How is the snow white doing? They usually die pretty quickly once they are taken out of the gel because the leaves lack chlorophyll, and can't photosynthesize properly. Never could keep one alive in my tanks, so I'm very curious about your experience.

my 10 gallon tank used to be full of plastic plants but then i bought some good substrate and sticked anubias and some frogbit and some other beginner plants and now i have four glo fish Fyi: removed all the old plastic plants, also love your channel.

i remember when i was getting all exited about my tank being in ftr 7, and now look how far you have come!
I gave my 40 gallon fish tank a Water change, I have 2 mollies and 3 guppies. The mollies act as if the guppies are mollies and they don’t really bother each other
@ 12:12 there's also a bamboo shrimp chilling on the right side of the tank, feel terrible for the baby.
I’m a bit worried about the fact that the Colombian tetra isn’t more worrying to you. Tbh that might be the only thing which is ok in that tank

I’m more worried about the lone Colombian tetra. I have a bamboo shrimp in a 3-5 gallon (it’s a crime but I have never checked the size since it’s a bow front), and he’s fine. I don’t think most shrimp care about tank size.
if you look closely at the particle board bookshelf you can see the board didnt break. the pins holding it together simply got pulled out of their slots. just something i thought was interesting
Dealing with endler aggression is tough. Even my cichlids are more peaceful
LOL yeah those small little peckers got quite the attitude don't they!
My endlers are leagues better in terms of aggression than my old tigerbarbs.

I actually didn't teach her a thing! Some geckos are just more adventurous than others, at different times. Pashy is not very active during the day

I did a water change yesterday when a chonky crestie punched my window and started screaming uncontrollably until I called the cops. He then proceeded to break my aquariums until my arowana ate him
I only do 1 "water change" in a new tank, and let it balance itself out while slowly introducing bioload in small amounts per month.
That beautiful planted tank with wrong stocking makes no sense. The tank is filled with beautiful plants to the brim, you can’t even see the fish. If you love plants in a small tank, get appropriate nano fish or just don’t do fish! It’s beautiful-don’t make it a beautiful death trap.

I had a particle board desk moved to swap it with another particle board desk but with a hutch this time, and before it was moved, I took EVERYTHING off. I’m not very big or strong, and I could move it down a floor alone with little issue. Those things are very, very light.
Welp- rescaped my betta's tank and all the dried mulberry leaf debri made my water messed up Lol- note to self: only use it with snails. Corycats don't eat dead mulberry leaves

Alright, maybe im just out of the loop, but by 'low tech' aquarium, we mean something that uses plants and lights, with the fish, instead of electronic pumps and filters? I have done these eco-system builds, but i do it for the plants. I enjoy hydroponics, and many fish eat the algae and other wastes that form in the reservoir.
The 'waste' from the fish feeds the plants, so you dont need chemical fertilizers, and for the most part, water that is good for the plants, is good for the fish too.
I am REALLY missing my old 8 tank setup now...I had some flowering lotuses that grew in one tank, they were just amazing. One day, i went in, and the Betta i had had in the next tank in the line, had managed to get into the Lotus tank, and was feeding among the roots.
that fish lived for a good 4 years, with me, but i pulled him from a Petco Shelf, last of their Bettas, and he was barely alive. He wasnt 'pretty' like others. He was the color of old rust, brown/red.
Smart fish though, i never figured out how he was getting from one tank to the other. I have...guesses, but well, Betta are not salmon, and i used PVC pipe for my water transfer on the down stream feed to the lower tanks.

I got cheap particle board furniture but it's reinforced with steel bars. At least I hope it's steel... GULP!

My tank: Cycled, lots of benifical bacteria, clean, planted, natural substrate, perfect water temp/peramiters.
My new guppies: The new father has kidnapped and poisoned us. Put us in the most filthy water. The yucky tank. We shall all now die in protest.

There is also a channel which uses hamsters just to replicate the games of Squid Game, several youtubers severely criticized the channel because of animal abuse, yet the channel is still up and running and they literally *heart* comments criticizing the video just to rub salt in the wounds

Dude I finally ordered stuff from aquarium co-op yesterday! I need to switch out my 10gal tanks filter bc it’s noisy as heck, and I’d love to get a sponge filter but idk if it would fit in the filter slot in the top, and also because all of the bacteria is in the filter cartridge…. Any help?? Anyways, if I ever need a sponge filter I’d definitely get it from aquarium co-op!
