- Let's go rescue some Vw's and grab a ton of parts in this part 1 of 2 adventure. We also introduce Larry's next full restoration, a 1959 Beetle ragtop car. I found this car in a barn where it was sitting for years. We then take a first drive in the restored 1965 Vw Beetle convertible in the beautiful fall New England foliage.
I've been using these storage sheds for cars, tractors etc and I'm very pleased with them:

Nice restoration Larry, beautiful car. it's great that you help each other out that's the thing about like minded people they stick together. Great video Jason and thanks for sharing the scenery. We get leaves and plenty of them here. 🇬🇧🇬🇧👍👍
Larry’s ‘65 is gorgeous! 😍 Fabulous work done on the restoration. Love the video Jason.🍁🍂🍁🍂
Beautiful restoration! An otherwise quite enjoyable 19+ minutes! Thank you!
DEFINITELY BETTER THAN NEW !👍👌👏What a beautiful VW Beetle !
Larry thanks you, it really is an amazing restoration
You should have just shot reflections of the foliage in that awesome paint job! Larry can teach you some good things, Jason, like "PUSH cars downhill, DRIVE cars uphill"!
👍👌👏😁😁😁 That's definitely a wise advice!
Best regards luck and health
Awesome 1965 convertible. Larry did a very good job on that one I bet it road pretty smooth

Hey Jay...
Should have called Mustie1...he'd of lived the engine sitting on the ground by the fence! Lol...and parts...you'd have had ferr labor to load and haul! Lolol.
That 67 would be a neat one to bring back...didn't look to bad of shape...
yes he would, that engine I gave him that was wrapped in the tarp is in his 65 Ghia...also from me😆
Nice restauration. Good week
Sweet sounding ‘65!!😊
I love those Camaros in the background
Superb ! Thanks
That 65 is beautiful wow.
Holy Sh!t!!!! That cabriolet looks it just rolled off the showroom floor! Absolutely stunning.
...and we got a ride in that beauty - what a fu*ckin treat is that!?!?!
Beyond envious =)
I agree with you on the steering wheel cover's. When they first came out I tried 3 times to make them look good. Finally decided if I really didn't like my steering wheel, just replace it. Guy does beautiful work, can't wait to see the next one.
Dude 18:12 could be Ireland, looks exactly like it. Older stone house, stone walls, small road and green everywhere 👋🇮🇪
Beautiful job on the restoration.
Beautiful convertible. Thank you Jason for the great videos. Always excited to see what’s next. God Bless
thank you Mark, much appreciated
That’s a nice convertible! Love the video . Try to stay warm I here it’s going to be really cold up your way.
Wonderful black convertible, a superb restoration I’ve not seen anything that good before. Our trees here in the UK are now the same colours with warm sunshine. My favourite time of the year.
Wow! A treasure trove of parts. You can see the change in the trunk. Really like the paint job!
Oh my that 59 is so pretty...can't wait to see the rag top being worked on.
Thanks for the views of foilage! Nothing but smoke here in the PNW still!
Nice find, can’t wait to see the ‘59 rag done!
Thanks Jay!
Wow that 1965 convertible a stunning car, Remember it from the last video at Larrys. What sort of money it worth ?
What a beauty.
Those two bridges you crossed over going into NH are being replaced. I grew up in that town. The 10 on the license plate is the month of registration. What a score of parts.
are they ? I like the old stone bridges in Hilsboro
@@5150mxVW A number of years ago that stone bridge was severely damaged with flooding. I have pictures of it being rebuilt.
I like your videos big super fan of your channel you gotta put out some more new videos. I watched all your new videos are ready you need to put out some more. Thanks appreciate it. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for the kind words , new vid is out
Nice ride in the 65

Richard, thank you ! You are in the books as the 1st....and moving forward possibly the only haha. Have a great week
Looks and sounds amazing!
That '65 is stunning! Curious what it looked like before Larry restored it... Is that '59 Capri blue? Love that colour...
Hello, my Favorite was the T1 Bus.
Nice Country too 😊😊
Greedings from Germany ❤
Wow that 65 is gorgeous! He did a beautiful job on it. I have depressing news for you Jay.
agreed, he sure did ....what. happened ?
@@5150mxVW I looked and looked all over WNY, PA, OH and couldn't find a VW worth restoring. So, I bought a 68 Chevy Impala and I may buy a 66 Impala Fastback. I can find these around here. Wish I could send you some pics. I just bought bucket seats and a back seat. Going to restore it over the winter. I really wanted a VW but this to me is an investment.
@@RusThompson Nice ! congratulations, I bought two 1960 Impala's and have yet to go get them...projects of course haha! J5150mxvw@yahoo.com
@@5150mxVW I have to come see them. 60 is another great year. I'm looking for a 63 Impala next. Retirement has it's benefits. I'll email you.
save them all ..good job

