Of all the animation that I am baffled by. I can say that fabric is the most baffling to me. i just don't know how they make it seem realistic, physics wise.

But I dont think the people behind Red line study precisely the propagation of the pressure wave in the pipe that is imply when Jp put the nitro cap. It is far more than a simple physic mechanism, they make us feel it. That s why I do love their work. (edit: small precision, fabric physic is really similar to my example, but engineer obligation, I m more passionate by engine than by clothes. but this do not imply I cant appreciate both)
I have only one question how in the fuck does he/she have this much patience to collect so many scenes and edit them and make a goddamm compilation. Props man props
Such a beautiful work of art dedicated to other wonderful works of art. Especially the folks at Kyoto Animation. May the lost live on through their gorgeous contributions to this artform we all cherish. Thank you, Hobbes! Best channel on CZcams ❤
OMG!! I was just learning how to draw hair in wind and then you posted this video!! Now I have so much reference thank you so much!! Your videos really make CZcams a better place!!!
This is a really good one, it is like a compilation of all your greatest sakuga, from your sports sakuga to even your samurai champloo sakuga, you've really outdone yourself
hair and clothing animation give so much credibility to a character, and dimension and power to the scene in general. Thx for the good work of compiling and putting all of this together
And he does it again !!! Currently watching this while I work on my short film . Sigh When you make comps man they’re riddled with such variety and zing it’s a feast for the eyes & ears , an event In itself for the Sakuga community , keep up the great work !
2:15 that bebop one is my favorite for some reason. It's very hard to explain, but its the only one that doesn't seem.... gratuitous? Feels like the volume and movement of every single piece of hair or fabric remain consistent throughout the loop, which is rare. animation from that movie was absolutely top-notch.
When I first watched these videos I was in my depression times but since I'm free from it and hearing this again made me love these videos and music more thank you for making these videos
Hobbes you did it again. Beautiful! I remember the first scene of S.E. Lain, the suicide girl hair and clothes floating in the wind when the hand slightly grabs the handle of the roof.
You’re my favourite source for showcasing sakuga The clips are enjoyable and your taste in music fits mine, I try to watch others but their music choice to me is meh Thanks to you I’ve also discovered lotsa music! Keep up your beautiful work
Such a sleeper channel, you really have an unrivaled catalog of good sakuga with good music and editing to boot. Hope to see a return at some point, there's no other channel like this.
Hey man I just wanted to tell you I love your vids. I hope your safe in this trying times. Also I’d love to see you make more vids! They are just so GOOD!!
The Aircraft vid has nearly a million but this ones arguably better and it hasn't cracked 86k but hey maybe if I keep watching so much it'll get there. Great stuff man thank you.

Maybe it was about the fabric/ cape but that's a good one, lmao

can we appreciate the fact that this man has to go and find these animations himself

You really have to put more focus and concetration in studying your reference in order to craft it yourself

I have only one question how in the fuck does he/she have this much patience to collect so many scenes and edit them and make a goddamm compilation. Props man props
And then credit them all in order
Sakugabooru has all the clips
0:45 the transition, fuckin clean dude
04:32 i love how misato's walking fits the music and i have always loved that cut !!!
9:55
that was a smooth transition
I laughed when I saw Saitama
Just wanted to say that the transitions from 6:16 - 6:31 are crazy clean
Also these songs are going straight to my playlist
Waited 17 minutes to see Simon pulling his cape, was not disappointed.
RIP, Kigami Yoshiji. You were a true artist.
This is by far the most underrated channel on youtube. The amount of effort put in these edits is insane.
Such a beautiful work of art dedicated to other wonderful works of art. Especially the folks at Kyoto Animation. May the lost live on through their gorgeous contributions to this artform we all cherish.
Thank you, Hobbes! Best channel on CZcams ❤
YOOOOOOO THE GOAT IS BACK
OMG!! I was just learning how to draw hair in wind and then you posted this video!! Now I have so much reference thank you so much!!
Your videos really make CZcams a better place!!!
🌸🐈🐆🍃🌲🐪🐫🐊
So now you can animate hair and fabric?
Damn, captions with sources and animators?? This is so top notch, you are an excellent human. Thanks for making these!
Loved how Katsuragi walked in time with the beat at 4:35. All your videos are fantastic. Thank you!
I dropped everything for this
Welcome back dude
i get my anime recommendation only from Hobbes Sakuga source lists
This is a really good one, it is like a compilation of all your greatest sakuga, from your sports sakuga to even your samurai champloo sakuga, you've really outdone yourself
That was nice, thank you dude, we love you.
hair and clothing animation give so much credibility to a character, and dimension and power to the scene in general. Thx for the good work of compiling and putting all of this together
THIS!!!...is my all time favorite Hobbes Sakuga video. Thank you for your hard editing work Hobbes Sakuga, you da man!
These videos have been a real staple in helping me understand, study, and better my animations.
And he does it again !!! Currently watching this while I work on my short film . Sigh When you make comps man they’re riddled with such variety and zing it’s a feast for the eyes & ears , an event In itself for the Sakuga community , keep up the great work !
Thank you for making great edits. these songs are amazing, I would have never heard them without you doing what you do.
Dude, i love the music you put, you have knowledge about it and you are aware about the music you listen and that's very important
i cant even imagine how much time you spent searching for the best clips. Thank you! so i dont have to do this^^
2:15 that bebop one is my favorite for some reason. It's very hard to explain, but its the only one that doesn't seem.... gratuitous? Feels like the volume and movement of every single piece of hair or fabric remain consistent throughout the loop, which is rare. animation from that movie was absolutely top-notch.
So much work put into this, thank you so much
When I first watched these videos I was in my depression times but since I'm free from it and hearing this again made me love these videos and music more thank you for making these videos
Hobbes you did it again. Beautiful! I remember the first scene of S.E. Lain, the suicide girl hair and clothes floating in the wind when the hand slightly grabs the handle of the roof.
綺麗だな…これだからアニメは素晴らしい!
Nice to see you posting consistently. Fabulous editing and compilation as usual.
With quarantine going on we need your videos more than ever! Please post something man!
You’re my favourite source for showcasing sakuga
