Her taking a bite from the Imperial biscuit was meant to imply that she's still working for the Imperial Remnant forces.
New Republican is so dumb
I had another thought while I was watching. What if she's working for Thrawn in opposition to the Remnant faction? The Mandalore seems to be reuniting under Din Djarin, but what's left of the Empire is split into competing factions. It's what happens when an empire falls.
Especially when she said she liked the Red Buscuits, yet here she is munching the yellow ones 😎 I think that’s she’s secretly working for Moff G still, hence wanted to wipe the Doctors memory/ Cloning knowledge ‘evidence’ of the programme which is working on Restoring the Long Dead Emperor Palpatine…ie to keep this knowledge from being discovered by the New Republic
I believe she cranked up the power to wipe his mind because he has information about Gideon. She's still working for Gideon.

The doctor isn't completely new. He was the one taking blood samples from Grogu in season 1. The theory is that he was supposed to make a clone that could use the force.
I liked the effect Dinn did with his ship when he stopped midair then dropped. Like the batwing over the moon in Batman with Keaton.
I did like how this episode teases the start of the remnants of The Empire slowly turning into The First Order.
I feel the entire Amnesty Program is based on Operation: Paperclip, in which the US brought in over 1,600 scientists, engineers, and technicians from Germany at the end of WWII and the start of the Cold War. Elia Kane also reminds of the MCU, in which HYDRA planted operatives within SHIELD, which led led to the events of Captain America: the Winter Soldier.

She was definitely a double agent working for the Empire. The Empire wanted to make sure no one was able to carry on the doctors work. With his mind wiped, that knowledge is safe.
The Mythosaur is the symbol that unites all Mandalorians. It is an integral pillar of their history, culture, and society. Compared to that, the Darksaber is simply another weapon. The fact that she knows it exists and is not a myth will play heavily into her quest to retake power if she so chooses.

Even though there wasn't much mando in this ep what they included was big. Mando is redeemed and Bo is starting to realize that The Way is not just a cult but possibly a way forward for her and her people. Also she saw that Mythosaur.
I'm so excited to see Din Djarin and Bo Katan team up with the Watch to help them fight back against the Empire
I have 2 theories about Kane betrayal:
1- She is really working for the New Republic, and so enthusiatically to "get justice on his own way".
2- She is still working for Gideon's organization, and erasing the memory of Persing assures 'em no one else knows about his work... on Palaptine's clonation?
I love how her name sounds like "A liar". Subtle.

Some people thought this episode was boring but I LOVED spending time on Coruscant.
Bo is playing the long game. I loved the stall-turn and the H.A.L.O. Drop. The officer clearly is working for the Moff and most likely Grand Admiral.
The Doctor was in Season 1 and 2 hes the doctor who experimented on Grogu in season 1 and was the guy the pilot held hostage in the Lambda shuttle they took on to Gideons ship to get the kid back. i'm 90% sure the girl is working for the empire and wiped Pershings mind to keep him from talking about the grogu experiments
I think that Pershing kept touching his ear because that's where the blaster bolt 🔩 grazed his ear when the Lambda shuttle pilot had him at gunpoint 😓.
Dr Pershing's entire segment was a reference of George Orwell's 1984. Every time they mention the Mind Flayer I keep thinking of Stranger Things
That was my first thought, as well, the 1984 part I mean.
1984 is a warning of socialism/communism hence INGSOC means English socialism
And I think of Dungeons & Dragons... I'm a nerd among nerds!

I think that the Living Waters glow because they are connected to the Force 🤔🤯🤩! Also, this episode confirms that the Armorer has been pouring some of the Living Waters into her forge quench to bless the armor she forges 🤯🤩!

I think the reason the NR didn't think she was betraying them was because she's a plant for them among the ex-Imperials. She's working for the NR to find people who aren't following the rules. The real question is if she has deeper motives, like is she still secretly working for the Empire?
This episode reminded me of Andor.

