And the investment you make on the program is roughly about 5k BRL, so, pretty much 10x cheaper than most programs. and you get to move to the U.S

@@cemdagl45221440p is the sweetspot for both. If u wanna be safe because u play both genres, try 1440p 240hz
Well structured video! And its important to keep those updated..
Gotta admit, my Benq 2780Q I bought last year got outdated in terms of raw numbers, but Im still amazed by its color quality and all the nice features. And everytime I turn on the game engine, I know that Im up for a treat. I feel lucky for kinda not missing the shot on this one, since I basically trusted reviews and my research alone. So I still go with the advice that if you have the chance to check out a prefered monitor in person, do it. Cause you cant really tell if u like the colors or brightness and such if not in person. Numbers and all are nice but in the end, what matters the most is that if you like the quality you are looking at, if the contrast suits you, if its bright or dark enough etc (given you've already chosen the right panel and features for your specific needs already).
So since you will be looking at it a lot of your time, Id choose this kind of criteria (color quality, brightness, contrast, reaction time etc) over a little more hertz, let alone chosing another screen just cause its a little faster or a few bucks cheaper etc. Ofc it all depends on what it is you wanna do with it exactly, but you better like what you see or you might regret it in the long run.
Thanks for sharing!

Which one did you get? Are you happy with it? I'm in the same situation lol
@@burningicecube2486 so rn I came to the conclusion that it would be smarter to wait for new OLED monitors coming out this year to hit the market so these older monitors will drop in price. Since switching to PC I find myself fawning over the graphics rather than refresh rate.leaning towards going with a 4k 144hz but 1440 OLED 240hz is enticing.
@@wheresmysandwich505that depends on your GPU then, many GPUs won’t run newer games at 4k 60+fps without upscaling, and 4k is much harder to run than 1440p ultrawide and costs way more with current GPU prices. But for future proofing then sure.
I’m about to pull the trigger on a Samsung odyssey G5 34” ultrawide, seems like a good deal when it’s on sale for under $400. I’ve been playing at 1080p60hz my whole life and it’s not enough for fast paced first person shooters anymore 😂
something important to remember about ultrawide is that it will be more taxing on your GPU, generally less than half the decrease in FPS of going up a resolution level, for example, 21:9 ultrawide 1440p is about 1/3 of the way between 16:9 1440p and 16:9 4K in terms of GPU performance. so if you are planning on getting ultrawide and are looking up performance specs for your GPU at a certain resolution, either look for ultrawide FPS numbers specifically, or remember to bake that in to the 16:9 numbers you find while researching
yes that makes sense, i also research about getting uw 1440p monitors and always look at gpu performance of 4k to be on the safe side. If it can achieve 70+ fps on 4k high it will be enough for 120+ on 1440 uw
From other benchmarking channels I’ve seen, 21:9 pushes more pixels so VRAM and memory speed is important to have enough of. Typically it’s about 15-25% of a performance hit on average games IF you’re limited by GPU and have some CPU headroom.
So for a 100fps benchmark at 1440p you can expect about 75-85fps, of course some games will not be that demanding like league, Valorant, cs:go, etc. You can always turn down graphics settings one notch from ultra to high or high to medium and get a boost from 10% to 30% more frames depending on the game and your CPU/GPU combo.
I have the Neo G9 and upgraded to the OLED version. Let me tell you, I am not disappointed at all! It is such a vibrant, immersive monitor. Yes, it is pricey, but wow, personally, I haven’t seen anything better. i am running a Ryzen 7 7800X3d , Nvidia RTX 4090 ( thinking of switching to a AMD 7900XTX)
Just adding this tip since it's related to monitors, if your monitor has terrible color banding (where switching from very different colors and contrasts, like black and white, creates rings on the screen as the color transitions), try turning the overdrive setting on the monitor to something like balanced or picture quality. My G27Q had terrible color banding whenever it faded to a black screen but changing the overdrive settings fixed it.
