I'm dabbling into creating my own music for the vids, and although I'm in the embryonic stages of learning to produce and DJ, I'll eventually get better over time and eventually I hope it will add a distinct element to my vids and enhance the overall experience
When you see that scenario, it's the worst case situation for the creator. Nothing I would ever do on my own volition. Franky it's catastrophic for the video's performance

Great video. I love Riu properties. Usually a great value for the money. You always say, the food is very decent for a Riu. That's because Riu hotels have good food. In most of your videos you praise Riu for the food right before you say "for a Riu". Anyway, Keep up the great work!!! Cheers.

Actually, I don't think they would even let me in alone. When making content, I really do prefer the travel solo, but I would like to see some sandals resort so I might have to call in somebody special to join me if I ever go there.

A slight overview - I used it as a staging hotel to settle-in, acclimate, rest, organize and prep for the relentless month ahead. I was there for four days and certainly garnered enough experiences to provide a full comprehensive report, but I'll save that for another time when I go back and can fully showcase the entire property and create a comprehensive video with the high standard of quality that I guarantee and you all deserve

I can't be sure, because if the music is a problem, they will warn you ahead of time and then I have to reformulate it Into more of a complete original work. This one just disappeared and I've never had that happen in all of my years on CZcams. So dejected because I lost my initial 10,000 in 12 hours. When reposted, hardly anybody watches the second time and the algorithm places the video in purgatory. It's devastating for a video like this with so much money and time invested. The video won't blow up, unfortunately, but it should still do well over the long run. A tragedy for a creator, but certainly nothing to sweat in life overall.

The wind was absolutely terrible all month, standard winds every day between 15 and 20 mph and gust consistently 25 to 40 mph. Terribly annoying and honestly enough to stop me from coming back.

My sons stayed at the Riu Republica James and they are in their mid 30's and they couldn't believe how terrible it was, the food was completely unedible they lived on the jerk chicken which they loved, there were drunk people doing crazy shit all the time, vomit everywhere not cleaned up, the only bonus was the beach on a good day when the weather wasn't raining or windy, cant control the weather, but for a 5 star hotel it was disgusting, mold in the room, they hated it and they paid 2300 for a week Canadian. But the previous year they stayed at the Riu Vallarta in Puerta Vallarta and it was fantastic, food, beach everything. I think i will only stay at Riu Palaces from now on.

Combine the preceding with a lively party crowd and that is is certainly a recipe for Tomfoolery,hijinks, and yes, questionable behavior. It's the number one party hotel in Punta Cana, with a conglomeration of young, exuberant, Energetic, and outgoing people from Around the world gathering to live it up and party in the #1 party city in the Caribbean. and $2300 Canadian is approximately $1700 USD. 99% of Canadian book hotels and flights together. Assuming Canadian flights are $300 apiece round-trip, that means the hotel cost for two Sons Is 1100 USD. If they stayed for six nights, that's around $100 a person. Usually it's a 7 day package. For that price, what exactly were they expecting? I can't walk out of McDonald's personally for under $30, and I don't know anywhere else where you can eat and drink as much as you want, all day and all night, have access to some of the best beaches in the world, eight pools, entertainment, and four of the best parties Punta for no extra cost.
@@Coolist I understand what your saying James its just you have expectations at that price point. We paid pretty much the same at the Majestic Elegance and it was pretty much perfection grant it the weather was iffy that week in December.

Yup, Jamaica is just inherently expensive - 30-100% premium compared to Mexico and Punta Cana. I mentioned this and one of my first videos and I absolutely agree about the value, not just that reggae, but in visiting Jamaica in general.
Jamaican food is bomb!! So even if it’s a Riu the food will be lit!!!! In my experience Mexico & Dominican Republics food isn’t as good so the Riu there’s food is below average.
Agreed, that Jamaican rius we're absolutely more polished in the aspects of food, entertainment, class, and service. Amenities, options, pools, beaches, size, price, and value is what prevented them from being the best rius in terms of overall experience.
We stayed here in Febuary 2024. I talked to you. We paid 1800 each Canadian including our flights and transfer from airport. Very cheap. The resort was well worth it.but the beach is not good. The town of Montigo bay is unsafe and terrible.
