U don’t find people like Brad very much nowadays. I know for 100% Mr. Brown is a Saint and there’s a special seat awaiting him. The amount of small damage that adds up quick and dealing with homeowners insurance sounds pretty miserable. His house isn’t fixed yet but he’s down there fixing Andrews. Keep the videos coming sir. Can’t get enough and helps me escape my wheelchair for a little while.

Brad buy a used boom lift at auction. Way safer will increase productivity by double and improve Eugeno morale! Ritchie Brothers has them all the time in decent shape for 4-6k
I think the issue would be having to tow it to the job site.
I was a mason tender and we build schools, its definitely a tough job. Always on the run trying to stay ahead, but the fire proofing guys have it pretty bad , have to wear suits and masks, in 90 plus degree weather spraying stuff that makes you so itchy. Ill throw mud and block all day over doing that lol
As a painter I have been told many times how hard my job really is. I think electrical is the hardest. I did some when painting was slow. Painting any birdbrain can do, electrical not so much unless you like getting zapped.

I'm going to say the roofers have the worst job. Not sure about the heat in Nebraska but Florida and Texas are brutal. Then of course there's always falling off that wouldn't be fun.
Insulation is another job I wouldn't like. Especially when you're hot and sweaty
The heat and especially the humidity in Nebraska are awful in the summer. I honestly don’t know how they do it!

The worst that I saw that was still liveable was when just the roof of a trailer got blown off
They had a tarp over the top of it for a good six months.
They had no insurance and has spent all their money on a few acres of land and the trailer. They paid cash for both.
They were retired and a bar did some fund raisers to replace their roof by winter time
Brad get a lumber mill out there and make some lemonade from the lemons you have been dealt. I think there is some hard wood in there looking to become more than fire fuel.
The problem is how exorbitantly expensive it is to mill your own wood, especially when half of it has been snapped up by a tornado.
I know a guy who milled his own wood for his house…. Cost him 3X as much.
3rd time that barn has flipped between 2 properties. I think it’s time for a permanent structure.

The worst jobs in construction video would be interesting. For me it was roofing or anything that involved insulation. My last construction job was setting modular homes and I had to crawl around in a lot of basements and attic crawl spaces lagging and installing straps. I was good if it had any insulation but fiberglass. And roofing I just hated the heights sucked but more so it was always 20 degrees hotter I hate it when it gets too hot

I don't know much about house construction but I am an ex pipeliner and the worse job that I could think of is a port-o-potty cleaner, especially in the summertime.

I think you should tell Andrew that it would be best if he built a duplicate house at the other end of his property so in the event of another tornado, he can just stay in whichever house isn't damaged. 😉

I say roofing is the worst as far as home construction. I did it for a couple years and I hated it. Whether it was tearing off the old roofs or carrying up packs or rolls of new shingles up a ladder 2-3 stories high. And on top of that in 100 degree temperature. And then all the clean up and I've stepped on multiple nails that went through my boot in to my foot with rusty nails. So definitely roofing is the worst plus the danger of falling through or off of roofs.
That is definitely top on my list of worst jobs

Roofing is the worst..i did it for 20 years straight 6 days a week..work all thru winters in the damn cold..it sucked
And if you slip when you are on the roof that Sudden Stop is going to Hurt!!
I'd say with all my construction experience roofing and electrical sucks. Everything else really isn't too bad unless you have a very old home then it changes.

I have the hell adjuster coming out this Friday for a second inspection for the second storm that hit us

All jobs in building have there down sides bigger the roll bigger the stress is my opinion from experience

I’d say interior trimmers have worse part inside before the ac so it’s hot and it’s never ending small stuff (I’m a sider)
You have to deal with ladders and working off the ground that’s dangerous

The tornado knocked them down. I don’t know why they didn’t stand them back up… I finally did put them upright later in the day.

The only reason the house stayed up was it was built to. If it was built like all the cookie cutter mass housing companies it would have been a county away.
