- We but Fireproof/fire-resistant safe in to party collapsed barn and burn the whole thing! And then after 20 hours we open the safe too se did it protect out valuable items? Don't try this extreme test at home :D

In Finland, fire department comes to burn your house down. And then everyone grills sausage and has a good time.
We all thought that it would burn much faster and with big flames. So they come to check that the building next to this won't burn.
Can you explain this a little further? You just call them and say that you are going to burn your shed and they will not try to stop you, but they will send a truck for many hours to watch you grill sausages? I assume it is not standard procedure to burn a collapsed building? And did you have to stay until late in the night until it stopped burning? I guess you can’t just leave? I have so many questions! ☺️
They were volunteer fire deparment guys and they practised a fire control. Or actually they didnt have to do it because the barn was so wet. 😀 But they guarded the fire and just hang out with us. And yes, there were people watching the fire in night.

That's really cool! Ty
@@jroemling In my part of the US fire departments will come and monitor controlled prairie burns sometimes. You call them ahead of time to arrange it along with your permit.

When Anni said “And then we have cat” I almost spit my food out. You guys are the best!! 😂
Have to leave a comment - been subscribed to all 3 channels for a while. Most impressed with you two guys, the fun, realism and pure enthusiasm for all the stuff you do - and sometimes hilarious. No doubt it's hard work and not all plain sailing behind the scenes.
Without maybe realising it, you're raising awareness of Finland and Finnish people in a very positive way.
Good job Lauri & Anni.
👍👏
I really love this channel 😃👍🏻🔥 So much good spirit!
That settles it! I’m getting the sausages and play dough out of my safe!
I'll liberate those items from my neighbor's safe.
Bub's bub's we need you for a job!! Ughh Julian... Is it greasy or Grreeeheehaaassssyy? Edit: I've gotta admit Bub's it is pretty greasy.
Yes, nothing with moisture should be in there anyway.
I think padding the bottom and sides with a few hundred sheets of blank paper would help too and maybe set the entire safe on some kind of steel plate/sheet.
No matter what, if you had a fire and had valuables in the safe, then you would be way happier than if those were not in there :-0)
"this has our "home videos"" mmmhmmm we all know what that means!
The home video was very hot.

According to the almighty Google, the Finnish word for Pyromaniac is Pyromaani. That sounds to me a bit like 'Pyro Anni', which is quite apt.
...then please seek an Ear Doctor, as you can't hear 'M's' ; ))

