Barrow Campsite Nairn - Walk around and review - July 2023

The Barrow Campsite is a fantastic family campsite on the North coast of Scotland, not far from Nairn. It is a rural, working farm site and since its not been open very long is still becoming established with its planting.
The site is ideal for visiting the area or travelling on the NC500. Suitable for Motorhomes, cyclists, motorcyclist, walkers and caravanners.
Hardstanding pitches have 10amp supply and a water tap. Upgrading to fully serviced, you get 16amp, water and grey waste. There are also accessible facilities onsite but the paths are gravel and worth noting for any wheelchair users.
The owner is a fantastic guy and the warden couldn't have been more sociable and helpful.

Thank you for the tour Ally & Alan 👍. Although we haven’t caravanned in Scotland yet, it’s one for the future. The drone footage gives a good overview of the layout. Would like to see some shrubs / hedges here and there between pitches to break that openness, other than that a nice site and location. All the best to you both, Rob & Gail 😀

Yeah, there is planting but as a new site the shrubs are really small and there's lots more the site are planning. A couple of years and the place will look very different as it gets established. Thanks for watching and commenting.

On the plus side, no tree sap or bird muck on the awning. Lovely sunrise and sunsets but yeah with the site still in that new and establishing phase, you could be agreed with on that point Linda 😍
