Employee at petsmart tried her hardest not to allow this lady to buy 10 goldfish for a 25 gal for her son. She said maybe 2 max. After some back and forth attempting to talk her into some guppies or smth to get that "full tank" factor, the lady ended up getting 4 and she strongly advised they upgrade to a larger tank within about 6 mos, bless her 😓

I've got a handful of kuhli loaches, and my husband and I call out "loach boyyyyyyyys" anytime we walk by and see them wrestling or playing tag. They're just so gd cute
qotw-- definitely coffee. Tea is....not for me.
ALTHOUGH I started drinking this coffee alt called Mudwatr awhile back and it's amazing. Too pricey for me to have everyday so it's just a weekend treat for me, but it's seriously amazing. It's got a tiny fraction of the caffeine in coffee but somehow has all the same or even more energy boost. And it doesn't crash my sugar, so I don't have to drink it around a meal.
As an aussie I stay up till 12am waiting for a new episode ftr to drop, the highlight of my day. Keep up the good work!

The robo fish thing is something that should be made more.
Imagine a robo goldfisgh in a bowl that is connected to a small wire that still makes it able to swim in circles. The power comes from a cord on the bottom of the bowl you can plug into a fuse box so no battery needed.
Since its a robot, you can get creative with the design, which means you could have a scary looking, glow in the dark deep sea anglerfish robot in a bowl.
Id buy that even though I already have a proper tank with real fish.
There are 2 types of black water.
1. Black because of the Wood or leaves
2.or because Of fish abuse

Loved the crayfish which sort of tied in with Sky Ship Arowana.
Can see the huge flying mechafish anime style, close up slowing passing across the screen.
Cut to the hanger where our heroes are suited up and climbing into their Cory Fighters.
The hanger door slowly lowers, the sky becoming visible.
Cut to the outside shot the mouth of the SS Arowana is opening and when fully lowered the Cory fighters zoom out.

I had those robofish as a toy for my cat who likes to play in his fountain. And then had to seriously ponder even getting a tank since I'd essentially taught him to chase fish. But hes a very good Boi and likes to quietly watch his betta friend. Also there was a robo-dolphin in Johnny Mnemomic. Which isnt a fish, or the Matrix - but Keanu!

Those robotic fish could be a great option for a "first pet"

Not a fan of the glow corys! AFAIK glowfish are fairly healthy in general but I feel like it's teaching kids that fish are toys and not living creatures. Also, QOTW- Coffee in the morning, tea the rest of the day! Big fan of green tea and there's a chamomile lavender herbal tea that I love!
1st Tank looked fine. Sometimes fish die, sometimes come sick from store.
My grandma had a robo-fishbowl at home for me to look at. She bought it when I was born. Now that she is gone I have it, and my kids look at it. Fishes are still swimming!
That is so smart, since the succulents are in the tank, you don't have to water them anymore. That means you can't overwater and kill them. 5/5 for ingenuity!
It’s funny I’m actually a intern at a exotic vets office irl and they give all interns a temporary license while we are interning there so now I can correct false animal care whenever I see it.

I just got some fish for my tank yesterday! I’m not going to submit my tank just yet because I just got the clean up crew for now, but next weekend I’m getting green neons and probably some panda cories

I'm terribly sorry if you're an experienced keeper and this comes off as unsolicited advice, but you're stocking fresh as though your tank is marine. There probably isn't enough algae and biofilm in there to clean up so be sure to supplement with plenty of algae wafers. I'd have done the tetras first personally.

All of the teas! I don't care for the taste of coffee but I love the way a fresh pot of coffee smells!! When it comes to tea though, iced or got, I love them all and only very rarely sweetened.

Tea! Specifically matcha, matcha lattes really though I've had straight matcha tea and it's actually pretty good! Takes some getting used to, but mmmmm!
Also We finally have our tank set up, cycled, and fish in! My babies are 4 cute sparkling gourami and hopefully I'll be able to get on to FTR soon! But by then I'll likely have a few more fish but for now I'm enjoying my little sparklers!