About as close as Gun knit ('gannit' - Anni) and Gone it ('gaanit' - ...aani).
I know those expressions don't really make sense, but if they were said - thse would be the equivalent to the Finnish ones.
So somewhat close, but something English also differentiates.
In Finnish all those Anni, aani, ani, and aanni would be possible + even the i can be long: ii (~ee in English), and could change the meaning.
For example Annii (spoken Finnish) )corresponds with her, when Anni corresponds with she.
“Then we have substitute cat...” so freaking good!!!
Probably your best video idea yet, I cracked up a number of times. Amazing that such a cheap safe was so fireproof (if not robbery-proof).
If a safe is light enough to be picked up, it should be bolted down. I don't know about regular safes, but gunsafes are designed to be bolted into studs (from the inside)
Not the same safe, but czcams.com/video/2guvwQvElA8/video.html
Should have got one of those thermometers that keeps the max temperature.
I would just like to tell everybody that you should invest in one of these fire resistant safes. My grandparents suffered a house fire just recently and their fire safe was one of the few things they could salvage. My grandparents live about 20 minutes from our local fire station and we live in a small town so the fire station is run by volunteers. It took about 35 minutes for the firefighters to arrive at the house with a water truck and start fighting the fire. However, the water truck soon ran dry and the hose lines froze (it was in the dead of winter at the time) so the firefighters couldn't do much to help fight the blaze after that. We were able to get the fire safe out and that alone had several valuables in it. Some of the plastics in the safe had melted slightly but other than that, everything was intact wit nothing more than a little bit of heat damage. There was also lots of plastic things surrounding the safe, and plastics burn very hot so the safe did it's job well. If you have valuables that need to be kept safe, get a fire resistant safe. They're certainly worth it. You won't find much in the ashes. Ask me how I know.
Would be helpful if he told us which one this is. They are not all,the same.
12:30 - Now *that* was a nervous laugh from Anni! lol!
Really nice - it did a lot better than I expected. I would at least expected the CD and plastic stuff to melt.
5:12 Evil Anni comes out to play.
I was hoping to see a GoPro go in with a flashlight or some other lighting. That would be epic!
You get an effort point but i dont think that footage is worth risking a 300$ gopro.
Do you think if you vacuumed out all the air in the safe it would stay at a lower temp inside
@@1019wc1019 for as much revenue they'll make on this video, a Gopro would be worth it.
If you were to create a true vacuum, that would be incredible for a heat safe. It would be very interesting to try maybe creating a vacuum in the walls of the safe.
You could use a €50 cheap brand camera it's almost as good and no big loss if it went wrong.
@@nothingsurprisesmeanymore True! That would be interesting.
@@1019wc1019 nope air is a very good insulator
Damn, so my quest for a safe storage system for my playdoh continues...
the amount of times lauri slaps the top of the safe
Haha haha like 20 times
:'DDD
Truly a professional safe slapper
Wow. I thought for sure it would all be toast. Most fire safes grossly overstate their ratings. But this one vastly exceeded it. Amazing.
First you placed everything nicely separated on the different shelves and after that you threw it rolling in to the ground :D
😂
Schrodinger's cat experiment doesn't work if the cat isn't in the box 📦
The cat would be raw and well done at the same time until you opened the safe
The cat is in a quantum superposition of inside and outside the box.
Schrödinger would like to have a word.
And wouldn't.
Also, the cat experiment is in an ethical gray area.
Is it ethical or unethical?
It helps to first shave the cat with Occam's razor.
This is actually a really good test! I always wondered how durable these safes are in fire. 👍😁
Nellie, the project supervisor 5 million.
I'm surprised you did not use thermite to start a interesting fire :)
It's Nelli not Nellie
"Home videos" XD
I love your sense of humor. A bit weird, sometimes dark, intense but extremely enjoyable.

Awesome vid as always! The slow-mo flames with the metal playing was EPIC! I could watch & listen to that all day! 🤘🤘
"and then we have cat" cat: "oh shit not again" lol
This has been one of my favourite videos from you guys; keep up the good work!
5:36 this is why I love Finland! They have the concept of Fire Department a bit backwards, but they are my kind of crazy!! =))) (pouring a 2 gallon gas jug straight into the flame? XD)
Diesel is much different than gas.
@@defeatignorance8681 brush up your English, both of y'all. I didn't say anything about the nature of the liquid. I just said they used a gas jug.
Either way, when you're talking about a building on fire, a fire at full temperature, doesn't matter whether it's diesel or gasoline, both are flammable and dangerous. Now stick to your own respective expertise, please, and don't troll with pointless remarks. If you want to comment to improve the channel's stats, at least do it with a message that contributes to the topic, either by information, or by added humour.
Greetings from Florida. NEVER EVER walk up to a fire holding a jug of ANY flamable substance, not even cooking oil.
Some years ago we had a teenage girl get the bright idea of dumping a bottle of gasoline on a backyard bonfire. She spilled it on herself and was horribly burned on 90% of her body. She died in the hospital.
NO chemicals on a fire, ever.
You forgot to apply that magic corn flour called Starlite.
They have to try this again with Starlite and the neighbor's barn.
This is so cool... I am totally impressed with the results, but the process... the fire department... all of it... *WONDERFUL* This is the content I enjoy!!! Thank you for bringing some Sunday morning viewing enjoyment! YAY Lauri & Anni!!!! Top CZcamsrs!!! *THE BEST*
As an ex employee of Biltema I find it so amusing to see their stuff tested to hell and back X3
Very impressive fire resistance! Funny video throughout. Great job!
Thanks guys, pleasantly surprised it was holding out for so many hours. Good to know, great effort and video
I love the lens used to film this. Some of the best immersive footage you've filmed so far!!!
One cooll cat there. Great video again guys with some good consumer advice, way to go guys.
This guy is out of his mind and I love it. His Wife is pretty awesome also. I love watching the stuff they come up with on both channels.
I just love that you take your cat with you when you go and do these sorts of things
Nellie the cat lives there at the "countryside place."
I can't get over how she says "like new" at 10:15 lol
"Almost like a new", so cute!
Sounds like dexter
Wow! After being ingulfed in fire for so long I thought all of the contents would be toast...very impressive.
Joking about putting the Cat in the safe had me rolling with laughs. Well played!!
I think this project could be revisited with a Beyond The Press made fire proof safe and use Starlite in the insulating layer. This store bought one did well but wonder how much more heat it could handle with Starlite
Very cool, nice to know that they will protect your valuables from fire at least. If its some thing super important you could put it in side a smaller fire box inside the safe.
Love the constant slapping of the safe at the beginning.
I’m mad, I tried this at home. The safe contents were fine but my house is a total loss.
Awesome wood desk, speakers and computer set up, dudes.
Very nice video Lauri and Annie,I thought that safe done it's job very well, especially with temperature sensitive things like that SD card.
I'm a fan of Browning Pro-Steel safes, they have some of the best ratings in the safe industry.
The Browning Pro-Steel Platinum-Plus has a MINIMUM rating of 1,200 degrees fahrenheit for 120 minutes.(2-hours)
These are very pricy though, this safe retails for over $8,100.00 U.S.D..
It's also very heavy at 1,815 pounds,so your floor will have to be extremely strong for this safe.
When you have nothing to do and its cold
in Finland, it used to be Fishing and Fucking.

