  • What is the best crawler tire among these two. The Proline Hyrax in 1.9 or JConcepts Landmines? Both are using their stock foams in the softest compound available. They're using different wheels in the test but they are weighted to weigh exactly the same. Info here:

    Luvin' the Landmines on my Capra. I had started with Pit Bull Growlers, which preformed "admirably"...but they're completely blown away by the Landmines. Hopefully, the Landmines will sell well enough for JConcepts to develope a smaller diameter 'scale' 1.9 version, as well as a (slightly) larger 2.2 version.

      @@RCReviewChannel I understand it is a review and I appreciate the time you take to do them. However, to make a review more fair, the time of comparison should at least be the same day. Different temperatures and humidity levels definitely effect performance. At first I thought the review was the same day until I heard you mention one of the tests done when it was more damp outside. It's not a huge factor to eliminate a tire brand from the review, but it would make the comparison more fair if done on the same day and with the same vehicle.

    • @RCReviewChannel
      @RCReviewChannel  Před 4 lety

      Great advice!!! Yes, same day is key because of the moisture content of the rocks and soil. Good news is we've used these tires on many conditions and the results on the video reflect our experience.

    • @RCReviewChannel
      @RCReviewChannel  Před 4 lety +1

      Agreed. Predators are king. They fold over a bit more in the rear on steep climbs. Dual stage foam is a good match for it for some sidehilling.