When I drink Coffee I make it pretty blonde. Not the blondest but it needs a good bit of creamer and sweetness. I really like cappuccinos, cafe miels, and lattes where you can taste the espresso. Starbucks and Dunkin are not my least favorite places to get coffee. Local is the way to go! I also love hot tea. Loose leaf is the best. The leaves aren't chopped up into bits. They can unfurl and fully release their flavor as intended. Adagio is my favorite online tea shop. Black, oolong, green, white, and herbal/ tisanes, I enjoy them all!

I don't get off work until 11pm and I don't go to sleep until 6am so I get to see my crestie and tree frogs running all around the tank all night.
QOTW: As a pretty nocturnal person lol I drink a ridiculous amount of coffee lol. I grab if cup of coffee with cream and sugar before I leave my house for work. Then on my days off and night I go doordashing after work I get a large vanilla iced coffee from WaWa. My Starbucks drink of choice is a vanilla sweetfoam nitro cold brew. But I do also drink tea sometimes, usual plain green tea with nothing in it (I don't know if that's still considered "black" for tea) or like a matcha tea or chai everything now and then.
Coffee ☕ AND Tea 🍵. Love them both. Coffee in the morning; tea in the evenings.

I had an African Dwarf frog tadpole that, despite my best efforts to keep them alive, died of dropsy. It was absolutely heartbreaking to watch, definitely not a funny thing.
Sorry about your frog, I have dwarf frogs and haven't had anything even close,but my understanding is that they don't really know what causes it, good care is prevention of everything, but sometimes stuff happens. Hope you are feeling better.

tea :} bigelow black tea comes in many wonderful flavors and I dont need a lot of caffeine to wake me up. I also can't handle the bitter of coffee even with lots of milk + cream. Tea for me! especially with sugar and maybe a splash of milk to enhance the flavor/cool it down right after steeping.

These have actually been in development for longer than the GloFish bettas, which have been on the market for over two years now. Glofish Corydoras catsfish will be arriving in stores starting September 12th. Numbers will be very limited initially, but we are allocating some of these fish specifically for our Certified GloFish® Retailer program, which ensures that our best independent retailers are more likely to get these fish. Wider release to independent channels is expected by early 2023.
This is a great-looking fish, available in both green and orange. They fill space at the bottom of the tank, much like the GloFish® sharks, but in a smaller, more peaceful package. The price point is the same as the sharks as well, with a suggested retail price of $14.99 [ ugh so overpriced]. Their care is similar to any other green or albino cory cat, with the caveat that GloFish® cory catfish generally perform better with more frequent targeted feeding.
It’s an exciting time for GloFish®, with the long-awaited cory cats coming on the heels of the wildly successful GloFish® pristella Tetra launch in August, which in my opinion, was the most successful launch since the original GloFish red danio. The Pristella tetras are crazy bright, and school tightly, making for an amazing display. Releasing all three colors at once has been a home run. And equally important, they’re both hardy and prolific, so we haven’t had availability issues to date
One final August release has been overlooked with the success of the pristellas and the excitement over the cory cats. Purple bettas were released in August and may be the nicest betta in the product line. The entire line of bettas has come a long way since they were first released. They have been shipping at a great size for a long time now, and many of the fish have neat contrasting red or blue in their fins. The purple is even brighter than the green and orange, and now that there are three colors available it’s even easier to justify dedicating some shelf space to properly display these. Even easier is a sorority tank with all three colors of females displayed.
I don't particularly care about GloFish but the company is honestly causing so much cruelty with how they advertise these fish. due to the price tag of these cories new hobbyists will only get one or two thus leading to miserable cories [ they will also probably advertise them for tanks with their sharp ugly glofish gravel ]

Probably not good for the fish, but ducking succulents is one way that people water them. They generally don't want to be watered often, but when watered should generally be watered fully so ducking is a rare way people do that. The tiny bit of water I believe leads to really tiny root system, instead of encouraging them to root more. I don't dunk, but I water my outside ones every couple days and indoor ones weekly -- they're in very light mixes that dry out by time of next watering.
