I really love the fact that you and flair have become great friends other than just customer and builder brad.. it really warms my heart that you guys have developed such a great relationship over the course of a couple of years... also brad, ive learned a whole lot since you started your channel. Thanks for being a great mentor for all of us.
Thank you for saying that! ❤️👍
I’ve had two homes built in my lifetime and you are the first to offer 30 day and one year checklist/inspection…. Amazing!!!! No wonder you are the best!!!!!! Hope your son’s hand is ok..
Really? Did your builder stand behind any of your home repairs?
@@BradtheBuilder After many many phone calls. Took about 30 days to get him to show up. Last home was a disaster…. Glad I sold it. Having a trustworthy honest contractor is worth their weight in gold……
I’m owner building my own house west of Lincoln and I had a window drywalled over in our master bathroom. And our windows had jamb extensions already installed! Glad to hear I’m not the only one.
Thanks for sharing your story. Lots of crazy things happen in construction.🤔
No matter how a house is built the last few things always take the most time. Also every house out there isn't ever 100 percent complete. There's always more to do. Great to see all the videos on all the projects you have going on. Like to see more on your house/ future guest house
I’ll have a lot more videos coming on my house as it continues to make progress… Thanks for watching
Brad,"The Flair Manor" is really looking good, you and your team have done a wonderful job, thank you for posting all of these videos !!
That’s so nice of you to say that… Thank you for always watching🤠🎺
Brad the builder take over fr need more videos
👍🎺
Brad what you do is not easy. Lots of moving pieces all while juggling 6 different balls at the same time. People with money can be cruel, Flair is a saint!
You’re exactly right… Andrew and Macy were fantastic to work for and their home turned out Beautiful !
Hope Nates hand is doing well. Enjoyed the videos of him hunting with Flair.
Nate’s doing much better. he had to reverse the drill to back the screw out😫🙆♂️
That home came out awesome ❤😂
House is looking awesome!
Thanks! 👍
Flair will be lucky to have everything done inside and out by the end of June and should be able to have a big 4th of July open house party! That's if there are no unseen problems coming up!
That will be great if they can get the pool all in at that time should be cutting it close
Brad I hope that your boy is ok??? I can’t believe that happened!!! Well I wish him the best!!!! Awesome video Brad!!!
Luckily, it didn’t hit any nerves or tendons and he was able to back to screw out… He’s doing fine thank you
They DO make safe doors that open inward. Bought one out of California several years ago for my safe/tornado shelter room. Homeland Safes is the company.
Awesome walkthrough! Can’t wait for the pool and landscaping.
I hope Nate is okay
Nate is doing great! Thanks for asking… it was a close one
@@BradtheBuilder thank God! Must have been scary for you all and very painful for him.
I hope for a quick and full recovery.
I’m a PM on large job sites, and yes you have to watch everyone it seems. Common sense isn’t very common, nice job house is beautiful.
You’re right… Where did the common sense go??🤔
Nate hope you’re feeling better.
The house is epic! You should get a Flair Puck (the name even lines up with Flair!) for the garage Mini Split AC so you can set schedules and/or sync with the rest of your house HVAC settings rather than having to control it manually with the remote that it comes with.
The handheld control doubles has a thermostat
@@BradtheBuilder what is the brand? Does it have an app to control from a phone? Flair can also set schedules or sync it with the thermostat inside to mimic those settings.
@@bergenpalmer we use a lot of Mitsubishi
Nice walkthrough to check everything out.
Are you going to put little maps in certain areas with the little arrow that says, You Are Here so new people can find their way around ?
🎺🎺
Haha! Good idea👍
Great job! Everything looks great.
Brad I just want to say I think you did a wonderful job on Andrew's house. It's so nice I could only dream for a house that size and nice. GREAT JOB 👏👍
It really turned out beautiful. I can’t wait to show you guys the finished home when I walk-through with Andrew in the next couple of weeks
would never want a house that big. but im single no kids and never probably will. But still more house more i have to clean.
@@fuzztsimmers3415 yeah I have a family of 5. The view he has and the land he get to play on.
@@fuzztsimmers3415 it is a BIG home
Another great episode Brad 👍👍 Good to see that everything came together aside from some lose ends.
Thanks 👍
Hey brad it’s me again,
I really love the fact that you and flair have become great friends other than just customer and builder brad.. it really warms my heart that you guys have developed such a great relationship over the course of a couple of years... also brad, ive learned a whole lot since you started your channel. Thanks for being a great mentor for all of us.