With all those fighters that showed up, especially the tie interceptors and bombers, I think we're starting to get or at least should I say teased that we're going to see The return of grand admiral thrawn.
One thing this episode makes very clear, at least to me, is that the New Republic isn't so different from the Empire. "Rehabbing" someone's thoughts or allegiances isn't exactly the cornerstone of a free society.
It's not a coincidence that 2 of Moff Gideon's enemies were attacked. He's still doing things behind bars. The Mythosaur is even more of a Mandalorian legend than the Dark Saber and the symbol Mandalor needs to reunite.
I had thought Ella Kane was dead - remember she was on the bridge when Bo Katan and Cara Dune stormed the bridge looking for Moff Giddeon. I remember being quite disappointed in that, because the actress Katy O'Brian has lots of Martial Arts experience so I thought she was going to be a double agent or something ...
I think Bo didnt mention seeing the Mythosaur is that if Din didnt also see she didnt want to sound foolish for saying she saw it. Without DIn backing her word she'd sound crazy or a self serving liar.
I think casting O'Brian as Abby in The Last of Us part 2 would be awesome. She already has the guns 💪

Obviously, she set him up from the beginning. Seems like she's a part of the Imperial Remnant (a holdout).
She took his mobile laboratory and now she has him on the highest setting scrambling his brain. She is turning him to get him back on the work, and the hardware she already has!
Mandalor is Bo Katan's home planet, Din Djarin was born on Concordia, this was his first time visiting Mandalor.

I had a great deal of trouble following the middle of the episode because the video was so dark on my copy.

I wonder. Did Ella Kane figure out that the Doctor had co-operated with Mandalorian, Bo-Katan and Cara Dune to plan the raid on Moff Gideon's Cruiser? Is she acting on her own behalf to get revenge on the Doctor? I thought she had been killed on the bridge. I wonder?

If you liked this episode you should definitely watch Andor, this is a little taste of what Andor did.
There's only one person I can think of and that is Thrawn. This episode seems like a build up and maybe Ahsoka will come into play which is exciting

You know that opera scene from Revenge of the Sith? I think that was exactly the same place that we saw this episode when Pershing was conducting his talk.
Also the whole part with Pershing and Elias Crane (that's her name right?), I had a feeling that something was off with her. At certain points, it was clear that she was playing to his weaknesses and interests which was well-played. The actress did a fantastic job!

Playing in with the advance tease of Grand Admiral Thrawn in live action, I have high confidence that "Kane" Is more than just a simple double agent, and is probably a Emperor's Hand, and may even be the new Canon version of Mara Jade.... Her spycraft is too smooth to be a simple agent of either the Republic or the Imperial remnant intelligence agencies.
( This is literally opening the Heir to the Empire time slot)
Thrawn is the theory, I think Bo is gonna teach din how to use the dark saber. That's what I think. What I want to happen is Bo teach din to wield the saber, then he rides the mythosaur, reunites mandalore then grogu becomes a mandalorian Jedi after returning to finish his training with Luke and the reason why we never heard this story is because Grogu traveled to a far away place where he hid his powers because he learned that from Luke from Yoda, and he's now in his prime in the sequel story (palp and snoke timeline) he's just in hiding like Yoda and now a Master Jedi/Mandalorian in his prime so like idk 150 years old would be good at least it was for Yoda he was awesome at 150 years old or so he was a Jedi knight and basically a master but lack of age with his species and lack of missions at his time kept him from being master until much later
I Think The Comm's Officer is a Double agent. Trying to get in favor with the New Republic Probably to free Moff Gideon
Also I think in the Beginning The Imperial Intercepters are Part Of Grand Admiral Thrawn's from His 7th Fleet.
A Possible Second reason for the Doctors Set up ( and Frying his Brains ....Was for Crossing Moff Gideon)
Remember That Doctor was In season 1 and then 2 ( In season 2 He gave Moff Gideon Up to Mando And Bo Katan so they could rescue the Baby lol)
Bo Katan Was Part Of''Death Watch' During the Clone Wars......' And Death Watch Saved Din...Then a Hardcore Faction Left after the Death Watch Fell apart...and Became the Cult that we Know Now lol....
While the writing in this episode isn’t as good as Andor yet but I am glad they attempted this. It’s a step in the right direction with the slow burn, world building and all, this is the way! Best episode of the season for me so far

