Informative video. You mentioned to " regularly" drain the water heater. How often is "regularly"? Thanks!
Very informative and useful information! Thank you!
I just changed mine after 4 years. It had a ton of white minerals in the tank. The rod itself was rusted. They say to check it every 3-4 months. I will be doing that for now on.
A video demonstrating the proper way to flush a tank that has anode rode sludge buildup would be helpful.
Keep On Truckin'Boss 👍👍 TYVM
Warships use zinc plates below the waterline for the same purpose... Divers swap them out as needed...
SUBSCRIBED RECOMMENDING 👀 more please😮
thanks for the info
that looks like that's the core of the anode rod, not with the material on it, the tiny hole was because of calcium build up
Is there a trick to getting the rod back into the heater? I found trying to get the threads lined up correctly a bit difficult.
are they different sizes for different RV,s
Is is possible that my heater does not have one? I only see the heating element. It’s a 2021 dometic gas/electric
A dometic water heater has an aluminum clad tank and does not need an anode rod 👍
Is there different size rods