Thanks for always watching and yes Flair is going to be wonderful neighbor. He’s very giving and caring
Let’s go! Hope your having a good weekend brad!
I did have a nice weekend! Thanks
How about you?
Hey Brad , these videos are awesome but us younger contractors I think would still love to see a video on how you do an estimate on a huge project like this! Or a mini breakdown of one!
Ok! I’m working on a Video series like that along with how I get started and different types of Home builders
@@BradtheBuilder I’m looking forward to seeing that series! I’d be very interested to see how you got started and how you got to where you are today. I’ve only been in business a few years myself and I wanna grow my business to something like yours eventually!
@@AustinBupp feel free to DM me anytime and I’ll help you out anyway I can
Don’t leave us hanging on Nates hand hope he’s OK the house looks great
He put a screw through his hand and had to reverse the drill to get it out🙆♂️ he’s doing much better… Thanks for asking
Oh yeah another Brad vid
Hope your son is OK keep up the good work brad
Im glad to see the electricans struggle with those lights as well. Makes me feel better when I struggle with those lights to stay on the clips.
The manufacturers should add a label to the box… These don’t install easy!!
Sports room would be a great gym🏋️♀️
The final punch list is one of the best feeling in the world.
But it’s the little things that can drive a person crazy
Happy wife, happy life!!
❤️👍
Beautiful home and property!👍🏻😁✌🏻🤙🏻
Thanks 👍
get it done.
I’m on it! 👍
I love the simple kind of builds, we built room additions and turned carports into garage's!! lol
👍
Looking good Brad !
❤️🤠
Handled well, like always. What else can we expect
🤠👍
No way would I ever want to have your business. You have unbelievable patience. You might be the ultimate rich people concierge.
Builders have to put up with lots of details where The homeowners expect it to be perfect.
The house looks great ...
Y’all should do glue down carpet squares in the blank room
Wow Flair’s house is amazing! Hope your son is ok !
Nate is doing much better. Thanks for asking.
@@BradtheBuilder you’re welcome brother
@@lewisjohnson2732 👍❤️
i feel like for the gun room, a pocket door bookshelf would have worked fine, but there would have been something planned into the design of the house more than an afterthought like this was
Man the monthly electric bill in flairs house is more than my quarterly house notes combined. Would love to know his highest electric bill of 2023
the geothermal will help alot but given the endless cash flair seems to have and the land he's got I would install a solar panel setup somewhere on the land
I’ll keep you guys posted once we get a few months under our belt to get an average monthly utility cost
Pocket change for him!
With modern insulation and appliance efficiencies, it's not going to be nearly as much as you'd think. Not to mention that he can independently operate the mini splits to save cash
I hope your son is ok. Please let us know.
Cliff hangers at the end! Hope Nat is ok!
Luckily, we were able to get the screw out and get him fixed up with a whole freaking damage to his hand🙏
Brad you did a great job on the house , Cannot wait for Flare and family to move in a do a walk through .
Hell happened so I’m waiting for all the furniture and drapes to get installed first
Fun Watch.
👍❤️
" I know a guy that knows how to do It " Very Nice 👏👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
🤠👍🇺🇸
Very nice idea, building it so it has the basement walkout.
We do that a lot here
Flair really should put in a couple bowling lanes, basketball goal, air hockey table, pool table, foosball table and a couple arcade games in the man cave sports court area plus add color changing LED Light Strips around the ceiling in the man cave sports court.
The vent hood in the man cave kitchen seems low and would be easy for someone to bump their head on.
Live opportunities for the sports court and I believe Flair has Raised the hood
28:04 prime example of why lock out tag outs exist 😂
We need some spicy jerky for us NM folks!
It’s good stuff
You can put a plunger on the bookcase door and a release button on the inside or a pull cord release for the latch, the plunger will open the book case pro prevent someone from getting trapped inside.
It's even simpler than that. Once you open the door you lock the bolts open while you are inside it. Safe door can't close with the bolts thrown, and the bookcase door can't close because the safe door is locked open several inches.
It's a habit you have to stick to. Get caught slipping and the little Sheeew might slam the door and spin the handle
Don’t forget about the automatic screens on one of the porches that block the wind
Yes! I’ll show that at the final walk-through. They’re installed now.
