Chandler Limited - RS124 - KMR Demo Room

In this Virtual Demo Room video we put Chandler Limited's EMI/Abbey Road RS124 valve compressor through its paces.
The RS124 compressor was custom built for Abbey Road Studios and was never commercially available. Chandler's recreation of this coveted super-smooth valve compressor harnesses the sound and personalities of Abbey Road's historic RS124's (Ser. No’s 60070B, 60050A, and 61010B) - all in a single processor and still in use to this day. Additionally, “Superfuse” provides a more aggressive character for extra flexibility. RS124 played a major role in defining the sound of Abbey Road during the ‘60s period and can be heard on classic recordings by the Beatles, Pink Floyd and many more.

What a difference this unit makes. And clearly despite being heard over a truncated medium. This is a smart demo because this is exactly what many people will be doing; printing individual tracks through it.