I'm thinking about buying the same monitor, g27q. I read that is a bit slower in terms of response time. Is it really noticeable? How's gaming on it? Image quality and ghosting?
@@matteobuoninconti618 I haven't had any issues with ghosting or response time beign too low after changing overdrive to picture quality. Everything looks really nice on the monitor (and bright, this monitor has really good brightness)

I got a 1440 hp omen monitor initially, wasn’t happy with it, text was blurry and the colors weren’t great, just felt like I was looking at pixels all the time. I returned it and got a gigabyte m27u in 4k, really happy with it, the pixels are so dense that I can’t really see them at all, text is amazing, everything looks sharp and impressive. It only cost about a hundred bucks more, but it was really worth it.

i wish i could buy this Thing but im from Germany and in Germany theres a similar Monitor but it cost more Money thats stupid. 😅
Is there any black or stretching when scrolling pages or moving quickly in certain games?

I bought the LG 27GR83Q-B for myself for Christmas. Went from 240Hz 1080p Alienware to this 240Hz 1440p LG and I absolutely love it and recommend it! Oh and I bought my son the Acer Predator XB283K V3bmiiprx 28" 4K monitor as well and he loves it too! Good choices recommended here.
Love my Ultra Gear. I find that a 27" monitor is too small for me though, so I went with the 32. They make such great monitors!!
I think we have to talk about OLED TV's aswell. I've been using a 55" LG B9 OLED TV as my "Monitor" and it has been amazing! 120 Hertz and GSYNC, and no Burn-In to this Date. I have never seen one of these 27" OLED Monitors, but i'd like to think that my TV looks better, even though it's slower. The sheer Size of the Panel is just something to behold.
S95C is the king, 55", 65" and 77" w/ 144Hz VRR support. Obviously not a monitor though, make the space and use a side monitor for taskbars icons and windows
How can you use that huge a tv as a monitor ffs? You’re supposed to sit back when looking at such a big tv.
@@paradiseb5950It's not that difficult if you have the space for a second "island" desk or stand. Just need to get the right distance. My main desk only has a side monitor and KB/mouse. Perfect for the cat to chill on it while I game!
Lg c2 42" here, its great for work, over 2 years now, no burn-in.
Slow pace games look AWESOME on this monitor, 120hz is enough (for me)
Thanks Jason, I've been a 32:9 user for at least 8 years now.
I seam to find the 1440p cards for 1080p play seam to work the best. These new IPS screens you got me into during the pandemic has made the 1080p experience better than ever. Especially for Sim racing. I have not tried a curved monitor yet. You don't talk to often about them.
What monitor do you have ?
@@fedexnman Spectre 43.8 the last year. Was 3 27inch screens before.
Great overview … what were your thoughts on the 32” 4K OLED’s at CES? The Aorus was the only one with DP 2.1 … probably what I will get.
Bought the LG 27GR75Q-B, really nice monitor, pretty happy about the buy
Good for Xbox series X?
Bought a VA 165hz panel, worse shit ever, terrible black smearing, stick with IPS for gaming, thank me later
100% agree my brother has va 144hz litreally worst dession ever
Yep and people said more expensive VA are good…..yeah my bf had one that was like $300+ and it looked colorful and blacks were deep but the ghosting and smearing was horrible
I bought a Gigabyte 165hz VA monitor a few years ago and I initially hated it so badly. The black smearing was horrendous and made gaming such a bad experience. After spending about 2 hours fiddling with settings, I found a good custom setting that almost got rid of all the smearing but sacrifice some of the deep black. That being said, If I could go back in time I would've bought a lower refresh rate IPS monitor.
Lmao 🤣 don’t listen to this person
Odyssey G7 VA 240hz was and still is a great panel especially if you find it cheap, saying all VAs are bad is misinformation. That said, a bad VA is worse than poor performing differing panels
Literally posted a day after I ordered my new 4k monitor 😂.
