      Jet? The easiest way to deal with him is to line him up with you on a horizontal plane - if you're far enough, he will always do his "Superman" flying fist charge at you. That's your chance to do a dropkick on him. Rinse and repeat for an easy win.

      Full disclosure: this 8-minute video was spliced down from a full playthrough Paul recorded of me.
      It certainly was mentioned, though unfortunately it was put on the chopping block when it was edited.
      Your special attack (A button) does damage you, but only if A.) The attack connects with an enemy, or B.) You input a direction + special button.
      In SoR3, this is mitigated somewhat, as you have a bar that, when filled, allows you a "free" special attack that does not damage you.

      The floating head (Vehelits) is a bit of a pain, but the strategy with him is to do a dropkick on him, or your towards, towards + attack special move right before he hits you. Rinse and repeat and he should be defeated rather quickly.

    Great video but you didnt address how to finish the combo with the high kick. I do this on accident somehow sometimes, but the full combo for Axel is jab, jab, cross, mid level sidekick, high kick. But most of the the time he just ends it on the mid level sidekick. Any idea how to make him end it on the high kick every time? Its just random luck when I do it right.

    • @AldoAraujo85
      @AldoAraujo85 Před 4 lety +2

      Combo is about timing. It's more of a sequential tap - if you tap the attack button too quickly, it'll bypass the last kick. For further clarification, here's a GameFAQs excerpt:
      "Thanks to the magic of emulators with frame advance I now know how the last two kicks work. The only factor is WHEN you push the button. There is a two-frame window when your arm retracts from the third hit. (2 frames is 0.033 seconds on NTSC, and 0.04 seconds on PAL.) If you push earlier, there will be no kick at all (but you can push again) If you push on either of these two frames, both kicks will be performed. If you push later, only one kick will be performed. TIP: Practice the timing, this single last kick is the difference between beating up dozens of enemies one or two times".

      IMO, the "master" part in the video's description isn't the best wording to use for this video, as it's more of a general guidelines for strats that will help you along the way, but nothing too deep like exploiting enemy AI.
      That being said, it was an eye-opener to see so many people that were not privy to things like the throw recovery - so primer vids like these definitely serve a purpose.
