35/40. I'm happy with that. My mum would play a lot of this style of music when I was younger. I'll be 43 the day after Christmas.
*An era when radio stations defied popular music genre in their daily play rotations.*
*This quiz reminded me of that. Thank you for the memories!*
40/40. Graduated H.S. in 67. Started playing drums for a local garage band in 65. Yes, the quiz was easy...especially for someone that was interested in music throughout the 60's. I bought a drum set when I retired and still play along with music from the 60's and 70's.
i graduated high school in 68. I also knew all 40 songs. But I couldn't remember the singer on 4 of them. I was always interested in music. I took piano lessons for several years, but learned the hard way: all the lessons in the world (and adequate practice) don't make up for being born with no talent!
So very very VERY easy! 40/40. But then my Heardle 60s score is 100/100. IF you were lucky enough to grow up in the 1960s, you have the best-ever sound-track of life!
I agree. If you were a typical teenager in the 60's
40/40! The best decade for music!
Missed the Jim Reeves song! 39 out of 40!
Got nearly all of them. Some of them I recognized the singer(s) before the song.
me,my dad got all of them!
I remember them.The 60’s was a great decade for Music.Woodstock
was the Icing on the Cake.Peace and
Love,to all my Brothers and Sisters.
❤️🙏👏🙌👍😍🥰😇🥹🌸🌺🌷❤️.This is my last comment.
28/40
35 missed some of the early 60. Was still a kid then
40/40. Great songs. No surprises.
I was born in the 70s, 80s is my favourite musical era, but oddly I've done better on this than both of those made by you! I blame my mother and father, both in their late teens/early twenties in the 60s. Married for 48 years (1967) and sadly no longer with us, but they did play me a lot of good music from their youth. Thanks for the memories, and the fun X
Get all right yippee not bad 4 a 69 year old😅
That was fun. I knew the British ones far better than the American. Not surprising. Good workout for an ancient brain. 🇬🇧👍
38/40 what a great quiz!
40/40. Actually, I caught you in a couple of boo-boos - the Paul Anka and Jim Reeves songs were from the 1950s. "Put Your Head on My Shoulder" was recorded and released in 1959, while "He'll Have to Go" was recorded and released in '58 and charted in '59.
Well done! :) Yes, as I wrote in the description, some songs may have been released before, but is included because they made the charts in the 60's :)
I was expecting to really suck at a 60s quiz but managed a satisfactory 28/40, despite missing a couple that I really knew (but just couldn't think of the right titles in time).
38 of 40. Again, I knew almost all of these, but had trouble with the titles. Thank you for posting.
38 out of 40. I'm a Sixties gal! 😊
I got just about all of them. Nice memories.
40/40. I was born in 1955. Graduated High School in 1973,
31/40. Some where a little before my time!
Great quiz from the best era, managed to get 36, thanks for doing it
34/40. Live these quizzes
Another quiz done, another disappointment to myself. Missed 12.
That’s pretty damn good if you ask me 👍🏻👏🏼
That's not to bad. We'll done!
38 scored
Messed up the Loco- motion, calling it the Loco-motive, 🙄 and didn't recognize Mama Said.
All are Bubble Gum Popular Songs from the 1960's!!!
30/40
Blimey 34/40 A couple of those really stumped us, singing the lyrics but couldn't get the chorus haha Great fun quiz again sweetie, Thank you so much. big hugs Tracey and Andy x 😘
put your head on my shoulder(Paul anka)was in the 50s.
I got them all right. I was born in 1955.
Born in 1968 got 100 %
Gosh I love these songs ! Can you do a part 2, maybe with Ricky Nelson on it :) ? Great job. The clips are a bit short though
Thank you! Without spoiling too much, you might find what you’re looking for in my 60’s quiz with mixed difficulty 😀
@@QuizzyTunes ooh yay ! Thanks 😊
All of them apart from 1 it was my decade
20/40. Mogło być lepiej...

39 of 40. Couldn't remember the name of "Build Me Up, Buttercup"
co-written by Mike d'Abo who sang lead on Manfred Mann's The Mighty Quinn and later teamed up with Mike Smith of the DC5 and did a couple of musicals like Evita.
Only one I missed completely was Mama Said. Got the song and the artist on about 30 and the rest I either got the song or the artist but couldn't nail them both.
But Louis Armstrong was 40s not 60s. ;)
Well done! 😊 From what I can find, «What a wonderful World» was first released in ‘67 and topped the UK charts in ‘68 😊
39 out of 40 let's twist again got wrong
We got 31/40 knew the song just couldn’t think what they were called
32/40 Me too. I could hear the song in my head but darned if I could come up with a title. Thanks to QuizzyTunes!
