Back then, there were only three stations. We lived in NorCal, in the gold country foothills. We could only get reception for NBC. But in the late 60s, dad installed a new antenna that was directional. I then became a full time remote control-not just on/off/volume/horizontal/vertical, but I was charged to find the antenna’s sweet spot for each channel. We didn’t get a color TV until the mid 70s.

Some of my favorites weren't on here, like Gomer Pyle, My Three Sons, Dennis the Menace, Leave it to Beaver, Rawhide, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Dragnet, Gilligan's Island, Mr. Ed, The Courtship of Eddie's Father, Perry Mason, The Adventures of Superman, The Munsters, and my all time favorite... What do you think of my slight obsession with the Avengers? I have the box set of the series. I didn't start watching them until they first went into syndication and thought it was super cool. Must have been early to mid 70s. Didn't find out about the Honor Blackman era until after college. I was first introduced to her as Pussy Galore. I'm a big Bond fan too. Missed a couple, mostly only because I thought Bewitched was I Dream of Jeannie and I confused Bonanza for Gunsmoke, but I definitely didn’t see a couple of those shows

Missed 5. I recalled the original version of the Gunsmoke theme, before they went to one hour and color. Wasn't a fan of the Munsters / AF. First TV arrived in the house when I was five. Narragansett Bay

I missed 2, Laramie and Rin Tin Tin. I would have thought there'd be more westerns from that era. The Virginian, High Chapparal, Rawhide, Branded, The Rifleman, Paladin, The Rebel, westerns were as big then as cop shows are today.