I ended up with a KTC M27P20PRO just because I really wanted mini LED for the backlight. So far so good, and it's the exact same panel as the CoolerMaster 4k monitor
Very instructive, I've been thinking about getting a 1440p OLED 144hz monitor but those price YIKES... I'll probably hold off for several more months hopping prices drop to a more justifiable price.
I’m gonna get a 240hz 1440p monitor so I can click circles better
If u plan on going with an oled, remember that they have issues with gray and dark gray shades, they will look dirty or like if they have interference... If u use dark mode in windows then forget it as u will see dark horizontal lines through the dark gray shades. The reviewers dont usually mention this because they just dont test them properly before publishing the review. But if u dig for the information about the gray shades on oled u will find it.
Using oled for 2 years now, no dark mode, haven't even heard about this problem till now
Awesome video! I just finished a build with a 6700XT, looking to pick up a 1440p monitor. Leaning toward the Acer Nirto XV272U, but also interested in the Sceptre E275B-QPD168. Do you have any information on the Spectre? I know its a little less Hz but is also $50 less.

I am going to buy a budget 4k monitör been eyeing Lg 27GR93U-B I checked some other monitors like Samsung's 144 hz 4k Odyssey but among the budget ones I checked the one I mentioned seemed like the best choice to me. I am going to be sacrificing HDR here but that is something I am going to be okay with. Would you recommend this monitor? I own an rtx 4080 so my pc is fully able to take advantage of the monitor. Currently I own a 1080p monitor for work and 55'' LG oled tv for gaming but having to switch between the two feels like a chore.

Hi Jason, what are your thoughts on the Samsung Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen?
The Walmart app constantly has the Acer Nitro 32in curved monitor on sale for $130 shipped. I just got one, and am building my first PC for video editing and light gaming. Add in two smaller 24in ONN monitors, and boom. Heck of a sweet 1080 setup.

Hey, PC Builder, planning to buy MAG 325CQRXF. Need your recommendation please, thanks.
I got the XV271U and it's pretty great for me, almost no ips glow (only a little bit on the top left corner) and no dead pixels on mine, the only issue regret I have is that I should have bought 2 instead of 1
What a timing! Currently I am looking to buy a new monitor.
I wanted to upgrade from my LG32GK850G but everything is just worse sadly. I thought of buying one of the OLED ones but those are all bad. Either they are 27 inch which is too small or 24 inch and only at 4K which makes no sense to ever play at that resolution. So the only 2K ones are too small and the only bigger ones are slightly too big and 4K
And on other monitors I kinda have an equal issue, G-sync is also something so few monitors have.
Just got an lg oled flex coming tomorrow for my setup cant wait shit looks bad ass
Hey Jason, do you know much about the Asus VG27AQL3A? It caught my eye because it has built in speakers but it doesn't have hardly any reviews or recommendations from big CZcamsrs.
Great video. Will last the length of the Oled monitors
Love your Videos man keep it up
Glad you're enjoying the content! And thank you for tuning in :)
This channel is amazing!!! U guys do the BEST!!!!!
Thanks for that! So glad you found us :)
absolutely amazing review, thanks
Thanks for watching!
Hey Jason, what do you think of the LG UltraGear 34GN850P-B? It's available for 620€ in Germany.
Is the Acer XV272U V3 better than the Gigabyte M27Q? Better contrast ratio, better response time and colors?
Hey jason, juat wondering i was going to getca curved monitor but is it a very good idea, i plan on doing keyboard and mouse gaming but also a bit of casual gaming on my couch. So is curved a good option for me? Because i have heard that ita not good atbthe wrong viewing angle and that peiple get motion sickness
That's going to be personal taste I'm afraid!
i just went back to 1080p from 1440p and got the vg259qm. still keeping my 1440p display but i want more frames. From what I'm hearing it sounds like I made the right choice
Hi, what do you think about BenQ EL2870U? I care mostly about input lag and response time
I hope you still see this but I'm looking to buy either the Msi mag34cqr or the gigabyte g34wqc. I can pair the gigabyte with the m27q as secondary but what is a good second monitor for the Msi mag34cqr?
