- Yonex Percept 100D - 18x19 is trendy right now!
Agassi seems to be playing with it as a main right now. We have Karue Sell climbing the atp ranking with the percept 100d and toroline k-pop (make sure to follow his journey!) @MyTennisHQ
my go-to strings with percept 100d at the moment:
-Toroline K-Pop
-Solinco Tour Bite 1.25
Part of my "ultimate racquet of choice" journey.
This or Prestige MP or Solinco Whiteout 18x20 or Prestige Tour? :)
In short:
Looking for a grinder's weapon of choice. "counterpuncher/baseliner" . Control oriented enough to keep the ball forever in play but responsive enough to consistently apply pressure to opponent.

The red shirt may have the most uncoordinated backhand I’ve ever saw. What in the world is he doing. The opponent I assume is also just learning the backhand ?
@@TimTheMusicMan 😂 cooking
I am now using confidential full bed 53lbs, i had tour bite soft on tbe mains at first but string bed is way too soft and felt muted. I also added total of 5-6 grams to 3.5-9.5 and 12. Now I get the punch I like for my winners. Didn't have enough plough before, definitely benifits from head heavier balance. Unfortunately not enough control for advanced players, should have slightly thinner beam. Much better racket for intermediate players can develop shots with this racket rather than trying to tweak what's already good.
Thanks for sharing your view. Have you tried tour bite ? Confidential is nice but tour bite might offer more spin. Tour bite soft has less „magic”. At the moment my setup is more HL with the leather grip i guess its a preference .
Yes I also have tour bite but haven't tried it on this racket, I find tour bite little boardy and not enough feel in full bed. Weight on the handle increase stability but also the power dramatically I think control is what lacking here. I go head light or head heavy depending on the racket as long as its not in between :))
Btw confidential 1.20 has significantly more spin than tour b 1.25 and lots more feel to help with your accuracy imo... :)
@@sinand881 Ye, Maybe but i cant play with thin strings.. they are a bit unpredictable in the response (launch angle and power). In 18x20 maybe…18x19 i tried razor soft hybrid 125 with 1.20 and razor code 1.20 and it was not for me. In the past i was using 1.20 hyper g in a blade 18x20 it was nice but still…1.25 and 1.30 is my usual direction
A friend of mine demoed the stick and loved it and switched, I tried it out about 2 hrs and liked it as well , the 18x19 string pattern is probably the best along with the iso 305 -18x19
What about the prostaff 97 ?
I think it would serve you well 💪🏽💯
@@Game-Set-Match i usually prefer softer sticks. Maybe I will demo it at some point but its not a part of my tournament of racquets :) tfight 315 was my „pro staffy test” (but its foam filled) . I guess diadem Elevate tour also lands there (but its foam filled). In both cases (Elevate and Tfight 315) i haveNo issue with comfort but the feel of the sweet spot and its size is definitely different with those frames.
You will still take tc95 to tournament over this
@@mteca5093 haha i am trying not to but i feel pretty confident that i will manage to switch. Then i will have to defend the choice in my local tournaments :)
@@dandan.tennis tc95 is like a 97 or 98...test the tc95 to other 97 or 98 rackets head size...