Very nice video editing in this one. Also, as usual, love the metal music soundtrack, although wish there was more of it and wish it was louder! Thank you.
Awesome video. Always love your guys video.
I love watching you both. Always fun and gives me one big long smile. The cat should be in all of your videos too 😬
Good realistic test....Like your style!
As today's extra content I would like to see 2 minutes of nelli the cat sleeping. That would be really nice. Just peaceful sleeping. Really.
I love at the end how the cat is just hanging out on the tire. 😂 The kittie should know that's not a safe spot to hang out.
@TomOfTurmiola that is true at least you can spot the cat on the tire
Your monitor and speaker setup kills me. I had something just as half-assed yet functoinal in college.
Even sold the 21 inch CRT years later ;)
ok thats it, once a cat shows up its instantly the best video today
That safe performed better than I expected it to

Anni was so funny in this video, the cat part made me laugh so much!
Why is this the best CZcams channel? Meeeettaaaallllll
This was a great test! I have always wonder the same thing.
that slowmo flame shot was incredible
Liked this real world test, of a fire safe. I see that the Fire making Department, helped you, since the fallen barn, was quite wet.
it was surprisingly wet so the hardest part was getting it on fire :D
Thats a lot of punctuation

Finland is awesome!
We could have done this in Canada 35 years ago...maybe.
You can still do this in Canada, if you have a large property, you can get permits to burn brush(and trees and whatever) and those fires can be bigger than this one.
As long as you aren't in a city and the fire department knows about it, it's ok.
That was surprising, good one!
Contemplating buying a safe for apartment. You just convinced me that it was a good idea.
Yea this was quite eye-opening. I will probably get a fireproof safe at some point! Not really worried about burglars but it would be nice to have in case of a fire or something, anything could happen.
Crazy the size of the fire! Wow.
The second that Lauri took out the sausages, My Summer Car instantly went into my head 😅
I have to get Anni's laugh as a ringtone lol
lol, the barn is on fire.. laure is like.. grilling sausages XD I like his spirit..
"Double cats". I love this guys humour.
Your English is amazing!
Another great video from my favourite YOU TUBE Channel
Smile of Anni as always is the best part :-)
Lmfao!! Leave the asbestos so the robbers get cancer 😂😂
You should put 10lipo batteries in the safe and put on fire and close it
"It's illegal to use asbestos in Europe on safes anymore so..." But it is completely legal to purposely burn down whole fking building with all the shit in it. LOL. Guys, you are the best!
Thanks. The CD was surprice it didn’t melt. BTW you have really nice office desk.
Cool fire department. Helping burn stuff!
Another fine, hassu adventure. And it was kiva to have Nelly be such a central figure in the video
