- Today Billy and I decide to take off and wander through some previously unexplored woods and swamps hoping to find a new and untouched site. I see some really interesting nature observations and we do eventually find what appears to be a collapsed well and some relics scattered around it.
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my CZcams "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, / chiggsarmy ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn't a place for kids anyway...lol.

Chigg,
I really enjoy when you demonstrate your knowledge of hard to
identify objects.
That shows just how long you've been exploring.
Thank you. and it makes your videos really informative.

It's actually called "red lichen" and Florida is it's primary habitat, with it extending into other southern states as well. Just fyi.
Wat other southern states? Florida is the most southern you can go in the us
@@jaredwhite489 You know things can "extend" up as well as down, right?
My respect and appreciation to the land owner. …observation platform, duck box, alfalfa, Chigg and S. Cpt. Billy. Makes good decisions.
I've said it before it's like hiking with Bob Ross watching your videos. You are doing a great job!
Great little adventure tonight. We find a cool old site and I find a pink tree in the forest! Who'd a thunk?

Thanx for all the new vids brother
This is Florida! I’m a Native, Summerfield. Where y’all at?
@@CLacy that won't say..it a secret.chigg is stealthy..lol.but maybe he'll tell ya
The pinkish red stuff you saw was a type of Lichen! Lichen is one of those interesting nature things that not a lot of people pay attention to. Around where I live, you typically see white or grayish-green lichen on the trees with black being seen more and more. Lichen is one of the biggest indicators of air quality, as they are pretty much up-taking all of the atmospheric nutrients.
love that you always include scenery shots and information about wildlife too like woodpeckers! Being from Australia all of that is fascinating as well as the digging 😁
This is such a great channel!
Nature hike Is afoot!!!🤓
The relics are very interesting too...
Thanks for letting me tag along with you....🌹
Love the thimble. I want to find one bad. Great video and finds.
Thanks for sharing and bringing me along👍💖👍much love from
Here in michigan
I found the armadillo den interesting. I didn't realize they were in the United States. We have an opossum living in a hole under an outbuilding and I have seen it many times on trail cam carrying a ball of leaves with it's tail and it closes off it's hole the same as the armadillo.
Relaxing and fun video, definitely a place I'd enjoy detecting.
Thankyou for sharing your search.
Enjoyed that.. thank you. for taking us along.
I once got to use a garden rake made of deer sheds to unearth some taters and I swear the taters tasted like deer venison! And 30 yrs ago my neighbors became "rich" because they made chandeliers out of found shed's!
Thanks Chigg
Nice shed Beau!
Cool place!
Always cool to find sheds
Great finds well done on the finds
Great video Chiggs.
That pink tree Was ! Very interesting. I used to work fire, it isn't fire retardant as one person suggested no other indication of fire in the area.pink lichen!
Looks like Dinosaur land,Great Video,Love from Dartmoor/Devon England,Keep up the Good Work.
I love that property!
I really like your videos we have to much red tape over the uk detecting wise I love those lead civil war bullets love finding lead bits especially lead tokens and lead bullets of any kind I love recently found a Martin Henry bullet it’s pretty cool
Love the Thimble…❤️
a few years ago I visited Florida and saw the pink lichen. while traveling in Mexico I saw a rock with gray, yellow, orange, red and black lichen. pretty cool.
Nice hunt I enjoyed it, I’ll catch you on the next one. 🇺🇸
liked that tree! very cool oddity.
The first video of yours that I just saw was one of the Kenny V searches in the desert. I'm impressed!
My man chigg love brother!! Nothing but!!
Another awesome video from Beau! 👍
What a fascinating and somewhat eerie video...the alligator ?! Swamp and pink tree... I love the thimble! I think all we ladies watching love the thimble! This all lends itself to the background of a good Southern Gothic story!!,...." intent on sewing the clothes for her soon to.be born baby, Evangeline suddenly noticed the lengthening shadows and realized she had failed to bring the milk cow Bessie in for the night. Struggling to her feet , Evangeline let the baby dress slide to the floor and heard her thimble hit the floor. She hurried to the door and stood in the doorway shuddering. The evening dampness of the swamp wrapped itself around her shoulders. " Bessie ! BESSIE" She cried and waited, heart pounding for a sound of lowing or Bessie's bell . AH! There it was ..clang...clang...and then ..the sound of frantic bellowing and pounding hooves, a large body crashing through the brush.and fading into the distance! ..Evangeline knew what lay that way ..the dreadfull swamp, that terrifying ghastly pink tree ! But she had to bring the cow home! Heedless, Evangeline plunged into the cypress tangle , stumbling o n her skirts..and in the distance, the bellowing of sn injured cow and a terrifying growling. Did alligators growl? Oh how she wished Abe had not left her alone in this swamp all these long days! And without even a gun to defend herself ...or any buckshot even had he left he a gun..all the shot wasted in his drunken target shooting binges...and not even an armadillo in the soup pot for supper! "
Cow bell Chigg I remember I was just barely old enough to remember anything mama had a milk cow she had a bell like that around her neck and mama would holler at her I could hear her comin a mile away that bell ringing.
Great vid chigg!
See y’all on the next one Chigg be safe and GOD BLESS
At least you got the Brass Ring for luck! Good for another go round!
