The usual dynamics: The doggie is a bundle of nerves while the kitty is as cool as a cuke.
It took about 3 months for our kitten and puppy to become friends. They were both rescued from abusive environments. Now they love each other, we’re all delighted.

We adopted 2 shelter kittens and brought them home to my boyfriend’s 11 year old Golden. It was instant love. Roxy had slowed down enough that she didn’t scare the kittens. Within a few days they had discovered that Roxy’s fluffy tail was the BEST toy to chase when she walked-and she would walk around in circles wagging her tail so they could chase it. It was the most heartwarming thing ever to see how quickly they all became family.
What a good boy! Ezra is adorable! And that bengal kitty… too sweet!

That was so well filmed and edited for starters. And the way each were coached in stages to patiently get comfortable with the other. Just brilliant! Both Ezra and Nova are adorable!!

We have a bengal like that. She doesn't believe in gravity. Up is just another direction. And fast! Fast, whew! When she races around the house (for exercise) she's only in low gear. When something frightens her, like the time I accidentally dropped a book on the floor, she moved out faster than I could believe. You have no idea, but you will learn. They are great cats! Your dog is nice too.
Two beautiful babies, I think the dog was more confused and jealous than scared. Good to see the kitten settle in quickly. They will be best friends in no time.

I lost my Bengal last year after 16 years and he was the best cat. So smart and loyal. He loved car rides and taking long walks to the park.

@@ezranovaconan I had a cat push through such a screen and jump from six stories. He was afraid and upset because I was trying to get him in a cat carrier. He apparently survived the jump just fine as he ran off and I never saw him again

Great multi day adjustment for those two. Nova did make a dominance move at the end though. However that may equally be play. Ezra is so sweet.
Bengals are the cutest but Ezra is very special.. he's got soul in his eyes.
A trick I used is I collected hair from brushing my dog and lined the cats cage/ safe space with it.
It made the dogs smell a comforting smell to the anxious kitty.

That's a bengal all right, they don't know boundaries. You have to set them when they are little. It's hard because they will play you.
Very well done for showing how to introduce another pet in a difficult circumstance and show how you did it!!!!! A lot of channels/videos skip a lot of this.

A saucer or lower food dish for Nova would be nice. Cats can get stressed by having their whiskers touching things the way that deep bowl makes her eat. I love how carefully you both overlooked the introduction process!
