This czcams.com/users/postUgkxATHBlMJwipGgVWseuAFKvDQ_5R4_lywo unit was an easy install and turned out amazing. The dimensions were exact! I took a chance and built the wall prior to receiving the unit which arrived sooner than expected and it fit right in the space I constructed. The heat output is perfect for the space we needed and made the room exactly how we envisioned it to turn out. I am happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability. Thank you for the awesome product just in time for the holidays.
Looks good, great job with framing! The only difference i would make is to use pre-made corner pieces instead of cutting the stacked stone at 45 degrees. The corner pieces give a cleaner look without any gaps on the corners. Most manufactures offer these, but if you cant find them then cut your corner pieces at 43-44 degrees instead of 45 degrees so the very edges butt up against each other tighter giving a much better finish.
A lot of stores aren’t carrying those anymore where I live in California.
After do these cuts myself, I definitely agree the pre-made ones are much easier 🙃
Yeah the corners peace make the job easier.
Actually, 46-47 deg. would be going in the wrong direction. You want to cute a slightly more accute angle than your measurement. I.e 90 deg. / 2 = 45 deg. so cut 44 deg. (x2 = 88 deg.). That way when you open up the cut to a wider angle the front edges close and you have a slight gap in the back. If you cut 46-47 deg. (i.e 92-94 deg.), you'll never get the front edges to close and sit parallel or flat against the wall....it will rock on the corner.
@@revelation12ministries51 Yes, you're are correct, an angle of less than 45 degrees is ideal. I will correct it!
Such precision work! I thought this was.a job I could do myself but I see that this is a job left to the experts.
Deserve more than 1 like , damnnn that took patience excellent job .
Nicely done! Gona uses your technique for my wall in my solarium.
great work guys
Great job showing the step by step... Gives me confidence I can do this 👍💥👍💥

Amazing amazing job 👍🏼👍🏼looks beautiful ❤️God bless!!
I have seen some goofy insert designs in my time. I'm currently trying to work around a really terrible one at the moment. This one is great.
The only thing, cover the floor very important guys, great job.
Thanks for the tutorial, I'm going to do the same
Man, amazing work! I need to learn how to cut at 45 degrees for sure. The color looks great!
Nice job. Thanks for posting
Fine work gentleman..fine work. I appreciate the use of real stone vs faux. That addition definitely enhanced that living space tenfold.
well done. can't wait to do mine.
Thank you and good luck on your project 👍
Can you do mine too
What is de size
beautiful! great job! i’m gonna try this! thanks for sharing your videos.
Good job 👏, gap in the corner is very noticeable probably do use some kind of grout or matching colour filler should do the job perfect

Turned out beautifully
Nice job! I love the stone you chose and I may use the same for my house. I have no idea how to build anything but I'm going to try to follow tutorials and build this. Wish me luck
It’s quite easy. I’m doing another one starting today. Just do it and everything will fall into place.
its just matter of initiating. Good Luck to you. i am also going to do it.
@@haroonnaseem1 …I wish we could post pictures here. My project came out better than expected. All done
Interesting framing
Very good job friend! Doing this project on my 77” sony and watching videos for tips on stacking stone ( never attempted ) very helpful thanks.
Thank you so much for watching 👍
@@AZIMBAYO1 do you need to use cement boards on a regular wall with texture or will the mortor against the drywall be enough to hold it? I’m not adding a fireplace just gonna hang a tv.
@@tonytre6404 Ever get an answer here??
@@chrisellis3931 nope
Hmm.. I want to do this on a flat wall with tv mount(no fire place)… So I’m also wondering if I should just do it on the normal studs or put cement wall pieces in front..
Wow! Great job! And great step-by-step video!
Looks awesome you guys got skills 👍🏼👍🏼
Great job brother
My bonito quedo la chimenea 👌👌
Inspiring Amazing skills! Great Job God bless.
excellent job. looks great
I want the exact thing built in my home as I have very high interior wall. Dont know how to find a good contractor...
Same 😭
Great job!!
Great job. Beautiful. Makes the whole room look better.
You did a pretty neat job there !
Do you have a detailed video of how you built the frame for this fireplace ? It would be really helpful to share with us, beginners along with the materials and the kind of tools used in this project.Thank you !
No detail video sorry
@@AZIMBAYO1 , What dimensions of the plywood did you use ? 2*2 or 2*4 ?What was the height, width and depth of your wooden frame. How much did your frame project out of the wall ?
Beautiful job! looks fantastic
Wow looks awesome
How did you do the cuts on the top?
Good Job Sir. Any issues with mounting the bracket onto the stone? I like that application as it allows the firplace to be serviced if needed.
Thank you
I mount the TV bracket directly to the wall before installing the stone
Good job, fellas.
You did a GREAT job!!
Thank you👍
Nice job.......lots of work and it looks great
Nice job! You make it look easy. But, I know it is a lot of work.
Well done !
