      Darwinism.
In this age of algorithms and social media, seems like critical thinking is completely abandoned in favor of...
A: that fuzzy feeling you get when you believe you're right, or at least positively acknowledged.
B: being super speedy and getting information FAST FAST FAST.
Maybe to some people the concept of being wrong brings bad feelings, so they do something to try to make it go away. I sometimes feel that way if I'm wrong about something.
*"Being able to figure something out because you think you're smart enough to put the available pieces together is a good feeling".* That summarizes myself when I was young.
Everything in quotes is right and wrong. Right in that you pat yourself on the back for believing in yourself. Wrong in that if you input garbage information, your output will also be garbage.

"You can't call me out. The reason? I'm not wrong."
Good lord. The moment someone says that, we go past reasonable suspicion and go straight to "yeah you're probably full of shit." It's fine to be wrong, hell it's fine to be salty about being wrong... but if you go so far as to say I'm not wrong because I say I'm not? You lose immediately.

I’d be interested to see what this guy’s service record is. I’d bet money he probably served 4 mediocre years with nothing of note happening before he got out, and has been riding that high of ‘I’m a grunt’ ever since.
