どんな大胆な動きをさせても違和感生まない作画は本当に凄い
板も無しに雪山の斜面を滑降する事なんて出来る訳が無いんだけれど、井上さんが描くとリアルに見えるからすごい。
形が崩れなさ過ぎてCGなんじゃないかと錯覚する、すごすぎる
実際には迫力を出すために体積が膨張したり伸びたり縮んだりを違和感なくやってるんでCGでやると硬くなります。背景の画角と人物の画角が同一画面上で厳密に違うけどもその方が迫力が出る等も。CGでやると正確すぎてこじんまりとすべてがフレームに収まってる感じになると思います。下手だから崩れてるんじゃなくて意図的にダイナミズムや躍動感、情感、演出意図を出すために正確ではない描画を匠の技でしています。押井守監督の「ゴースト・イン・ザ・シェル」で井上俊之氏の作画パートが「2.0」という手を入れ直したバージョンでCGに差し替えられていますので比べてみると頭を抱えますよ。出だしで素子がコート脱いでビルから飛び降りるシーンとダイビングのシーンとかですね。

他にも「マクロスF」のスタッフが手描きアニメのように遠近感を強調して迫力を出す時用にわざと歪んだCGモデルを作って遠近感の強調をCGで再現していたという話もあります。
「CG」の部分を「リアル」と置き換えて「リアルを錯覚させる」という表現ならレオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチのモナリザとか遠近感をわざと強調して手を大きめに描いて正確ではないがまるで目の前にいるようだと錯覚させる技法を発明しています。
正確でない表現で人の錯覚を逆手に取りリアルを錯覚される手法は今のところ絵でしか無理なんではないでしょうか？
形が全然崩れない作画。上手すぎてCGかと疑うレベル。こういう人こそもっと評価されるべきだな。
おおかみこどもの雨と雪、最後に見たのがあんなに前なのにあのシーンは鮮明に脳に焼き付いてる

人によっては野暮ったいとかもっさりしてるとか言われそうだが、この人のアニメーションって動きに重力や物自体に重さが感じられて好き

You did a great job editing this video, BlueSakuga. I like how it starts with effects and moves to character animation, connecting the scenes with water was a specially nice touch. And every scene is long enough to understand how Inoue works in the limits of that certain anime.
Also, though his effects are good, I love his character animation a lot more. The bodies he draws have a very realistic feel of weight and are governed, as they should be, by laws of physics. While running or fighting, the bodies don't just move their limbs, they seem to be controlling them, fighting against momentum, trying to stay on their feet and keep balance. Ame & Yuki (5:52) here is a good example, also his work from Akira and Tokyo Godfathers. I can think of other animators with a similar style, slightly better at times, but a few as prolific as Inoue.

i started copying the good animations in animes (with either 3d figures or just a scribble) , because its shows be how they animated on 2s and 3s and how the timing really works, watching in slowmo is not enough