What about the MSI MAG341CQP QD-OLED for an oled? Where would you think that stands? Looks like it is better than the alienware? I could be wrong
When should I be looking for the new 4k monitors? Any links to some teasers for them or hard facts?
Purchased the AW3423DWF yesterday. Absolute best monitor I could ever have. First ultrawide as well. Pairs decently well with my 3080 10gb which I will be holding on to until 5000 series or Rx 8000 series releases.
Monitor is definitely the best looking as of right now for its worth. If in USA, definitely recommend buying from Best Buy and getting their 4 year warranty on it as they do cover burn-in replacement. Dell is kind of lackluster when it comes to warranty. the $150 BB warranty is more than worth it. And if in 2 years you get burn in and they don't carry the monitor anymore, you'll get a full refund and can use that to get an upgraded monitor instead!!
Can you tell me how is Philipps Evnia 27M1N5500ZA. It has nano IPS 1440p and fitting within my budget.
i have just been looking for a gaming monitor thank you sooo much for making this
Hope this is helpful!!
Hi Jason! I saw you recommended the Gigabyte M34WQC. What do you think about the M34WQ since its IPS and a flat ultra-wide? Was hoping to read trusted reviews on this monitor...
Thank you for the informative video as always!
u might look into another flat ultrawide with 40" msi mag401qr
LG 27GR83Q-B Not avaliable in Australia. Do you have another option very similar? Perhaps the MSI G274QPX at $570 AUD
your videos are great man
Super happy with my LG - UltraGear 32” Nano IPS QHD 1-ms G-SYNC Compatible Monitor with HDR - Black (taken right from Best Buy's website). This monitor is amazing. Been playing Avatar Frontiers of Pandora for the last few days and the visuals are so amazing on this monitor. An OLED, in my opinion, would be the only thing that would make it look better. And, that is my Black Friday 2024 purchase. I'm going to be dropping all my extra into a separate account so I can finally join the OLED elite. Not sure if I'll upgrade to 4k at that point, or remain at 1440p... I really do like this resolution for gaming, and my 7900XT just rocks all the newer games at this resolution.
Yeah don’t waste ur money on oled. Ur got even going to run really high fps at 4k without frame gen from Nvidia, Depending on ur cpu an the games u run an the games dev’s but I’ll tell u now it sounds like u plan on wasting some fat funds my friend for minor to no real time performance increase. If u had the 7900xtx or a 4080 ti super an at least a 5800x3d, or 7800x3d. Or even better the 7950x3d. The last 2 CPU’s are what u need at high fps 4k with higher end gpu’s. Other wise ur not going to push 4k as high as u may think. Just please do more research before buyin. Look into the greys an black problems on oled pannels. Look into the leak side of things. See if new stuff’s coming out an when it may release an if the new stuff is or isn’t gonna make the old stuff drop hard. See if people are actually sayin that oled is fully solid or trash in areas. An find out which brands have the best oled panels with no problems an which are lying. I can give u step by steps here but I’m going on now 🤣 just start diggin my good sir!
I upgraded from 1440p 27" VA to 4k 42" lg c2 oled.
For movies - you won't ever go back to old monitors.
For productivity - 42 inch is a lot of space, sure it has its quirks, but after some getting used to its fine.
Gaming - i don't play much, Baldurs gate 3 in Underdark area looks fantastic, star wars fallen order with HDR looks also great but! My 3070ti is not able to push 60+ fps at 4k even in this old title so be careful as even 4090 not able to max out fps in 4k now.
I have no issues with OLED, maybe dimming on its own is somehow annoying, but panel is protecting itself from burn-in and I still hasn't got any in 2 years
Do you think they will sort the Gigabyte M27Q rev 2 out with a firmware update? I bought this monitor over the rev 1 thinking it was better 🙄 although I am still happy with my purchase.
what are your best recommendations for a 32" 240hz monitor at both low and mid range price points? thank you so much for your amazing videos and helpful information !