Warranty work is always fun
It is?? 🙆♂️
@@BradtheBuilder Absolutely
@@Dmanplayer723 😜👍
Make the sports room under the garage into an indoor paintball course. Have each person build a tower in the corner and then you'd have a course!
That would be fun
I love your videos
Thanks so much
Love the content Brad!
Your work is pricey but worth it😅
Would love to meet if I ever was in NE
Let me know next time your in NE
For the shelves by the gun room if the built shelves along the side wall and then made a fake wall above so they look inset like the door it would blend in awesome
👍
Damn with all the benefits you offer no wonder your one of the best in your area Flair does have a keen eye for things I hope you're son Nate is alright amazing video as always I can't wait for the next one don't listen to the haters they love nagging at people and have nothing better to do with their life
Thanks for asking about NATE… His hand is doing fine now was a little scary when he had to reverse the drill to get the screw out of his hand😫🙆♂️
@Brad, really really close yo being completed. It looks amazing. Dont listen to all the trolls online, they arent worth ur time at all. I personally believe conductive criticism is one thing, but just being spiteful and rude is another. Honestly there are so many folks on here that appreciate who u r as a person and enjoy the work you do. As long as your home owners are happy at the end of the day, thats all that trult matters. I hope your son Nates, hand is okay and there werent any complications due to the screw being in it. I for 1 cant wait for more videos, updates and new builds. Keep up the fantastic job.
@@RyanRyker thanks Ryan! That means a lot and I appreciate your watching all the time and thank goodness they dodged a bullet by not doing any damage to his hand 🙏
If Eugeno moves into the haunted house aka house on the hill, Beefcake construction is going to have to build a secret chicken coop that flair can get extra chickens for.
Hey Brad.. How much did it cost to build your new house beside flairs. You should do a video of the costs to build a custom home
That’s a great idea… I have some budget set but like everyone I keep adding things, so I’m not quite sure what the cost is but I will reveal that in a video
Brad: do you have a popcorn machine
Flair: yeah i have one in my missel silo
He has everything! 😜
yolo hope everyone is doing well
All good here!❤️👍
24:42 good thing he can just come back to this video for this info cuz we all know he ain’t gone remember 😂😂😂
Yup, got its, riiights, and wow!
So many of them lmao
I would love to see more on how the geothermal works up there. I have done what we call "water to air" here in Florida and would like to see if it's about the same.
I may be the only one the requests this but it's worth a try 😅
I will try to do a better job explaining GEO 👍. Soon
@@BradtheBuilder You should get the mechanical install crew and the salesman together to ask questions. I love seeing the faces each make when the other answers a question 😆
I'm just kidding. But you know, if you need some rainy day content... Florida and the Midwest are two completely deferent animals when it comes to buildings codes and practices, so all the different trades are so interesting IMO! 😆
@@JayWillis2120 thanks for the suggestion… I like it!
Liberty (in swing)(THE BEAST VAULT DOOR)
Now you tell us🙆♂️
Flair needs some 2x6's on top between posts to keep from bending
The plastic tiles are a national brand called sport court. There should be a certified installer/designer in your area.
Yes! That’s what I was trying to remember as I put them in several homes years ago… Thank you
I know its part of the business mistakes happen. Sometimes slowing the guys down a bit tell them quality vs quantity. This house is beautiful its huge also
Hang the basketball hoop on that back wall so it’s out of the way and you don’t have to move it
The fix for the safe door, and potentially getting locked in is easy to prevent. You have to get in the habit of locking the door while it's open and then you can't accidentally, or intentionally get locked it.
👍
House looks amazing...I know all about punchlist...some homeowners are something...lol
How do you drywall over an interior window. Someone must have been on the sauce. House looks amazing though.
🙃💨
For the man cave bathroom you can do a circular mirror would fit perfectly
👍
Your fridge door is actually designed to be high when empty cause as soon as you load the doors with gallons of milk drinks etc it’s will sag back close to even
Dogs go in the man cave with the jerky business 😂😂😂 interesting
🤔
I was thinking just about the same thing in the gym room those light that hang down with the cone is not a great idea in there because if a ball or something hits one of those lights it might not be good so those low profile light might be a lot better
I agree… Thank you
I have a question about the hot water heater. Why do you need to heat water that's already hot ? 🤔😏
Maybe you should have installed a cold water heater. 😜
That's an old George Carlin joke. 🤣🎺🎺
Haha! That is an interesting way of putting it 😜
I’ve actually seen the drywall over a window make it all the way to closing and be discovered by the homeowner. It’s funny how people not on the trades find it unbelievable that a window would be covered over with drywall when some just forgot to cut it out. I’m a mason and I’ve seen the same happen with the carpenters not cutting out the exterior ply and we’ve bricked right over where a window should’ve been, oops.