Azim good morning as i always mentioned.u are very talented .kudos to u my brother on a job well done .i love the entire structure of the 🔥 place and mounted TV .nice really nice
Stunning and beautiful, want to do the same for my house, nice job
Good job! Love it
You guys rock! Thanks, I'll be doing something just like this in the home I'm building. Please wear something to protect for your lungs. I've done some similar projects and wish I had. There is all kinds of silica in that stuff, you don't want hazardous minerals in your lungs.
Good job! i'm using ceramic wall tile. others suggest that I use 1/2"gypsum board then 1/2" Durock cement board, then ceramic tile. This sounds like over kill to me.
1/2 Cement Board is good.
Just make shore u give it a lot of screws
I’m doing a similar project but I’m using peel & stick vinyl flooring instead of stone. Can I just stick it to the cement board like you did with the stone then use grout to finish?
I don't know about that is it will work sorry
Great piece of work.!
Fantastic work boys. Getting ready to do the same in my dining room but I don’t have to deal with cathedral ceilings. Thanks for the video, will be renting the saw to help with the miters and I hope it looks as good as this. Craftsmanship at its finest. Keep on rockin’ (pun intended)
Great job brother 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽🙏🏼✌️👍😎
Looks great
Looks amazing
Thank you so much! Love the video
Great job 👏
Beautiful, I was looking to do the same thing..Thank You for this.
Love it great work
man virtual reality fire lol Nice job though
Good job bro
Wow !! Looks amazing !! Great Job, fellas !
That's fantabulous.
Great Job! That looks so beautiful!
can you share the link to the fireplace?
What fireplace??
Awesome job. Looks good
Nice video, just what I need to see!
Amazing job! And those corners came out super clean. You just inspired me to revamp my fireplace.
Thanks for watching 👍
Awesome job!
Very nice!! Awesome job made it look so easy!!
Good job!
Very nice
Just finished mine this weekend love the way it came out used alaska grey stone with 60 inch fire place one question should i clean the stones before i put the sealer on to remove excess cement.
Very nice job guys 👍🏻👍🏻
good job Amazing
Thanks for watching 👍
Looks great! Good job! I am thinking about doing this same build.
Amazing work my guy! Thank you for making this video
Super!
Amazing Job, however i an wondering, why did you start from the middle of the Wall and not the Floor, and how did you measure exactly where you were going to start
He used a ledger board (straightest material you can find) in this case he used a base board trim piece. He leveled the trim piece and screw it to the cement board. This process keeps upper row leveled and keeps it from gravity pushing the upper row down. After 30-60 minutes of completing upper level, mortar should be close to drying up and stable enough to work on lower level without upper sliding down.
Wow that came out really good. Very detailed video. Great job!!
Amazing work, keep it up
Nice work man
Thanks for watching 👍
Awesome. Coming along well. But bro where is the part where you build the fireplace I will live to see that video.
Luk nice but y did y’all conceal the seams when the stacked stone was goin over it anyway?
I did it to strengthen the wall a little
it's is one of thr most easy to follow detailed videos thanks. My only question is if I can used other cutting tool that I can buy to make the cuts instead of a wet saw? and how much space should I leave for TV mount? I have see some that have more space? is that due to out size of wanting to upgrade doe TV? last question is how do you keep concrete from getting dried out do you keep adding water or just mix?
U can use an angle grinder with a tile cutting blade.
It is best to install a tv mount for big TV
So u would always have the space.
Mix a 1/4 bucket Cement at a time
So that it doesn't dry out
@@AZIMBAYO1 much appreciated for the insight 🙏 will be my first diy
I need one installed
I agree,it came out beautiful, but can I ask how long did it take you to finish the whole job
just an FYI you should really wear safety glasses when using any power tools.... that is russian roullette came out nice though!
Looking good bro! Love it!
Great job. I'm planning to install stack stone on a living room accent wall. Do you think 1/4 inch cement board (Hardie board) screwed into the drywall will work or does it need to be 1/2 inch?
1/2 inch. with the 2 1/4 screws
Maybe a dumb questions but, when laying the tile, why did you start at the top edge of the fireplace as opposed to the floor? I will only be going up to the bottom of the mantel so would i still start at the top edge of the fireplace and them meet that from the floor? Also...i would like to have a clean uncut tile at the top edge because the mantel does not go all the way accross.
We are doing our Fireplace now, if the mitered corners do have a bit of spacing in the 45 degree cuts. We chose stone that has 3 different stone sizes. What do you suggest to fill in the small gaps on the corners?
You can use a sanded grout that matches the color of the stone
Nice job done! Leant a lot -- what was the Trowel size you used on this one? (Inches)?
1/2 inch trowel
what about building code and town inspection?
Looks good!
Very nice, are you available for hire in Orlando?
Do you have to put nails or any support between the panels, height wise? Or is the mortar strong enough that it isn’t necessary?
No nails required
The thin-set mortar is strong enough to support the weight
