All brilliant photos
Number 12 is superb... again, another excellent video - thanks.
Thanks John, glad you connected with number 12. Thanks for your kind supportive comments.
I think I agree with your choice for a favourite. That book looks great too 👍
Simon Burn thanks for watching. Glad you liked an image. The books been very popular, some good reviews on my website. Cheers
15 and 16 for me. I like your approach with little, but quality gear and knowing exactly what it does. Combine this with a great sense for light and composition and the world looks amazing. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Gilles. I appreciate your kind words. Yes one camera and lens seems to be working for me for the last year or so fo 95% of what I'm doing. Really appreciate your positive contribution to my channel. Thanks a lot.
The light in photo 08 is beautiful, also love the underwater leaves in three others.
Thank you John
Another nice video James. My favourite was No 12.
tim brown thanks a lot Tim. I appreciate your support. Glad you connected with an image.
lots of strong choices there; I easily quite liked at least half. If pushed to choose two, I'd go with #5 & #10. Thanks again for the great vlog.
Thank you Jason. Im glad you connected with the images and thanks for your positivity about my efforts. Really appreciate your support.
I really enjoy the pace of your videos James. No 3 is my favourite, probably because I'm fishing daft - but I also like the blur in the figure, contrasting with the stillness of the scene.
Thank you Malcolm. I appreciate your encouragement. Yes I regret not speaking to the fisherman now as we could have created a unique scene there but as you say this way it’s true to life and genuine. I’m glad you connected with the video. Thanks
Stunning images James
Thanks a lot Darren.
Great location, we might have to check it out ourselves as I Loved the photos. Gem
Thank you. You’re very kind. It’s a great location. Was good enough to inspire Wordsworth.
James Bell - Landscape Photography I will subscribe and watch some more during the week on location vlogging currently 👍🏻 Gem
10 & 12. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for commenting. Glad you liked a couple of the images.
Excellent video James. I’ve done a couple of videos from here as well. It’s just a magical place.
Thanks Alex
No 12 for me James
Thank you Andrew. Glad you chose 12.
My fav is number 9
More than a few are good images James, my favorite is #15. That leading line defined by the wall leading into the lake and the strong vibrant greens and autumn color in the distance sets it apart.
Thanks Bill. Glad you connected with a few images. Hard to take a bad shot at places like this. Thanks for commenting.
Hi James,
No16 for me, I think it would have worked well with the 90mm as well. Ao you have the 21mm ?
Ron
Ron Williams yes I agree however I didn’t want to miss the light in the lens change like in my last video. I don’t have the 21mm had one in the past. If I get chosen as a weekly winner in the Hasselblad X You competition I’ll go for the 21mm. Thanks
Really enjoy your style James and great to see how you work your compositions. Great work mate 👍🏻
Andrew Willock thank you Andrew. I appreciate that. Plenty more content to come.
Number 10 is my favourite!
By the way: What crazy vlogging cam do you use? Is that a following flying drone?
Thank you. Glad you connected with an image. I’m using a 360 camera. No drones here.
@@JamesBellLandscapePhotography Thank you. It looks like a magic vlogging cam.
Love your images iam going to try here soon lol 📷❤️
Great images James, landscape looks better to me👍
Great to see a vlogger who takes there time with a quiet and relaxed manner 😀
Thank you Craig. I appreciate your support.
1, 8, 12, 14 are doing it for me :)
Stunning surroundings James.
Thank you Kim. Glad you liked a few images. Thanks
2, 5, 12, 13
c l thank you
James - which tripod mount/head do you use? Happy with it?
It’s the Arca Swiss monoball PO. Very happy indeed. So much so I’ve bought a second one. Will never need for another tripod head again.
Hi
I was wondering how this camera the one you have or the latest Hasselblad X1D II 50C performs in very low light, for example , how it performs in galaxy shooting , stars shooting precisely shooting night landscapes?
Could you please elaborate if you have any experience in it.
Thank you .
I don’t have much experience of that sorry. However the sensor is fantastic in low light.
Love this vlog mate, what superb light on the last comp, love the pano 👍
Thanks Alan. Can’t beat the warming light at the end of the day. Got lucky here with the weather and really pleased with the images. A joy to be out. Wasn’t even a Friday.
@@JamesBellLandscapePhotography could you imagine what it would have been like had it been James 😂😂
Another very interesting video James, I like hearing how you think when faced with a composition! It always amazes me that any photographer is happy copying someone else's composition, surely it's the measure of a competent photographer to be original! The aspect ration of the Hassy seems to really suit many of the scenes you come across, I know it's not coincidence and it's more a case of you working it to your advantage. Cheers.
Thank you for your continued support with my content. I appreciate your kind words. Yes that is the most rewarding part for me, seeing the unseen in a place many others visit. It is that which keeps me going. I’m enjoying the 4:3 aspect ratio. When I see 35mm 3:2 ratio images I took in the past I feel they appear too wide and thin these days. Really enjoying my photography vlogs at the moment and with support and encouragement from decent people such as yourself long may it continue. Thanks