The two stories in this one felt too separate. Both were interesting, and, very well done, but, both could've benefitted from being their own episodes.

I agree. The episode is a little out of place. We just got a recap episode, and episode 2 was straight to the point. Ep 3 should have been a little breather, then made episode 2, including the first and last scene of episode 3, as the final scene.

I believe the whole objective was to get him into that machine so she could wipe his mind, and that leads me to believe she's working for Thrawn against Gideon's Remnant faction. They want to eliminate cloning to weaken the Sith and prevent the rise of the First Order. That's just what I think, I might be wrong.
I really hope it is Thrawn vs Gideon just so Thrawn has someone to absolutely destroy. I have a feeling that all the heroes from Mandalorian and Ashoka will be bubble wrapped in plot armor, unfortunately. Not to date myself, but I'm more heavily invested in Thrawn from the Legends novels to the point where I'll root for him over any character in either show. Sorry, not sorry.

I think the guy who left the room was a remnant also. I think he was talking about her being a success, and Pershing being a failure, from an imperial perspective.
I highly doubt it since the Empire was very human-centric and would not likely have a twi'lek in their ranks as they were considered a slave species
Surprisingly, this episode didn't do it for me, but that's okay.
Honestly, the stuff with Pershing and Kane gave me that Andor feeling that everyone else saw from that show, even though I still haven't seen Andor yet (I possibly will get on that before Season 2 and Ahsoka hits). Shoot, I was kinda getting bored watching that portion of the episode, even though I was paying attention to everything.
So far, Season 3 has gotten off to a slow start to me. But, I think it's intentional, because we have 5 episodes left. So, I hope in Episode 4 or 5, things pick up.
The stuff with Bo and Mando was nice to look at. Intrigued as to what is Bo's endgame here. Also, nice to see Katy O'Brian from Quantumania here (haven't watched that yet). I'm pretty sure, during the recap in the beginning, they showed her from Andor. I could be wrong about that.
To make a long story short (too late!), I'm not a fan of this episode, and I hope things pick up soon.

He's has a connection to Moff Gideon. He knows too much. Moff must be planning a major comeback. That's my theory anyway.

Obviously she's still working for the Imperials because her whole goal was to manipulate him to wipe him memory of the experiments that were performed on Camino as well as the experiments that Pershing conducted with Grogu under orders from Gideon. And Kryze owns the Darksaber since Din dropped it during his fight on Mandalore where he was captured (and almost barbecued?) and she picked it up. Did we see her give it back to him? No.
Bo-Katan doesn't own the Darksaber. If that were true why did she give it back to Din?? It doesn't work like that
She can't just pick the Dark Sabre up off the ground to own it. She has to win it in battle for it to be hers.
Bo-Katan didn't mention the mythosaur to Din because he would go back and tame the creature and be the ruler of Mandalore. She wants to be the one to tame it and then challenge him for the Darksaber.

It was a good Mando episode, but waaay too short. Idk about this new "The Doctor" show that was in-between... Too long imo. Could've shaved off 10 minutes of that.
I hated this episode....10 mins of Mando at the beginning then 30 mins of some side character doctor, then last 10 mins of Mando....this is the problem when you give the intellectual rights to Disney..they get sidetracked from the original material...yeah I get the Doc's story will be pertinent later but it's called mandalorian not doctor side character....dunno just annoying to wait a whole week just to NOT see the main character?.