Restauração perfeita! Parabéns!
Gotta like RAKING LEAVES if you live in CT.....
We're getting the foliage now here in Minnesota.
Man i need to move up north. Only super beetles survived down here in Louisiana. To much humidity
yes you do, come help with leaves ;)
Epic restoration of the vert. So Jas, when are we seeing you back in the shop? Looking forward to you finishing some projects. Awesome content as always.
Another nice score Jason . 65 conv a beautiful car
Very nice
Hell yeah dude!!!! I love studded snow tires!! 61 Bug looks decent!!!! RAD DUDE!!!
How many times does Jason say Foliage in this video? haha. Bring home the bus!
I look forward to the sequel.
thank you, more soon👍
I drive across those bridges a couple times per week. That’s quite the haul
I'm digging that red Camaro! He's got a nice setup and some nice cars!
he really does, and he's built / restored so many more....you would never know it when you meet or talk to him. I had no idea until I came to check out his shop after I. sold him the 59 and saw all the magazine articles / museum builds he's done, he never mentioned them to me.
Thanks Straight Ahead ✌😎
Awesome!!!
Awesome video.
You can't have to many vw parts.
I think you should empty your pockets out and buy Jen that sweet black convertible.
✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.
Beautiful backdrop of foliage for that amazing car. We only have 2 seasons here in Texas. Summer and winter
nice job.
Wow.

👍
Hey , you’re trespassing Mustie1 territory ! Great video man.
The VW hunter..😂 love it!,
Excellent video Jason :) I had Lol when said born 1970 because I was born 1976 thought were born 1968 same my oldest brother David is and nice black Volkswagen car to very sweet too ! Also not sure and can asked for help on Jason what was fire year Volkswagen Bug or Bettle or Bus put on Generator the Regulartor box top why to because some notice you have in cars have it and some don't have to! Is reason to they did too!
beautiful ovali with a great patina, that's very difficult to find here in this country 😉 greetings from Germany
holy grail stash, don't tell mustie1
How much for the black vert ? Wow what a great looking Bug !
👍🏼🍻
love the fuel valve // use your foot turn on more gas and look for a gasoline , lol never stop working
KILLING me, Jay! Next time, let me know when you’re coming up. If I can, I’ll give you a hand.
If you were lucky enough to score all of the VW's and the massive amount of parts you'd need an old supermarket building to house it all in. A far better fate than any of it has suffered so far left out in the weather like that. I'm more than sure Mustie could take what's left of the Ghia, combine it with the pieces car he now has and make one great car.
I had and restored a 56 in Greenish gold. I matched the color with an Olds Toronado color chart
nice!
I'm more into VW buses, but even I wouldn't say no to that 1965! Looks and sounds great. The 61 looks less crispy than usual, it has rockers and not just a rusty rocker suggestion. The paint job is horrid though, please someone give it a nice paint job. You see the original colour in the passenger wheel well, a nice blue. I guess painting it in really ugly colours means less chance of it being stolen?.......
12:09 👌
Jen would love that 65, just saying 🤔
wrong color and I should never own a car that nice :)
That '65, un real!
It really is , I looked the stripped painted body over slowly in its entirety to find a flaw and I honestly could not find one or where he worked on it, amazing job. Larry thanks you
Got my drivers license the day I turned 16 in a blue 57 bug in Bethel Alaska 1966.
wow, that's awesome Ron :)))
What a stunner ! Price range ???
Did I ever enjoy that ride…sounds sound. In the day I had a66 and 69. Probably 300,000 between the two. Have really renewed my appreciation and love of the Beetle. CZcams has been priceless for me. I say I graduated from the U ofYT. UNIVERSITY OF CZcams, I am still attending daily along with night school. Endless knowledge and information. Thanks for your VW addiction. How much for the convertible? Just curious.
7:52 nice bikes
👍
I have a couple bugs out on benson Arizona that need rescuing. One is a 65 with what seems the original motor. Still a 6 volt car missing seats, carpet, hood and fenders. Let me know if you want to road trip for an Arizona car. Only rust thru is small rear pan holes.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I loved my bugs
👍
This is going to become a LOT more common in the next 20 years. Nobody collected this stuff like Boomers. The oldest Boomers are now in their late 70s, 77 to be more precise. These stashes are going to come on the market ever more frequently as boomers either die or downsize. Retired people usually want to downsize. Dead people ALWAYS downsize.
This stuff will get dirt cheap and plentiful. This is the reason Model Ts are worth less than VW, despite being decades older. Nobody alive had a model T as a kid unless it was an old junker when they bought it.
Hey, I'm a boomer and I resemble that remark
