I sanded the paint off the front sight and used mothers mag polish on it and I can see my sights a lot better the front sight on the standard government model is made of aluminum so it shines up real easy

25 YARDS ??? That's PHENOMINAL accuracy at that distance !!! With almost no difference between Thunderbolts and Federal Gold Match Ultra !!!
to be fair... um, never really had much success with FGGMU. next video may break into some Eley black box match and really see what happens. but yeah at 25 yards, especially with basic sights on a commercial firearm, eh, match doesn't help a whole lot anyway
I have a Rock Island 1911 style in 22 WMR, it needs to go to the range. The video reminded me of it. Switch back to the Hawaiian shirts LOL!

wasn't aware there were two versions... no experience with the commander, both ther Hammerli and Colt models i own are government size
Can I use federal punch 22lr self defense ammunition in the colt version they use the same longer caseing as the cci stinger
runs fine for me but you may wanna consult the manual or give Waltehr support a shout just to make sure
Yes you can with no problems. I exclusively run the stingers..only thing i dont like is it trashes the recoil buffers for fun.
Is it as good as the colt by Walter I have the government model colt 22lr by Walter the standard model

I picked mine up, the gun case says Walther, on the sticker with the info it says Hammerli and made in Germany.
Those 2 are basically the same pistols just under different name.

@@CloverTac As in "completely the same in their inner workings" or did Umarex/Walther some innovations in the mechanical system as well? I am seeing the guiding rod coming out of the Hämmerli while as far as i know the colt has a shorter knob as a guiding rod which does not exit the slide.