Your video is super crisp!! Great camera!!!
I always dig the odd iron signals. It paid off last week when I dug a Phillip Law drawknife. Happy hunting and be well
A thimble for thewing? Great video, as always. Thanks.
Hey howdy!
The increasing sensitivity of newer detectors makes returning to "already detected" areas worthwhile. __
5:28 Freakin' hilarious Chigg!
Hey Chigg,...i know for sure those brass plates were fitted to cavalry saddles like the McClellan saddle. You may find the horse down there somewhere !!!!
We need more cow bell. 😁
Nice not to bad 👍
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
Cool Avian Snack Bar.
Chigg you said they would put the bell on the cow so when he or she was walking through the woods you could hear them tinkle. Is that where the old saying " Cow tinkling on a flat rock" came from? LoL.
Chiggs and Billy 👍🏽🍺
Hi Chigg! Cool digs!! I'm not square, I'm a round button!!🤣 Have a good one!!😘
Thanks! You too!
@@aquachigger are you in florida?
Hey Chigg and Billy
we dont have woodpeckers here in oz..would be good to see one to get an idea of their size/habits.... TY Sir for great video
That tree was very interesting
Keep your eyes open for snakes we had a rattle snake in our yard yesterday so they for sure are out now. Thanks for the video.
Goose creek lizard people Beau they trade for Samquinch Treats meat sticks and Jerky!!!; )
With not much around an old home site generally means they were dirt poor, but that's interesting history there Chigg.
The hunt is pretty fun
With all those palmettos and oaks, it looks like you’re in Florida! I don’t think you are, but it looks an awful lot what I’m very familiar with. “We need MORE cowbell!” SNL 😂 Happy hunting, Beau! ✌🏼❤️
Interesting botanical fana
We like nature walks!
A bunch of the hillsides were splashed in pink after we had a huge wild fire here in San Diego several years ago, the pink stuff was fire retardant and it took more than a year for it to be mostly faded away.
That oval shaped piece with the two holes in it, and the wedge shaped center, is from a knife. Probably was used near the bolster of the knife or in between two pieces of wood or leather.
I've owned both McClellan and Jenifer saddles and this is the brass piece that covers the slot in the saddle tree where the leather blanket/equipment straps run through. One on each side.
I've seen trees with little patches of pink lichen, but nothing like that!
I m kinda new to the channel and I've been dying to know if chigg has had any creepy/weird experiences out in the wilderness? Did Chiggfoot ever get to meet Bigfoot? 😂 Any ufo, or alien stuff? Or other unexplained/mystery happenings?
Is there a video where he mentions any of this?
No because those things aren't real
“Stupid groundhogs.” lol
I’m always happy with a buckle
That Billy seems like a real nice guy I hope you guys get together again some time.
13:21 loups garou? I didn’t see it. Lol
Could that brass piece be a barrel wedge ornament from a muzzle loader?
NO SWAMP APE?! DAMN!
Chigg any tips on detecting when you don't feel good..I'm technically disable and sometimes I'm ready to go and sometimes nim dragging my ass .but I love it I got a trunk lock and a horseshoe on a short hunt right in town..fun..gotta be old cause I doubt horses were on the sports feild edges anytime soon boggles my mind .old
🦋❣🦋Did I miss a video? I have been looking forward to seeing what happened with the bolder that had the covered hole. What was at the bottom? It was titled, " Four mysteries in the woods "🦋❣🦋❣🦋❣🦋❣🦋
👍👍👍😁
I'm thinking that furniture tac came frome a chair or couch that had the thimble in it.
It look likes your in my back yard. What part of florida ya at.
❤️
Any good signal I’m like got to be coin artefact or crap 😂
NEED MORE COWBELL!!! I have a fever and can only be cured by MORE COWBELL.
Thank you! I had already commented on the video early on and didn't feel it necessary to edit it just to add it needs more cowbell as I thought some one had to say it already.
Hey Chig
Wondering if you have ever metal detected trees when you were in a suspected battlefield area?
That's a really good idea Kelly. I hadn't thought of that. But I bet those trees are full of lead or whatever they make projectiles out of at that time
That’s what I thinking. If you suspect an area to be a battle zone then this will help confirm such and you could then focus on the ground area for your digging.
❤️❤️❤️
I was going to say it looks a lot like a trigger guard Chigg to me
Everyday I have dmtondig a few holes and watch a few chig vids atleast
Turned out A-OK so far, nice finds…. Except the lady bug… lol just kidding. Looks like you probably whooped billy so far looking forward to the next part. Thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏻👊🏻 ( I should stop typing that it’s getting burned into your brain from reading my comments😂😂) p.s. I refuse to be square I’ll definitely be there
What was that fan shaped plant in the area where you were at.
Palmetto of one type or another saw, dwarf, etc.
😀
where can we buy one of the Chigg's army hat?
👍⛏️🇦🇺😊🙋
You should have a gps to record when you find really old iron.
You never seen a Pepto Bismol tree, where do you think it comes from ?
The pink tree is actually an albino tree.
Chig and Billy, I wrote a chilling little preamble to a Southern Gothic mystery...incorporating many of the mysterious elements of this hunt.see below.
A little early for an upload, eh? 😉
All the bells I found were squished or fell apart. Just found a hammer to a musket or something. I thing it was for 2 barrel.
Where is this?
How the heck does a thimble and a half of a trigger guard end up in a place like that with no sign of a homestead? Wierd. The guard is definitely pre Civil War.
More gold coins found NOW!
Why would a thimble be all the way out there?
@13:35 That's Bubble Gum Lichen.
Woodpeckers need to cover their plugs
