Awesome video! My father has painted historical war miniatures for over 30 years, we used to travel the country with the Horden wargaming club (that he started with some friends) going to war game shows and he'd win prizes for his historical accuracy So I showed him your paratroopers and thought you did a fantastic job.
* Pushes up nerd glasses * _Technically,_ that's not a Thunder Warrior, but a Space Marine in Mk 1 "Thunder" pattern power armor. Which is to say, the early space marines were just put in the same armor as the Thunder Warriors during the Unification Wars. Making this a distinction without a difference, except to ruthless pedants.
That Thunder Warrior doesn’t look like he should be on the battlefield but rather playing for a Sons of Horus Dreadball team instead. I’m just really loving the Gka Mora red Gobo long coat. Sasha Krakov figure looks like she kill an awful lot of enemies with her two handed warhammer or is it a war axe. Anyway I think she’s brilliantly painted by you.
I love that you painted a Sorscha mini! I got into war games by playing Warmachine and those minis have a special place in my heart. The first minis I painted were the old metal Khador battle group box. The first ones I felt I did a decent job on were the old metal widowmakers, also khador minis.
The Bolt Action Paratrooper is very battle of Arnhem from the 2nd World War. If you have seen the movie A Bridge Too Far, then this model really has the feels of that movie.
Wib: I don't really do historical minis Wib, 2025: So I've been making progress on my Imperial Japanese Army project, here's 20 troops doing a banzai charge in 1945
I always thought the Epic Orks were armed with Heavy Plasma Guns since they looked most like that from the old plastic 40K Ork sprues, but I guess at that scale it really just needs to read "big gun". TBH, I don't even remember if Orks could still get Plasma at that point in 40K, been too long.
Happy to see the model I sent in has been painted. Glad Sorcha got some paint on her. Two for two with weird bases. First the Hex base and now this. Fun. Can we get a GorkaMorka base next?
very nice spread of mini's I recently got that middle librarian with tome as he was known, the middle guy without the helmet. I hope I can do him justice though not sure which chapter I want to paint him as I have a few on the go.
Great video! I recall you mentioning your love of the old formula nuln oil and tin bitz. I chanced upon a couple of older pots that seem to have some life left in them. Would you like them?
Finding products made by smaller creators like the green stuff tentacle makers, patenting them and then using the patents to drive the originals out of business. Stealing art. Trying to shut down someone's youtube channel. Having a Nazi symbol on one of their rollers for awhile. Bad customer service. All sorts of stuff, really.
They also weaponize the EU patent office to essentially steal other peoples ideas (because it didn't have an EU patent) and then forbid the original creators from selling their stuff in Europe because they, GSW, now have a scummy patent on that item.
They seem to have spent the last few years filing spurious copyright claims, patent infringement claims, stealing photos of painted minis and pretending they painted them, etc. It's also been alleged that they have stolen other people's product designs (which is ironic if true, given how they are trying to stop other people 'stealing' things they can't reasonably own, so they're having it both ways)... You can Google green stuff world together with words like copyright, patent, legal, etc and various cases and claims will come up. Also try searching with 'Niehues' to see claims that they essentially stole a roller design and banned the original designer from selling it, etc.

That Thunder Warrior miniature looks amazing! The gappy teeth on the Red Gobbo are a great detail.

I love these videos. It is just such a chill vibe.

Always chuffed to see Thunder Warriors. Deeply impressed by your Epic Orks. Keep up the amazing work!
Seeing some warjacks in your colors would be awesome!
Such a great painter wib!!

This is giving me the motivation to get building and painting again! Thank you Wib!
Awesome painting as always. Good to see some Warmachine, and hopefully we will see a Warjack or two to go alongside your Warcaster 🤞.

Wib: I don't really do historical minis
Wib, 2025: So I've been making progress on my Imperial Japanese Army project, here's 20 troops doing a banzai charge in 1945
Once again Wib mixes up an Ork Heavy Plasma. (see the RT dread restoration). That's continuity folks. 😂
Great haul, your videos always inspire me to actually go and paint some of my own minis. Hope you keep up the great work
Great spread of minis Wib! Always nice to see your work.
You have to respect the insanity of doing a lamenter at 8mm scale, with chequers and heart symbol even!
Those were awesome, definitely worth the wait
Just picked up this months copy of White Dwarf 495 and noticed it has a 10 page gallery featuring the Lamenters 🤘
Chill video, perfect to watch before bed.

I really enjoy this series
HELL YES! WIB TIME!!!!!
I might get some privateer press models or at least look in to it a bit more. Luv that Thunderwarrior type Marine .
Love you guys's content!
You're such a talent at painting wib!
Happy to see the model I sent in has been painted. Glad Sorcha got some paint on her. Two for two with weird bases. First the Hex base and now this. Fun. Can we get a GorkaMorka base next?
As always the best thing to come out of Derby keep up the exhalant content
Funny fact; fanatics are the only Fantasy miniatures that have (probably) always been based on round bases!
God I’ve missed these videos, thanks for showing us!!
Your Sorcha is amazing and I love her. I have maybe painted a "few"...
these are always a treat

Sword looks way cooler curved. Reminds me of those Duck Dodger energy Sabers. Can you do a tutorial on making that glowing energy effect?
Come on, Wib. We know we will have to wait for months. Just like we are waiting for White Dwarf Issue 100.
Awesome!
Brilliant video sir.
Nice!
2:22...Bill Bailey
Happy New Year to you two. ^^
What was the music at the end? I definitely played that game in my Speccy.
the skin on your squat looks amazing! what paints did you use?
Hope you’re doing well!
Nooice!
If I end up with a spare Warjack I'll send it in!

Wait what did green stuff world do?

How’d I get my Plastic RT marines to you!
What's wrong with Green Stuff World? What are they doing?
Just Google "green stuff world controversy" and there's plenty to read and watch. Way too much to discuss here.
goblin green bases are best
Can confirm GSW are kind of scummy.
Ive known GSW can be scummy, they had a big scandal about a year ago, what was your experience?
how or why is GSW scummy? would like something to back that claim up
They use stolen artwork on their packaging, attacked a youtuber for using Vallejo paints they bought from a local game store and that kind of stuff.
Looks like they steal other ppl's stuff. Vallejo paints seem to have taken legal action about the colour changing paints.
They also weaponize the EU patent office to essentially steal other peoples ideas (because it didn't have an EU patent) and then forbid the original creators from selling their stuff in Europe because they, GSW, now have a scummy patent on that item.
