I got the Oddor Gear version with Hall sensors and a metal shifter knob
I guess that you could wrap the shaft with felt or something similar to lessen the noise?
I tied a few elastic bands to the shaft and it worked quite well!
hey one question if i have like a regular flat top desk how do you think i should go about setting it up? thanks!
On Amazon you can find Sim Racing Profile with Desk Clamp, you can bolt it to the profile and then clamp it to your desk

Doesnt plug into your base, plugs into your PC, so yes
Mine stop registering on the pc after three months of using it

Anyone have the same issue as me? I have this shift I tried to use the sequential mode, and it wouldn’t go up, it would just go back to neutral. In forza it wouldn’t work.
Not sure Forza supports Sequential Shifters. :/

@@Sloshy ah no worries, I could've worded myself more politely too, but concerning this shifter, are you aware of any easy solutions for mounting it to a desk? I want to get a rig really badly but can't afford any.
@@ka-uy8yhdrill out holes and then use different bolts for more stability like i did myself.

I cannot get it to work with Assetto Corsa though
are you on PC? Mine worked just fine
@Sloshy I am on PC, it will see it properly in content manager, but not in the actual game, very frustrating, I have tested and it is outputting correctly (shows up correctly in usb controllers as well) and I can use it in Project cars 3 you can map it just fine, But not in AC.
@@TeeJay.1292 Strange, have you ticked Use H-Pattern shifter? Mine worked perfectly on AC
@Sloshy I have yes, it's very weird, Idk why it works and maps in CM and not in AC itself.
