Hello! Excellent works with the curcuit diagram. I have a problem with shuttle motherboard. It seems from pci diagnostic card that reset light stays always on. I check reset and there no voltage at all (i don t have switch). Where should i check for possible shorted curcuit? And I/O or Southbridge is responsible for reset operation??

please man i need help,when i plug the power to the psu it boots without pushing the power button of my pc,so what is the cause maybe it is a short in the power circuit or what

p.s:the pc does not boot else if i push the power button,just before pushing the power button the psu is on with all the fans but without start up of pc

first change the power button cable. if still same, you should follow some steps. Tell me first do you have motherboard repairing experience?

@@dhakalabandinstitute6964 yes i have some experience,and the power button cable is not the problem because i remove it and the problem stays,i am thinking about the power on wire in the board maybe it has short somehow,so how to be sure if it is short??

@@rabihbitar5469 Check CMOS Clear jumper and CMOS battery. And you did not mention the motherboard model.

Hello, this morning impossible to start my motherboard H77, I tested everything, everything seemed normal. Just one thing, the battery was dead, which made me think maybe a short circuit in the southbridge. After testing it wasn't shorted, so in the end it was the stupidest thing in the world, the battery was dead, and the motherboard won't boot if the battery doesn't have a minimum voltage.... Honestly, I've never seen a PC motherboard not start because the battery is empty/missing...

It happens sometimes. Actually your battery is shorted. Try to start your laptop without battery or buy a new battery.

​@@dhakalabandinstitute6964 It's not a laptop it's a desktop computer, and I've checked I don't have a short in the memory battery and if there's no battery it won't start. It works with new battery cr2032 that's the most important thing, but it's a strange design...

Sir my pc wont post unless i heated the motherboard with hair dryer for a while and then my pc turn on and work normally, i try to find solution but dont find very specific solution, maybe u have any solution

any part/IC may have loose connection. you may heat by hot gun.
