I just got one of these 6in1s. I was happy I got the trimmer all assembled and working. But found the trimmer line snapping off at the head and not releasing more line as intended. I got some better line, and then was about the through the thing in the bin because I couldn't work out how it should be rewired. I found this video, and my life has changed. Thanks so much.
Hello from Coventry UK. Brilliant advice re Aldi Strimmer,.first time ever took spool off and put on hitherto unused brushcutter and savagely attacked the allotment. Many thanks for your straightforward step by step explanations from 12,000 miles away😀😀😀
Mate thank you so much for this!! I was in Coventry in 2018 and I LOVED it!! The people were really lovely and welcoming so thank you for that amazing experience. And thank you for the feedback!! I greatly appreciate that and will upload more soon, I have been traveling a lot of Australia for work so it has been hard to get more videos up
Mate your a champion!!Seconds off binning the piece of crap my nephew gave me till I watched your vid.You reckon that first tip of loading the actual line wasn't handy....Cheers and no shortage of juice in the southern states either 😩😩
Thanks so much for the feedback James!!😂 I think a lot of people are in similar situations, I went through a LOT of troubleshooting to work out how to do this properly. I hope you are enjoying the tool a bit more now mate. I am totally aware of how much juice your receiving down there too, it is full-on and I hope you stay safe
Mate is the strings came out by pressing the button? My strings are not coming out by the press, machine was off though. So machine need to be turned in for strings come up?
Hi Khaz, when the machine is on and running just tap it on the ground and the strings will automatically feed out, unfortunately with the machine not running fhey won't feed out
Hi there, just wondering would the Brush-cutter ( tool ) cut reasonably easy on normal height grass plz ' ( not heaps tall just normal size ) rather than using the line part as i hate always fiddling around with that 'i guess i would just love to use the steel blade to cut my little batch of law i have because it would be a waist of money buying a mover 'so ya do u think the brush cutter part would cut my normal short lawn rather than using the plastic cord Plz.? "Thank you Sir. if u could respond asap 'that would be greatly appreciated. Cheers buddy.
Hi Dave, I do apologise for the delay in replying, (after you asked I actually went and tried this but forgot to reply) if you haven't tried it yet, I am not sure I recommend giving it a go. I had limited success, I found you need to keep the revs really high for it to work properly. I also found it kicked up a LOT of debris (OOOOHHHH!!!! That's why I forgot to reply!!! In the process of trying, a rock flicked up and obliterated the driver's window of my Landy!!!! 😲😲🤣), which made it kind of impractical to use. I hope that helped Dave, I also hope you learn from my mistake!! 😂
Thanks! The manual offered no help on how to do this. You're a life saver.
