Liberty Safe vs. Competition - Fire Rating Test

www.libertysafe.com - There are a lot of claims made by manufacturer's that their safes will perform as well as Liberty's in a fire even with a lower fire rating and less fireboard. To verify these claims, Liberty brought in several of the competitor's safes and tested them against Liberty Safe's superior fire rated safe.

Being a retired firefighter I wonder how the Colonial and the Revere safe will stand up to the high pressure fire hoses we used to use to put out a fire. Much more pressure than that water hose ;-) A local dealer was telling me that the door seal will actually expand when the safe reaches a certain temp. and will seal out water from the door opening.
