinstance Před rokem

      We don't know that they are unrelated as of yet, there are still 5 more episodes to go and, if we know Dave Filoni, nothing goes to waste. I fully expect something from the Pershing story to come back in some form, if not this season, then the next, or (possiblly even more probable) is related to something that happens in another series, beginning with an A and ending with an A ;)