They hang full sheets and cut the openings after. I forgot an outlet and a switch one time. Figured it out later when I was trying to get a ceiling fan to work.
I hope you’re son is doing okay Brad!
He’s doing good now! Thanks
Ive seen the window covered with sheetrock where its not easily visible outside.

What water filtration did you use here? Moving to Wyoming on well water.
I’m not quite sure🤔 my Wife is big on doing the research and we’re doing a whole house filtration system & softwater
@@BradtheBuilder Can you do a video about that stuff you install for your house or your clients house?
@@bestshot300 yes! I will talk about that when I do the final walk thru viedo
😬 I hope Nate's hand is okay ! 🤞
As my dad would say… It’s a long ways from your heart you’ll be fine!
He’s doing great thanks for asking
First off, I hope Nate is ok. It's always so scary as a parent to get those phone calls. It doesn't matter whether our kiddo is 5 or 35, a parent will always respond. It's horrible enough to hear that a screw went into his hand, but it's somehow worse imagining them having to remove it. Hopefully he was able to have that done at an ER with sedation. Gulp... I really do hope he's ok.
That walk thru was great. That is a great practice that you come back thru the house after a month and then after a year. I believe you really need to live in a house thru all 4 seasons to work out all the kinks. I've owned two homes in my lifetime. The first one was our condo that we lost (along with everyone else on our side of the fire wall) to a fire. The second one is the home we are in now. I had all kinds of ideas for this place but made myself hold off on any major changes until we'd been here for a full year. Only about half of the ideas were actually carried out, for a variety of reasons. I would have regretted making the other changes had I not lived in the space for the first year or so.
I have to admit, I laughed at the fact that the window in the bathroom had been drywalled over. That was crazy that a professional would do that. It might be time for the head honcho to remind his employees that doors and windows don't get drywalled over, haha! Could he have placed the drywall with the intention of going back and cutting it out and then got sidetracked? That's the only way I can even envision that happening... It's crazy!!!
Another great video, Brad. Thanks for another good one. I look forward to the videos when your family and the Flair's are neighbours. I hope Nate's on the mend very soon.
Heather🇨🇦
Heather, thanks for your concerns and always reaching out!❤️
Nate had to reverse the screw gun to get it out 🙆♂️luckily it didn’t. His nerves are tendons is going to be just fine.
@@BradtheBuilder 🤢 Glad to hear that he got it out, though must admit envisioning it is hard to fathom/stomach. SO glad to hear that the nerves and tendons are going to be ok. Poor guy.
@@heatherd.9390 as my Dad would say “it’s a long ways from his heart, he’ll be ok”
As a plumber in Fresno California. bathroom faucets are the worst faucets for a home on a well
Is it because of the lack of quality water? Or the pressure
@@BradtheBuilder I believe it's just the faucet itself. People love to install them in their homes but a year later they asked us to replace them. They seem to always start losing pressure after a year
As a plumber it's great for business but as a homeowner no

if i was him i would get some arcade machines and few pinball machines and virtual pinball machines .Xtreme Gaming Cabinets probably sells best virtual pinball machines and there not cheap you probably spending over $10k and company is from Australia, it takes about 8 to 10 months after ordering virtual pinball machines from Xtreme Gaming Cabinets i think it worth the wait ,
Does it cost people more to get stuff that is messed up fixed that’s not their fault like the fridge door being dinted or the nails on the drywall
It’s all under warranty. It doesn’t cost the homeowner or me any extra money. 👍
Poor Nate. I hope he's ok
Nate he’s doing fine. He was lucky that it didn’t hit a nerve are attending.
I'm convinced the install teams at NFM try to make fridge doors as unlevel as possible.
Maybe they wanted to make a return trip to see the house now that It is done?
You should speak with flair about having a zip line from we’re the pool is going to be to we’re the pond will be or have the zip line going over the pond so he can grab one of he’s guns from the gun safe go on the zip line and shoot as he’s passing over the pond
