John and Paul: YS is a song about unity and togetherness.
Ringo: it really is about a yellow submarine
Deserves more likes.
But Paul who write this
Gato Simba don’t, don’t ruin it
Good one lol
I think the song is about the traveling bus, going to perform you're on the road a lot, it becomes a part of who you are. Especially if you are on LSD probably. Even having dreams about school buses, thats also a yellow submarine. But the yellow submarine is also a metaphor.
"I'm all out of ideas boys......" - John
"Well.. there's always Ringo's idea" - Paul
"Listen, so there's this yellow submarine...." - Ringo
Always go with ringo
Ringo the kingo
It was Paul's idea though

Let's just appreciate how beautiful is Ringo's voice, simply gorgeous
Think Of this the Stones, Queen and Zep were good But One singer. The Beatles they all sang
@@tomperock1615tbf they all sang in queen but mainly dominated by Freddie. I think the closest the came to a song not by Freddie is who wants to live for ever. Brian sings a quarter of it on his own

Ive never heard ppl have voices that sound like the Beatles. Its an indescribably quality. They would win America. IDOL.and it sounds like a generic voice actors voice almost. Almost like it isnt real. (The voice that is) but ALL THEIR VOICES SOUND PERFECT.
You are so right-Ringo’s voice has a slightly funky, heartwarming quality.
@@tomperock1615 I wish I could actually sing. But instead, I make weird noises approximating singing. But we all live in a yellow submarine.
One of The Beatles’ best songs. Ringo has such a fine voice, which has a tinge of melancholy.

James Hart Paul wrote a lot of their songs he also wrote Hey Jude, Twist And Shout etc
FERGUS I know
Paul: Filling the world with silly love songs
John: A dreamer, but not the only one
George: Wants to see the Lord
Ringo: Living in a yellow submarine
Drowning in a octopus garden under the sea
He lived in a yellow submarine, but then traveled to an octopus garden
What's up with George?
Ringo: Also a PowerPuff Girl
paul and john wrote yellow submarine
The drum tone in this song are perfect. They sound so clear. Perfect studio work. That snare is straight fire. Kick too.

Nate DS great comment
This went straight to the top of the hit parade in August 1966, when I was an 8-year-old schoolboy in Warwickshire. All the grey-uniformed boys and girls loved it, especially the chorus. During breaks, we marched around the playground in a big group, arm in arm, singing the chorus over and over and over again ... until the nasty headmistress, driven to breaking point by the endless shrill repeats, banned it outright. So we carried on singing it at a barely discernable whisper. We had the yellow fever; we couldn't stop!
That must have been the first time I felt the exhilaration of rebelling against adult authority ... thanks to the Fab Four.
Is that why they titled the album 'Revolver' -- because they knew they were fueling a revolution that would change society irrevocably?
Before The Beatles, the post-war world was dull monochrome; they made everything brightly coloured! (This was also the year of the first colour TV broadcasts.)
Young people today can't even begin to imagine the enormous influence that The Beatles had on the entire post-war generation and the love we all felt for them for being unique, brilliant, exciting, funny and free.
Thank you so much for this comment

The legacy of The Beatles still going on strong after 60 years... I am overwhelmed, broken, touched and can't stop crying... this is a very heartfelt moment for me... words can't express my joy, satisfaction, gratitude, and nostalgia... I am absolutely devastated and blown away... All because of you... And you will know for sure... That I love you... I feel like I am in a sublime divine spiritual realm and God has accepted me in paradise... and I get to spend my remaining days with John Lennon and George Harrison... I have finally achieved redemption and nirvana... they sang their hearts and souls out... my soul is cleansed, my heart broken and my scale of fulfillment and satisfaction goes beyond the clouds... beyond unfathomable heights... I feel complete, calm, peaceful and devoid of any burdens and desires... I am so proud to be a Beatles fan... Have always loved you lads... and always will... Amen...

I like the Beatles they always made good songs and they are cool too.
What's remarkable about this film is that it was made in 1968, well before the days of computer graphics, using conventional cel animation, collage, cut-out and stop-motion in ways that were new and visually stunning at the time. It was made in London's Canadian Animation Studio by George Dunning and 4 other key animators in under a year, which was very swift in those days. And the world recognised how unique it was: Academy & Grammy Awards, Library of Congress National Film Registry citation for being culturally, historically and aesthetically significant. It doesn't get better than that. I was 22 at the time, had been through uni and all that flower-power stuff when the Beatles were at their best. 'Bliss was it in that dawn to be alive, but to be young was very heaven'.
Film Theory: Yellow submarine was the grandfather of the Magic School Bus.

I'm pretty sure it's about his father. A submarine is always a warship. Lennon drew yellow submarines in his early diaries. His father sailed away on a warship to escape family and other difficulties. So I don't see Paul's contribution. Also, in the demo, Lennon sings the full version of the song, and Paul says that John knows the words better. Only the one who wrote them can know the words better.