Sir benq pd2700q is best or benq pd2705q is best for animation and VFX learning with video editing and casual gaming
what monitor shold i go BenQ Mobiuz EX240N or HP OMEN 24 they are almos the same price at 174€
This just might be the most helpful and informative tech video of all time
So glad you found this video so useful! Hope you keep enjoying all the content :)
Really happy with my 32" G7 that i got a while ago but I think I got the upgrade bug with all these new monitors releasing.
Want to upgrade to one of this years OLED, but will wait for price drops. $900 for 27" is still quite expensive and $1100+ for 32" is too much.
I have a Alienware 1920x1080 240hz 27in monitor but always wanted another monitor & i was eyeballing the Samsung ViewFinity 3440x1440, QLED 100hz will that be a upgrade or downgrade visually? Its a 140hz decrease but i want something else with better resolution for gaming
I'm having issues with my M28U with Screen flickering. I've tried everything from turning resolution down, changing settings in the monitor itself all the way to plugging it into the wall alone. Have you had any issues with yours? If so what was your fix?
@PCBuilderChannel - apologies in advance as I don't know much about gaming, however, I'm in the market to get a new monitor. I don't do any gaming but I do watch movies and stream netflix on my laptop equipped with an Nvidia GTX 2070 Max -Q. Will a 144hz monitor provide motion smoothing for movies also, or is just for games? Is it totally different from a native 120hz panel TV that upscales videos (make them look like soap operas?) . Thanks in advance for your help.
You don’t need that on watching movies it is only applicable to games, even at 60hz the movies won’t be affected
When it comes to mobius monitor, I can only get my hands on 240n is it worse or better than the regular version ?
I am curious on why did you pick the Samsung G9 over the neo G9. Other than price is the neo G9 a worse monitor?
Awesome content!! Quick question.......whats up with the head gear? 🤔
It's been 30 degrees in New Orleans and the houses here aren't built for this weather!
Surprise to see the g5 is not on the list. I got mine on black Friday for a 32-inch for 225usd ( I paid 350 cad after tax and shipping). The price was so insane that I had to put pressure to enforce the contract.
To be honest, 32 inch is so big on my desk... I love it.
Thx Jason for helping me to be a more aware customer
For that price that's a good buy! Its just not well priced at the moment
Managed to get a LG 32GR93U for £380 down from £700 last week. Great monitor
Nice!
Do you know of an ultra or super ultra wide that’ll allow me to split the screen into three screens, with the center being my screen for gaming. Then the two sides being screens for discord and CZcams? I know there’s fancy windows or whatever, but I’d like it done without special software.
Picked up an LG OLED 27" 240hz for $625 at Best Buy -- (1/19/24).
Was an open-box "excellent" condition.
I want the 4K QD-OLED models which drop in February this year.
But at $1100 retail? You can get a 4070 TI and last year's OLED instead.
It'll be 1100 when it's dropped in the stores then marked down later in the year especially for black friday. That's probably when i'll be building a new pc and oled monitor. Waiting to see what amd cards and cpus are released this year before pulling the trigger on the xtx. Would rather get the 8000 series cpu/gpu
How do you like the monitor? Im also considering purchasing the lg oled 240hz open box from best buy
Hello Jason,
Manage to watch the whole video, learned a lot new and understood now some things which I did not understand before. However, let me ask. Is it possible to get your opinion about GIGABYTE G27Q 27inch?
So it seems like a fine Monitor, but I think the GS27Q has replaced it.
Great video as usual! If you do another video like this, would you please say what the lowest GPU you would pair with the monitors? I currently have a 7900XT and would love to know how high or low of a monitor to pair with it. Thank you!
1440p or 4K would be good with the 7900XT.
