She was 1st seen in our office in 2009, when she was 8. She was becoming more and more nearsighted, and her older sister was already in Orthokeratology. JZ (now JF) began ortho-k when she was 11 and she is now 22. At that point, she already loved reading and her mother said that she reads Harry Potter over and over.
She was recently seen in our office to replace her Ortho-k lenses. She continues to have 20/20 acuity in each eye and 20/15 (even smaller letters) when seeing with both eyes. She has not become more nearsighted.
