The more pieces the better because that equals more happy people which is more valuable than a wind sock
wind streamers. work just like a sock except you get more strips out of it.
@@TuckerGott IIRC Andre Bandarra made mini wind socks out of an old wing for his Patreons. Nice idea. You could also cut it into streamers. Most likely you get more streamers out of the wing then wind socks.

Hello Tucker, interesting thing happened, even though I rang the bell to be notified whenever you had a new video your, video was not there. However it was there on the you tube home screen button. Otherwise I would’ve missed it entirely.

Love the longer videos - I once sold a motor bike that I'd done over 200,000 miles on. It was a betrayal. I should still have that bike mounted in a frame on my garage wall...
I think chopping your old wing up into squares and sending them out is a great idea. I think regular subscribers and commenters should get a piece too:)
Donate your old wing to the Smithsonian. Historic.
I like the "cut it up" and make wind socks (signed by you of course), sold at a very reasonable price and proceeds go to Resurgence PPG.
Send the wing fabric to an embroidery shop and make some limited edition risky biscuits patches. Be cool to have one on a hat..
The beauty of the whole thing is that you can still take the box and the plastic home for the kitty to play with, an awesome two for one deal lol😉

I got my first wing a month or so ago. A custom colour Mac Para Charger 25m² only have a couple of flights so far but its what I need for now.

The cutting up of your old wing and selling pieces of it reminds me of the selling of small lumps of coal from the Titanic which I do have a couple of.
I think you have a great idea and I'm guessing that they will sell very well and I'm sure definitely be enjoyed... who knows maybe I will even buy one👍🙂
Oh btw hopefully you'll keep a piece of your old wing for yourself and frame it to hang on your wall, I think that would be very cool for you to be able to look at and enjoy the memories from it.
Hey Tucker, I was just watching one of your videos where you talked about how much you love flying with hot air balloons. Have you ever considered trying to fly at the Albuquerque balloon fiesta? I think they've included paramotorists in the past! It could be an epic opportunity for Paradigm!
I like the colors of the new wing. Your idea about cutting the old one up is cool BUT you should keep the underside with the stickers. You can spread out and display the underside in your garage and that would look really cool. The top side can be cut up and sent out like you wanted too.
Before I got to the part of the video where you talk about what to do with your old wing, I was wondering if Ozone would like you to send it to them so they could see how it's held up over its lifetime. I imagine they'd be happy to have a wing that's been "out in the wild" so to speak, and really used, so they could analyze any wear, stretching, UV damage, and fatigue it has experienced.
I have to know: did you bring the box home and give it to the cat?

However way you decide to cut up your chute, you should oughta autograph them all (the windsock idea sounds great). With the new crispy chute and going with the 3 blade prop, you should really be pleased with your overall performance.
There's a lot to be said for getting a wing that you just feel comfortable in, with no bad tendencies. If you're competition flying all the time, then yes, get a wing (or second wing) that performs that role. But there's nothing better than just being able to launch and have some fun, with no stress of whether the wing is going to do weird stuff. I think you made a solid choice.
On the one hand, retiring your old wing, by giving away bits of it means giving up a backup wing, or a way to pay for the new wing, but on the other hand, I think it's a wonderful way to reward your viewers. How often does one get to own a piece of a famous aircraft? Right? It's like having the opportunity to own a piece of Spirit of St. Louis. Very cool way to retire the old wing. Thanks for the video, Tucker.
I totally like the idea of sending out a piece of your wing with merch purch!! I would love to fly but I'm a little scared.. thirty-nine-year-old family man who needs to lose some lbs.... But I've always dreamt of flying and to have a piece of the videos that I have enjoyed for years now would be freaking EPIC!!

Hey Tucker, love the idea of sending a piece of the wing with orders, that's something that's done with baseball cards. You could also have a "limited" amount that are mini wind socks that have your initials or autograph. You could even have a few that are signed/initialed by you and Jaclyn both. I wouldn't auction it/sell it in one piece or anything like that just for liability purposes, the world is crazy about lawsuits. Of course, now I would have to buy another shirt for a piece of the wing, lol. 🤘🏼

what to do with the wing?
Cut out 12 inch long mini wings. Use a stencil to cut out the shape. On one side screen print sig dates. The other side a slogan or the classic paramotor design. Can be hung up on a wall or used as sort of a windsock. Maybe embroider the edges.
Lol when you did your wingtip touch I noticed a static electric discharge. It was pretty cool.

I like the wind sock idea. I think sowing a wind sock might be more effort than you want, if you are going to give something for free. You could cut some simple streamers along the chord, that way everyone can get every color. The streamers could be added to a wind sock if someone really wants that.
You know, the first video I ever saw of yours was the McDonald's one. And I thought, not another CZcamsr taking silly (and not-well-thought-out) risks (and/or breaks the law) in order to make a video.... Because I've seen too many CZcamsrs who do that. *But you are the complete opposite of that.* A ton of kudos to you for being such an example of a good paramotor pilot and bonus, making really entertaining videos.
I think your playing it smart sticking with one wing you are comfortable with and know very well. It is just like motorcycles...I have a Kawasaki Ninja Zx636R I've owned for 16 years. I know its handling very well and how it reacts. If I was to change to say a Honda Cbr....the experience would be totally different and might find yourself in trouble doing manuevers the same way you are used to.

My best friend died from a fall from 1500 feet, in Oahu back in 91, because a line attachment grommet failure. I hope they fixed this problem. I know you do but please keep a good check on your gear, be careful and God Bless ya!

09:50 If you cut it up, make QR code for the playlist of the videos, print it on the pieces and send out. Even write a memo "This is a piece of the wing featured in all these videos... Then insert the QR code and your logo.. :)
For the old wing, how about tiered options embroidering a limited amount of some of the pieces with your logo and a short inspirational phrase with a grommet for a keychain. Not sure how easy that would be but thats my input 😀

I live in Ontario Canada. Your channel inspired me so much to make this a goal to do this. Here I have to go get my ultra light pilot license which is good as I would never do any of this without a lot of training lol. I always wonder, do you get butterflies or a rush like a coaster ride doing this?
